My husband and I had an amazing time at this lovely home. the views are incredible and there is so much to do if you are outdoorsy around the area! 1000% will go back!
Everything was amazing, however the wifi was out of order which was upsetting

Rental has great potential, but needs lots of structural repairs, updates, and overall cleaning. The house is set deep in the woods, and nature has taken over, so prepare to get dirty. Big kitchen, but stocked with only the bare essentials, crusty food left on pans and utensils, and a lousy oven that takes 20 mins to pre-heat to 400. Also had to spend 20 minutes cleaning the gas grill just to get the ports to work. Outside patio furniture was extremely moldy and left uncovered. Lots of bird poop and cobwebs everywhere, which the owner referred to as "all the beauty NH has to offer." Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess. Not impressed.
We had so much fun at this property! Not too far from loon. Clean and great amenities (we loved the hot tub and the pool table). Hosts were very kind, accommodating, and communicative. My only note is beware the driveway gets very muddy and rutty when wet out- not for the faint of heart. I recommend having your friend with an SUV drive.
The home was really nice. Accommodated 12 of us easily. The view is amazing. The pool table downstairs kept the kids occupied and was a great bonus for the adults as well. We would definitely consider booking again.
Overall, the property is really good. The best part is the view in the back and the access to the river.
The house is very clean, though some parts of it could use some renovation. Particularly, the room with the twin and bunk beds have very old spring mattresses that are not very comfortable. The carpet upstairs could also be replaced.
The house is extremely well equipped with items for use in cooking and grilling.
I would stay here again.
This home has beautiful views and an expansive deck. This kitchen is large, with plenty of counter and cabinet space for food preparation for a big crowd. We just wish more of our clan could have joined us.
Charlie was more than accommodating when we had a minor issue with the hot tub. He came to the home and ensured that everything was working properly.
I couldn't have asked for better service.
The property itself is beautiful and has a ton of potential. The views were incredible, the house was very spacious, and the hot tub was a delightful amenity. Pac man was a hit and it was great to have the basement/entertainment area. Check in was a breeze once we received the code. We had a good time. And the property managers were pretty responsive.
The cons:
- the entryway and back deck could’ve been shoveled prior to our arrival along with the snow removed from all of the furniture covers
- extra linens and pillows were not provided as stated and the housekeeper never went to provide us more and basic necessities seemed like they were left behind from previous renters (I.e half used bottles of soap and body wash)
- one of the thermostats never went up past 59 degrees (the room was freezing) and the property manager wasn’t very helpful with this matter
- overall, the property could use some updating (fresh paint, upgraded appliances - the toaster was disgusting and the oven was challenging to use)
I dream of retiring at a house like this. It is beautiful inside and out. The views from the deck of the mountains were amazing. Cannot recommend this house enough! Between the endless outdoor activities and game room downstairs, there is something for everybody!
We had to cancel our wedding because of COVID and we’re able to have our bridal party here for a weekend away. The pictures do not do this place justice! The view is amazing and the river is fun for swimming!
I hosted a Jack and Jill bach party here with 17 people and it was a huge success! The views on the back deck took our breath away. Having a ton of outdoor seating plus the hot tub and fire pit made our stay even better. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. The house was spacious and clean. We definitely will return here!
Amazing home with access to many ski areas, Mount Washington, ice-skating, Plymouth State University… And more! Amazing views from anywhere in the house relaxed and refreshed us. The fireplace and jacuzzi warmed and relaxed us while the basement game area with pool and video games was so much fun. Lastly the owner did everything he could to make our stay perfect. He went above and beyond and was extremely rresponsive, helpful and an amazing host!
We really enjoyed our weekend!! The view and the hot tub were so relaxing. The house was perfect size for our 13 girls weekend, with plenty of more room for additional guests if needed. We would absolutely reserve this home again.
The property was in a great location off the beaten path which is what we wanted. The view was amazing from the deck and hot tub. plenty of room for the 6 of us and plenty to do. The kitchen could use some updates and the refrigerator needs to be clean out. The beds were comfortable and so was living areas. We spent most of the time out on the deck because of the weather. The lighting out on the deck and up to the fire pit could use a little update. Listening the the river at night was very soothing.
Great house with an amazing view! Plenty of space to be comfortable and cozy. The owners were great to rent from, communicated well and kept us informed about our stay. It was an amazing family getaway and we enjoyed our stay!
