Our home is located in the majestic Maplecrest valley, steps away from CD Lane Park and less than a mile from some of the best hiking trails in the northeast. In the summertime, the park is great for bbq's, swimming, biking, hiking, playing on the playground, kayaking, or playing basketball. In the winter, Maplecrest is the perfect quiet place to cross country ski, snow shoe or walk among the evergreens laced with fluffy snow. Just steps from our front porch guests can walk over the dam witnessing a 360 degree view of the valley and the surrounding mountain range.

The Big Hollow House is a log home built and designed by our family and has held many happy memories over the years. We are located 10 minutes from skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing at Windham Mountain resort and 10 minutes to restaurants and bars on Main Street, Windham as well as a 15 minute drive to Hunter Mountain.

The Big Hollow House is a two level fully furnished log home featuring a beautiful open floor plan kitchen and living room with a seating area and a pellet-stove, as well as a great room with 21 foot cathedral ceiling and double face blue stone fire place. The first floor is equipped with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. The second floor is a master suite featuring one Queen Bed and one trundle bed (2 single mattresses.) The master suite also features a double sink, full sized bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi tub.
