Bear Mountain Ski Retreat with a view located only one block or so from Bear Mountain in Moonridge - you can walk to ski shuttle and the new zoo is being built adjacent to the golf course. Our cabin is outfitted with the very best amenities including Pottery Barn furniture and Ugg pillows, new bedding, a spectacular view from our private deck all from a private hillside that is overlooking all of Moonridge. Moonridge is a quaint upscale community in Big Bear Lake and it has it's own village.

The Master has one queen bed with a Smart TV and oil diffuser and split heater, the second bedroom has a full mid-century bed with an air mattress in the closet and a large Smart TV with split heater, the living room has a pullout leather sectional with upgraded queen luxury memory foam mattress and for an old school treat throw on an assortment of records with a new record player with Bluetooth and a great selection of artists and cuddle up with one of our many luxury throws. Just added a game console to the back bedroom with two controllers and all your favorite old school video games are preloaded with two controllers. Just added books and Legos for kids. Just installed EV charger (bring your own adapter) NEMA 14-50-R.

We provide coffee, luxury tea assortment, creamer, sugar and other items and our kitchen comes fully stocked including an array of spices to cook with and all cookware items you can practically think of. We have a gas bbq on a custom deck with a bbq shelf for food with a bear bottle opener, string patio lights for at night and a patio set all overlooking Bear Mountain and the rest of Moonridge. We have sleds, luggage racks, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, shampoo, body soap and conditioner and extra linens, DVDs, blankets, towels and camping chairs. There is a closet to hang your ski gear in when you first walk in and a custom stone and log mantle fireplace with smores' sticks in the kitchen. There are plenty of fun games to choose from in our hall closet as well. We provide free fast WIFI and Netflix.

Our spa is LED and in a fantastic spot to view the slopes and unwind under the stars and twinkle lights after a long day at the slopes. Kick back and relax and enjoy views from your own hillside retreat. We can warm it up for you on our app by request.

We have a wall heater and new modern room wall heaters as well and fans should it become warm which is a rarity in Big Bear. We also have double pane windows overlooking all of Moonridge and a spectacular view from our deck. Please note cabin is not child proof and it is suggested you bring a travel bed or use our queen pullout or air mattress for any toddlers or babies or our sofa pullout bed. We also added a Split AC/heater combo in the living room.

Entire home is rented out to you. This is not a shared home. You will be renting an entire cabin.

We will be available to answer all questions at any time via text or via AirBNB messaging. We also have someone within a short distance of our cabin should any emergencies arise.

We are right next to the ski shuttle (walking distance) to Bear Mountain where you can ski and snowboard or watch sometimes an awesome concert at and you can literally walk to the shuttle and a very short drive to Snow Summit. The new Moonridge zoo and golfing is just down the block as well as the hidden gem of Moonridge Village with quaint old school restaurants and coffee shop. This is an upscale neighborhood that is the hidden gem of Big Bear Lake with a ton of areas for free sledding and trails for hiking and biking all around us. It is the perfect location without the crowds but close enough to be within a short distance of every major attraction in Big Bear Lake.

Bike rentals are down the street, lots of trails and hills to snow sled on (sleds in our front closet), even in our own backyard when the snow is there. Ski shuttle to Bear Mountain is within walking distance of our cabin. Our driveway is slightly steep so when snowing it is best to have a 4x4 or chains as our driveway is not flat. This is a hillside retreat with spectacular views of Bear Mountain and lots of trees in an upscale quaint community called Moonridge.

Patio furniture and bbq is covered to protect against dirt and snow please remove and replace during your stay. If it is snowing, we will have our driveway plowed for you.

Parking: The City of Big Bear Lake limits Parking to a maximum of 2 vehicles for the house. No Street Parking is allowed in any residential neighborhood. Just installed a new NEMA 14-50-R EV Charger (bring your own adapter please).

Please note in all Big Bear Lake rentals per Code you will need to take out your trash off-site down the street less than a half mile to the free site for trash. This is due to animals and Code enforcement and is the law for any Big Bear Lake rental.

All trash must be taken off-site per Big Bear Lake rules that will be emailed to you or it is $25 per bag left behind.

All occupants must be disclosed as Big Bear Lake is strict on occupancy and vehicles you cannot exceed either or it is subject to immediate eviction without refund and $200 per person over (5) person occupancy. No pets please or you will incur a $250 per pet fee per night.

No music per Big Bear is allowed on the property line and Spa hours are prohibited between the hours of 10pm-8am per our permit and City rules. Please close the spa when not in use or it will trigger our app and will not remain warm.

You must be at least 21 years old to book our cabin.

Village distance: 9 minutes away from the home.

Slope distances: Snow Summit is 7 minutes away from the home. Bear Mountain Ski Resort is 4 minutes away from the home.

We have high chairs and pack n plays available at our office for rent for a fee of $25 per day for each or as a packaged deal, please notify us in advance if you would like to rent these during your stay.

To comply with our city permit, there is a $35 charge for dish cleaning in case they are not washed before your check-out.

If there is trash in the property, there will be an additional charge of $25 per bag.

Any guest that violates county or city rules as outlined in our 'things to know' and 'house rules' sections will be subject to paying a $350 call code attendance fee by our 24:7 call compliance staff in addition to any fines levied by the city, whether it results in a violation or not.

No hot tub use after 10pm per the law any time a spa is left open more than 30 mins a fine of $250 per hour will be due plus damages to the spa as this can result in a severe issue - if a user error or maintenance is refused to verify a spa issue or if we have to dump and fill water prior to your stay due to cleanliness requirements - we cannot be held liable nor grant refunds for a spa not being at the temperature desired or if left uncovered - if we have to dump the water it can take 24 hours for it to warm up
No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages no street parking at any time this is separate and apart from any fines issued by the city for going over occupancy, music heard at the property line, noise after 10pm and dogs left at the property along with $25 per bag trash rule due to the City of Big Bear Lake laws
No events or parties - any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction same with smoking or pets - owner is highly allergic
$25 per bag of trash left in the fridge, in kitchen or onsite anywhere - this is the law and we must abide by it
$45 dirty dishes fee - our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law
