Unique to Northern Illinois, this Spanish style Villa boasts five patios, a furnished balcony, a gazebo for the perfect small wedding and capacity of 10 + for sleeping. An outdoor dry Cantina with funk is only one of the many surprises you will find as you look at every turn to something unexpected. This property is filled with beautiful furnishings and offers a gas fireplace, Bar & Coffee Bar, game table, two TVs hidden in beautiful armoires, many seating areas, a furnished balcony off of the upper level that boasts a 12 foot ceiling. A large walk in shower on the upper level and a jet tub in the lower bathroom offers any level of self-care desired.

An absolutely beautiful home, inside and out. We had our son's wedding there, where I cooked for about 20 guests. The kitchen was nicely equipped for such a task. Very easy communication throughout the stay as well. I highly recommend this place for any special occasion. Everyone was very comfortable there, and we had ages 8 to 92 sstaying with us!

Really fun house to stay in. My wife, adult kids, and I enjoyed all the amenities and especially liked the outdoor areas with various places to hang out. The hosts obviously took meticulous care to craft such interesting areas in and around the house. The basement and arcade room were a blast too except my daughter destroyed me repeatedly in the Marvel game and Dig Dug LOL. I got her in Galaga though. Easy to hang out at the house and be tempted to not go anywhere else.

We had an amazing time for my birthday getaway. The only downside was that the power went out for quite a while due to the high winds but they delivered some flashlights for us in no time! This home is so beautiful- words can not describe. I definitely want to stay here again.

This place was super super awesome! I didn't realize that there were only 3 bedrooms, but there was definitely space for a lot of people to sleep *if you're okay with sharing beds*. 3 bedrooms, two full sized beds in the basement with pull out beds beneath. I feel like there may have even been two other pull out couches? But our group didn't need them so we didn't bother looking for them. For a close group of friends/family, totally perfect! The vibes were immaculate. We had everything we needed. Would definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay! Eight of us stayed at the house for the weekend and we had additional guests over one day to celebrate grandmas 88th birthday! The kids loved the arcade games and popcorn machine and the adults made use of the numerous patio spaces outdoors.

This place was amazing. Definitely the most interesting place I have ever stayed! The decor was eclectic and fun, the beds were super comfortable, very clean and inviting! We arrived and they had the fireplace going for us! Such a nice touch. Sadly, I was there for my father’s funeral but this vrbo was so welcoming, we all felt at peace. Thank you!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Sedona house in Rockford! The home was beautifully decorated, and had such a warm, welcoming vibe. Everything we needed was provided, from a well-stocked kitchen to cozy linens, and the thoughtful touches made it feel extra special. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing, and the location was convenient for getting around town. Great Trip!

We had a small friends get-together for a birthday party and really enjoyed the property. The outdoor spaces are excellent and fit a group of 6-8 well. The arcade was a fun touch!

The Sedona house is a vibe!

My mom and I spent Mother’s Day here and had a wonderful time! This property is super unique and literally feels like another world! Super clean and everything you could need to feel right at home! Super close and convenient everything as well and the host was so friendly. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

My husband Charlie and I have four children, and two grandchildren. Aside from my family, I love creativity and beauty! Working with my team on this property and creating this sanctuary in the city has been one of my most rewarding journeys to date. I am a retired DCFS master trainer. Prior to that, my sculptures were to be found in many of the local stores and businesses including the lobbies of the Old Clock Tower resort. It has been my good fortune to have traveled extensively here and abroad over the years. This Spanish style home is reminiscent of what I have seen with pargeted embellishments and walls that could tell many tales. My vision is to see this, 'The Sedona of Rockford' as a Beacon of Light that inspires us all!

This property is a hidden treasure that has remained elusive to everyone I know. Its uniqueness to this part of the country is unparalleled in my view. It has been my honor to be able to bring it as they say, to the rainbow. We are all blessed.

What makes this property unique

My team and I have gone to great lengths in creating a seclusive environment. Close the gates behind you upon entering and you feel as though you are no longer in the city, but rather in the heart of another place and another time. Due to my sense of wishing for others the experience of the extraordinary, at every turn a flair of Funk along with tradition will be found.
