Wonderful Stay!

The owner, Phillip, was wonderful. He was helpful and attentive but at the same time very laid back. We loved all the little extras like hot chocolate for the kids and movie snacks that were provided. The arcade and pool were so much fun. The pool was nice and warm! Everything was clean and organized for our stay. It was the perfect family get away and we are all looking forward to our next visit!

Perfect Family Celebration Home

The home was a perfect place for us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. It allowed us to stay close to home for youth who had summer jobs, plus gave us all plenty of great entertainment to keep each of us engaged. We loved the hot tub, pool, game room, and movie theatre. The house was absolutely perfect. We stayed for a long weekend over the 4th of July holiday with three other families. We were close enough to amenities if/when we needed them, but had absolutely no reasons to leave the property - so much to do for everyone. The owner was wonderful to engage with, he was even able to supply wheelchair ramps to make the home more assessable for someone in our group who has a disability. We are already talking about booking again next year!

Wonderful quick getaway

We had a wonderful weekend with our kids and my sister’s family and my dad. The kids loved the pool which was clean and well stocked with pool floaties. The teens and even the adults loved the arcade room and that kept them busy for hours. The kitchen was well-stocked with all that we needed to make meals for our group for the weekend. We also enjoyed that each bed had different firmness levels so we could choose our preferred softness. Quiet neighborhood that is close to restaurants and grocery stores to make meal planning very easy.

Great getaway weekend from Chicago

We had a blast! Phil was so nice and helpful - he even brought us a huge array of amazing desserts on our last night, and that was in addition to all the surprise treats my kids adored finding when we arrived. We had so much fun between the pool, hot tub, home theater, and insanely large arcade, that we only left the house to eat out for dinner. With it being only an hour and change from Chicago, we will definitely be back for more fun-filled weekends!

I cannot express enough what an amazing trip we had, more like a journey. The home was so much more than we expected! Super clean and modern, comfortable, spacious, decorated straight out of a Pinterest photo shoot with so many little details! Our host was incredible, on call at a moments notice. Wow! Philip’s home is exactly as pictured and so very clean. Good times we’re had by all and the thoughtful touches throughout the home were very much appreciated. From the beautiful holiday decorations to the stockings for the kids to the surprise food and drinks gifted for our stay. It's a dream

Can't say enough good things about this property. We had two families (4 and 5, all kids under 8) and it was the first relaxing trip I think we've had since the kids have been born because there was SO much to do. Also, having the pool set with a lock gave me peace of mind, and the arcade in a separate space was great to have it out of the way for when it was time to take a break. The rooms were far enough apart that everyone had space but could gather together for meals and hanging out. The property is so clean and has everything you need, with lots of little touches (my toddler loved the chocolates by the bed side tables as he swiped nearly all of them...so he also had his best vacation ever). Can't wait to head back!

Spectacular!

We've stayed at many rentals, and this one takes the cake. This entire home is immaculate and gorgeous. Philip thought of every detail: the movie room comes with popcorn and a microwave, as well as a heater/fireplace just in case you get chilly; the bedroom linens are heavenly, especially the pillows; little chocolates by the bed; the outdoor spaces have loads of heaters; the kitchen is thoughtfully and thoroughly stocked; the game room is amazing!! with its own fridge and TV; the pool is perfectly maintained and there's plenty of floaties; the hot tub is basically heaven with bubbles :). We never wanted to leave! I am actually from Rockford originally, and enjoyed the placement of the property in a lovely neighborhood near the highway and close to tons of restaurants and Starbucks. I don't have a single complaint to list, except that it seems to be booking up fast! If you're lucky enough to snag some dates, you won't regret it.
