Lovely home!
We loved the house and the overall environment of Lanark Village! The house was perfect for everything we needed and lent itself well to cooking meals for all of us. It was about a 10-minute drive from the beach and Carabellas itself is not super walkable. The recommendations we got were super helpful and made our trip! Thank you for a great stay!
The property and house are beautiful. The house is fully equipped with everything you will need. Many places to relax and sit outside to enjoy the weather. Close to the beaches and places to visit. The property manager is very good at communicating and giving directions/instructions to make your stay very easy and relaxing. Definitely will be back!
In the village itself some of the units are not well maintained. Ours was maintained. But access to the Carrabella beach was very close, and dog friendly!! Best overall grocery shopping was in Crawfordsville, about a 35 minute drive. Good restaurants in surrounding areas.
Clean complex and wonderful communication with host.
House is part of old barricks. Interesting to see how these homes where set up and to learn their history. Was very quiet and nice quiet walking area. Kitchen well supplied with everything we needed.
Nice patio and screened in porch. Neighbors very friendly.
Was surprised to have the washer and dryer outside of the house but it worked out okay.
Host was great to getting back to us promptly with any questions we had. Appreciated how helpful she was.

Bonnie thank you for staying at Gone Fishing and for your kind review. The renovated officer barracks are smaller in size, so putting the full size washer and dryer outside in an enclosed metal box reclaims valuable living space inside for a 6 person dining room table and chairs. So glad you enjoyed your stay and come back again soon.
The cottage was just delightful. It was well maintained and immaculate. The decor was very "beachy" and fun. Every room in the home was well maintained and organized to meet every need. Very well equipped kitchen and bath. In sum, it reflects true pride of ownership. The owner was a delight to work with with. All communications were timely and clear. Lots of useful information about local area was provided and was all "spot-on." If you are visiting the the area you would be hard pressed to find a more pleasant overall experience. Our thanks to the owner for a nice memory!
The property was perfect for our needs and in the perfect location for us to go wherever we needed or wanted . the house was very clean, well outfitted and had the perfect coastal vibe . The property manager Marlinda was so amazing with communication checking to make sure we arrived and everything was ok the amount of information she sends you with check-in information is so above and far beyond what most would do it gives you the feeling not only does she care about her community but also cares about your stay and comfort . tips from local scenery and stops to some of the most amazing food . I would give this property and its manager 10 stars but it only allowed for five . such a great experience hope to come again soon .

This property had a lot to offer during stay. The inside was clean, and had all that's needed for a short or extended stay. Outside the patio fire pit area is set up really cool for a nice place to hang out. Lots to offer here!
This house was perfect! It was clean, well stocked , and beachy! We had everything we needed plus!
Close to Carabelle beach, St. George Island but far enough away from the crowds. It was a pleasure to stay here. Very comfortable and plenty of room for our family plus little pup. Our host was super and our experience was wonderful! Will definitely be back! We loved the extras like the screened in porch and outdoor shower. Kitchen had everything we needed and the dining room table was great for family breakfast time. Great yard, great patio, close parking. Loved everything about it!
The house was clean and well kept. Fully stocked. The beds were super comfy and the location to the dock was great!! I would definitely stay here agai!
Hello I am a house flipper and animal lover! I love to make a space cozy and relaxing. I love to take a property and bring out all the potential it has to offer for me and my guests. You will feel like you are home but Better. I strive to provide touches that add function, design and comfort to all the spaces. I always design with the human occupants in mind. Although I must say I think of our dog families as well. I hope you enjoy staying in my homes as much as I do. :-)
