The home was well furnished with all essentials. The check in and out instructions were very clear. Small details were thought of. It was beautiful cabin and the environment was very peaceful.

The home is very spacious & in a great location, right on the lake. Low lake traffic & surrounded by mature trees that offer privacy. Just a short drive to anything you may need (groceries, restaurants, shopping, etc).

The cabin is perfect for the 4 couples in our family. Was very clean and comfortable. The remodeled kitchen was a great and beautiful surprise. This is our second time renting this house and have already reserved it again for next year. The dock and lake were a great place to hang out. Staying in this house is an excellent experience .

BEAUTIFUL HOUSE ON THE LAKE

The Property is spacious and having all king beds in 4 bedrooms was perfect for our family. We spent almost everyday on the lake that is feet away. Will stay again!!

We had a great time on the lake location is always key and this place was close to everything. Quiet and cute house with enough room for all of us.

Everything was great, beautiful and clean property. The only thing missing was coffee. We usually pack our own, but coffee on site would have been a game changer.

My only concern with kids and dogs swimming is that it is a very busy area of the lake and it was necessary to stay close to the doc when swimming due to boat traffic

Beautiful Lake Property

House was clean and well equipped. Very comfortable for a family of 4 and 2 dogs. Close to Blue Ridge, Helen, McCaysville; all fun little towns to visit. Lake was quiet neighbors were very friendly! Lots to do!!

The property itself sits beautifully on the Lake. We did bring our dogs to roam around the large top deck. I was surprised there were no gates on the decks. The dogs took off. I just assumed it was gated. Never assume. I really thought the house needed a really deep clean. The decks needed pressure washing and the windows were very dirty. I think a few more supplies could have been bought. We had 1 roll of paper towel. Even a roll of aluminum foil would have been helpful. No tissues at all.

Pure Pleasure on the Lake

Overall experience was really excellent. The 6 of us could not have enjoyed our stay more! The property is adequately clean. We greatly appreciated the fully equipped kitchen. The expansive back porch was immensely enjoyed every morning & every evening! Communications from “Escape to Blue Ridge” (the managing Vrbo company) were very much appreciated! Issues were responded to very quickly! We hope to return again!

Birthday Bash

We gathered for a family celebration of an 80-year-old. The cabin was the perfect setting, so we could all stay together, but still have a quiet spot for each to go in the evening. Scenery was beautiful. Everyone said we should come back again next year. I bet it would be even more beautiful in the summer (our celebration was in December). We were also very impressed that we could call customer service and get a real and friendly person on the phone. Great place to stay!

Beautiful location on lake

The home and dock were well maintained. Everything was dusty. We had to purchase a mop to clean before we stayed there. A large cleaning fee is included with the booking so not sure why we had to also clean. There is no way to walk your own canoe down to the water and that was disappointing.

Unfortunate choice

Overall house maintenance is poor. Lower level john constantly running. Another John had gurgled which might be a sign of septic maintenance needed. There were abundance of ants everywhere on deck, deck furniture and stairs, even coming into the cabin. To the point of not being able to enjoy the deck. If we stood still long enough ants were crawling on us. The decks and driveway (front door area) were full of pollen and tree debris as well upon arrival. Mold in bathroom grout on lower level. Debris under beds and vanities. For the amount of fuss made over who was occupying the house, wanting names, ages etc, I expected something great and unfortunately was disappointed.
