A wonderful and relaxing stay

Five of us stayed for two weeks and we had a great time. The house and gardens are beautiful and are exactly as described (if not better). The hosts, Carine and Cyril, were extremely friendly and helpful whenever needed and we found ourselves chatting via a translation app as our French was not good and they don't speak English, but it wasn't a problem. The property literally has everything you could possibly want or need, even a crepe maker, and more coffee machines than you'll ever use. The grounds are really well kept and the pool was wonderful and there are plenty of shady spots should you want them. There were plenty of games to keep both young and old occupied with a pool table, table tennis, table hockey and foosball table, to name but a few. The property is remote but not too far from Auvillar, a lovely village, but you do need a car for any trips off the property, but as a relaxing spot to unwind it was great. We would thoroughly recommend.

Perfect

The property is every bit as nice as the pictures, if not nicer. The rooms are spacious, the whole house feels huge. The pool is beautiful and feels extravagant when it's all there just for you. The owners are lovely and helpful and very unobtrusive. They live on site but if you didn't seek them out, you wouldn't see them (although they did kindly pop round a couple of times with beautiful fruit from the garden!). The property is entirely fenced so our dog could run loose. It was incredibly hot when we visited so she liked to spend most of the day lying on the cool tiles in the house but would pop out now and then to visit us by the pool or to lie in the shade there for a while. The property is secure and safe and quiet. The local town has some lovely restaurants and a fabulous tourist office. The kitchen has everything you need and a huge fridge. No air con but lots of fans in the rooms and massive TVs. We had a beautifully lazy holiday and can't wait to go back again. There were a lot of mosquitoes and next time we'll take more repellent with us but you get that everywhere - just one of those things that you forget in your excitement about going somewhere hot! We're definitely planning to return. One of the best places we've ever stayed.

Great location, beautiful grounds

We had a warm welcome from the owners - who live on the property but in a secluded area, so only minimal interaction with them. Grounds are immaculately landscaped, the pool is brilliant. Indoors, the kitchen is super equipped. Bedrooms are spacious with loads of storage. There is a game room complete with a pool table. Fast Wifi, flat screens tv in all rooms and kitchen. It is a great place to stay, with plenty incredibles villages around to visit. Two things you may want to know: First, this is rented as a "gîte": most of the time, gîtes are far more basic than this one, which is top rated (4 stars) in the gîte system. Therefore, people who rent them tend to "know the drill" and they bring all of their basics - including your olive oil, washing powder, bed sheets and all, think of it as a apartment rental, you only get a starter kit. All this to say that you may be surprised to be charged for some extras e.g. extra bed sheets, but this is simply how the system works. Read the rental agreement and don't hesitate to ask what you can bring and what is supplied. Second, from 7PM onwards, mosquitoes are on the hunt. This is true just about everywhere in Southern Europe, so don't forget to pack your mozzie repellent. Owners were very attentive, this is a lovely region that's not too touristy. We had a great time

Grosse déception !!!!!

Véritable cauchemar / vous cherchez le calme à la campagne, impossible ici à moins de 100m de l’autoroute, hors sur l’annonce « au calme precisé». A cela nos hôtes nous répondent ;c’est le progrès, mettez boules quies ou musique. // ce n’est pas le domaine des oiseaux mais Le domaine des moustiques. Phrase d’accueil : « on n’accueille jamais le dimanche » // chien du propriétaire qui aboit des8h, odeur de tabac froid provenant de l’habitation des propriétaires donc pas seuls dans cette location; nids d’abeilles à 10cm de la fenêtre de la chambre de notre fils . On nous répond : « Je ne ferai rien, elles ne sont pas dangereuses. » // hôte de mauvaise fois, ayant d’après eux toujours raison, disponible qu’après leur sieste // énormément d’interdictions: ne pas utiliser machine à laver et lave linge en même temps car risque de fuite ; ne pas allumer la lumière ; ne pas utiliser table de Ping pong car elle risque de s’écrouler // une seule clef disponible ; de lourdes chaînes aux grilles donnant accès à la maison : on s’est senti mal à l’aise et comme emprisonné et pris au piège . // à notre départ, après l’état des lieux de la maison , qui était parfait; ils nous demandent de payer un globe lumineux défectueux de la piscine ou de faire jouer notre assurance pour le remplacer. Nous ne l’avions jamais vu des deux semaines. C’est totalement monté de toutes pièces et totalement faux. Nous ne sommes pas des pigeons. Abritel merci de vérifier vos critères pour cette location.

Une île de paix près de la Garonne

Hôtes très sympathiques avec des bon conseils pour la région. La propriété est magnifique, avec beaucoup de couleurs venant des très belles fleurs dans le jardin. La piscine est parfaitement située au sien des fleurs est à côté du magnifique pigeonnier. Le gîte est très bien équipé, et les chambres sont grandes et bien décorées. La salle de jeux est aussi très bien équipée: nos adolescents et nous se sont bien amusés! Merci à Carine et Cyril!

Fantastische plek

Het huis en de omgeving is exact hetzelfde als op de foto's, prachtig! Erg veel ruimte binnen en buiten tot je beschikking. Overal is voor gezorgd en er zijn genoeg spelletjes aanwezig. Aan het zwembad is het net een klein paradijs, keurig schoon en heerlijk water. Deze plek is echt een aanrader!

Domaine très agréable

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine entre amis dans ce domaine. Jardin magnifique avec de nombreux espaces ombragés pour se (re)poser. Agréable maison familiale

Belle propriété où tout est prévu pour passer un séjour agréable, entre la piscine, le baby-foot ou la table de ping-pong, pas le temps de s’ennuyer ! Les gérants sont accueillants, sympathiques, et a l’écoute. Nous les remercions vivement. Nous recherchions un endroit où nous reposer cet été et le Domaine a répondu en tous points à notre souhait ! Superbe maison très confortable en pleine nature

La maison est superbe ainsi que le jardin. Les équipements sont en excellent état voir neufs et très très complets ( cuisine avec tout le matériel pour faire de la vraie cuisine, jeux pour les enfants et les plus grands : jeux de société ping-pong babyfoot gonflables pour la piscine piscine billard balançoire) des télévisons grand écran dans les chambres, lecteur DVD et DVD mis à disposition. De nombreux espaces dans le jardin pour les apéritifs et repas. La maison se situe dans un domaine privé. La région est très belle avec de nombreuses activités disponibles. Les propriétaires ont été d’une très grande gentillesse et très attentionnés avec nous et disponibles. Nous recommandons vivement cette belle maison dans son havre de paix.
