Built in 2019, this open and spacious mountain modern 3bd/3ba home is beautifully furnished and has everything you will need. Enjoy amazing views from a sunny patio surrounded by the Gore Range and Ptarmigan Peak. Located in the gorgeous Summit Sky Ranch Resort with access to all the amenities: outdoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, gym, yoga room, hiking trails, private Blue River fishing, the Aspen House and Lake House with sandy beach, paddle boarding. A short drive to several world-class ski resorts. We welcome you to enjoy our cabin!

This beautiful mountain modern home is 2,150 square feet of open-concept living space including 2 spacious living areas -- plenty of room to spread out! Gather upstairs around a roaring fire, or chill downstairs and watch a Netflix movie in our media room. No detail has been overlooked to make your stay comfortable, including radiant heat flooring through the entire house. The open concept kitchen, living and dining area is ideally designed for hosting large groups. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including upgraded Bosch stainless steel appliances for the chef in your group. The main level has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, and a spacious en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower, double vanity and toasty heated tile floors. The guest bedroom has a modern queen sized bed and a full bath with a bathtub/shower combo and heated tile floors.

The spacious lower level has a third bedroom with a queen-over-queen bunk bed, and a full bath with a walk-in shower (and toasty heated tile floors!). Also the lower level has a media room with a queen size pull out sectional sofa and a giant 70” flat screen TV complete with Comcast TV cable, high speed internet, and Netflix included. The mudroom and laundry room have plenty of storage for all your gear. Finally, a two-car garage has heated floors so your car will be warm and snow free when you head out on your adventures!

Take advantage of the outdoors and Rocky Mountain views on our spacious entertaining patio. You will enjoy the dining under the beautiful covered patio, and utilizing the gas grill to BBQ your meal; or just sitting around the fire pit and roasting S’mores!

Our cabin is located in the new Summit Sky Ranch Resort community, less than five miles north of the town of Silverthorne. No matter what time of the year you visit Summit Sky Ranch, there is always something wonderful to do! Winters bring world class skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding. Spring is a perfect time for fishing on our private section of the world class Blue River. Summer explodes with activities from biking, hiking, sailing, SUPing, free concerts, art shows, golf at the adjacent Raven Golf Course, fishing, shopping or fine dining in Breckenridge! Fall brings the beautiful colors of Summit County's aspen glow -- a great time to get out into nature and explore!

Guests at Summit Sky have access to a variety of Summit Sky amenities including the private hiking trails, private fishing waters on the Blue River, and the Aspen House with outdoor heated pool, two hot tubs and an outdoor fire pit. And now enjoy the summers at our NEW Lake House with a beach, hot tubs, fire pit, paddle boards, kayaks, BBQ and kitchen.

NOTE: There are currently some hour restrictions on usage of the Aspen House and Pool to balance crowd size. Available pool hours:

Monday–Friday: 10AM– 7PM
Saturday: 9AM– 2PM
Sunday: 2PM – 7PM

We enjoyed our first stay at Summit Sky Ranch! The community is fantastic, and the house was a perfect base camp for enjoying the area, nearby resort towns Vail and Breckenridge, as well as a welcome retreat, at the end of our busy days. We appreciated the ease of checking in and the handy restaurant guides. The property had everything we needed and more, which made getting out and having fun just that much easier!

Starr Cabin was Fabulous

Starr Cabin was everything one would want in an absolutely beautiful setting in the mountains! Amenities were complete, including a well stocked kitchen, pack n play crib and high chair for our granddaughter, games, and outdoor activity supplies. The host was very responsive to questions and surprised us with a gift of s'mores to roast over the outdoor fire pit with the kids. Starr "Cabin" is more like a luxurious getaway and we had a wonderful time.

Our family had a TERRIFIC time at the Starr cabin. Debi and Brian made sure that no detail was overlooked in making our family vacation a truly enjoyable experience. The home was spotless, location was great and amenities were splendid. Every member of our family totally enjoyed our stay at the cabin. If you are looking for a great home to stay at in Silverthorne this is it! We would give it 10 stars if we could. A true gem.

Everything about our stay was amazing! The property is in such a scenic area and is a quick drive into town. My group of 8 had plenty of space and we really enjoyed all of the amenities, as well as being able to use the community hot tub (make sure to call and reserve prior to arriving because the timeslots filled up quickly). On top of the awesome house - Debi was the all star of the weekend! Our flights got canceled before a massive snowstorm and she was beyond kind and tried to help us come up with options of what we could do if her next visitor couldn't move their travel plans. It was much appreciated and made us feel so much better about being stuck! Thank you Debi, we will definitely be back!!

An incredible summer stay

We did an extended stay at the Starr Cabin during the summer and had an incredible time. The home is clean, functional, and perfectly stocked for everything you need for a family with children. The community is lovely and the Aspen house and Lake house are wonderful amenities. The property managers have done a great job describing the house in the listing and they were extremely responsive both leading up to and during our stay when we had questions. We Will definitely consider the Starr Cabin for our next trip to Summit County.

Beautiful mountain home

We stayed at this property over Christmas break. The house is beautiful, and was perfect for our family of six plus two grandparents. Lots of attention to detail, including nice touches like a fresh bag of Starbucks Christmas coffee sitting out for us to use, s’mores supplies, a decorated Christmas tree, etc. we especially appreciated the heated garage with high ceiling that accommodated our SUV with a roof-mounted luggage carrier. We enjoyed snowshoeing on the trails that were a short walk from the back porch. Having a separate living space for the kids to watch movies separately from the adults was also a nice feature. Beautiful Mountain Views and a great location convenient to shopping and sports activities. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Fall Weekend at Summit Sky

The Starr Cabin is perfect. We had everything we needed and more. Summit Sky Ranch has so much to offer for a family vacation including disc golf, hiking trails and a beautiful Aspen House with the outdoor pool and hot tubs. We love this location we are grateful to the Starrs for their hospitality.

Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Star Cabin! The home is brand new and super clean. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you could need on your stay. Though CV-19 limited our access to the Aspen House, you can easily reserve your times for pool and spa fun. We were very satisfied with our stay, and will likely book again for the winter season too!

We moved to Colorado 10 years ago from California, and fell completely in love with the Rocky Mountains! We had been looking for a second home for years until we found Summit Sky Ranch which has a resort like amenities as well as being wonderfully located in Summit County. We enjoy hiking, skiing, biking and traveling all over the world!
