Welcome to your Tahoe getaway at this family-friendly, recently remodeled three-story condo located in Northstar Resort, just a short shuttle ride from the Northstar Gondola and Village. No need to battle parking—getting to the slopes, skating rink, dining, and shops is easy and stress-free.

The home features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, with the option to host 1 additional guest using a portable fold-away bed. Parking is simple, with space for up to two vehicles just steps from the front door.

First Floor – Comfortable Sleeping & Easy Living

The ground-level entrance opens to two bedrooms with queen beds and a recently upgraded full bathroom. Heated porcelain tile floors keep the space warm and cozy—especially nice after a long day outdoors—without needing to run the heater overnight.

The durable tile flooring also makes this a pet-friendly home, welcoming up to two dogs or cats (maximum 75 lbs each).

A washer and dryer are conveniently located in the hallway under the stairs, making it easy to keep clothes, towels, and gear fresh during your stay. Two fold-away beds are stored in the downstairs primary bedroom closet for additional sleeping flexibility.

Step outside to the private first-floor balcony and enjoy peaceful views of snow-dusted pines—perfect for morning coffee or winding down in the evening.

Second Floor – Gather, Cook & Relax Together

The second floor is the heart of the home and designed for families and groups to relax together. The living room features a granite stone gas fireplace with a sitting ledge and a deep, comfortable sofa ideal for movie nights or quiet evenings in.

The dining area seats six and sits next to the entertainment center with a flat-screen TV and high-speed Wi-Fi.

The fully upgraded kitchen is well equipped for anything from quick breakfasts to full family dinners. It includes modern stainless-steel appliances such as a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and a convection oven with baking settings. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, serving ware, dinnerware, basic pantry items, and multiple coffee options—including a traditional coffee maker, K-cup machine, espresso maker, and milk foamer.

Step onto the second-floor balcony and enjoy the gas barbecue grill, perfect for grilling meals after a day on the mountain.

Third Floor – Private Primary Suite

The entire third floor is dedicated to a spacious primary suite featuring a king-size bed and its own flat-screen TV. A freestanding wardrobe and dresser provide ample storage for longer stays.

A bonus vanity area with sink and mirror allows for makeup or grooming while the bathroom is in use. The newly upgraded full bathroom and heated floors throughout the suite make nighttime comfort especially pleasant.

Guests have easy access—via nearby trails or a short drive—to the local recreation center (daily fee: $5 per person), which includes heated pools, hot tubs, sauna, fitness equipment, arcade games, massage services, and more.

Northstar gem!

We enjoyed our week at this nicely renovated Gold Bend condo. The condo was comfortable, well-stocked with everything we needed and close to Northstar village. It also had easy access to parking, which is a plus in Gold Bend! We would stay here again next time we're in north Tahoe.

Fantastic condo

We were looking to getaway for the week and had stumble upon this condo. This condo is beautiful and had everything we needed for our getaway. Clean, stylish, comfortable and modern. There were snacks available and all sorts of coffees for your liking. There was an extra foldaway bed which was really nice because we didn't have to worry about sharing. The host responded quickly to my messages. The downside was making reservations for the pool instead of being able to go when we pleased but it wasn't a deal breaker. The host even thought about your four legged friends; water bowl, pee pads and a bed. Golf course nearby if your a golfer. Along with many nearby hiking trails. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, amazing location & host!

This house is in an amazing location. Access to shuttle is very easy and it is a super quick ride to Northstar. Ardy is an amazing host and was very responsive to all of our questions and keeps the house well stocked. Check-out and check-in was super simple. A couple notes for families staying: There is a sledding hill behind the house and a couple sleds to use on property, but because of the high snow covering the walkway we unfortunately could not easily access the hill. The pool and hot tub facility is very nice - 3 large hot tubs and a well heated pool (and you can BYOB!). However, it is on Northstar property and was a little difficult to find. They have parking specifically for the rec center (not sure if they charge for it?) right next to where you park to ski. We decided to go directly after skiing and shuttle home so did not park. During peak times (beginning or end of day) the shuttle would not drop us off or pick up directly at the rec center due to high traffic, so we had to walk from transit stop through village to get there (a short walk, but again difficult to find the first time). They also raised their visitor rates to $10 per person & charged $2 per towel, so a little pricey for our short 30-minute stay in the hot tub. Overall, great and convenient property. Would definitely stay here again!

We arrived to the condo and the power was out for a few hours and randomly throughout the night due to a fallen tree close by. Owners were helpful and communicative. Connected us to the local contact too. Condo was clean and exactly what we needed. Came stocked with some simple kitchen supplies, too. Shuttle service made it easy to get to the mountain.

The hosts have thought of every detail to truly host you at this property. I could not have been more impressed. Shuttle to the lifts was convenient, easy loading and unloading with parking right out front, we even found quick access to hiking trails for Fido to get his exercise. Highly recommend these hosts and this location.

Nice Place with Thoughtful Extras

Very nice condo, stylish, cozy, and comfortable. It was the perfect amount of space for our family of 4, nice separation of space with 2 bedrooms on the lower level, master bedroom on top and the living area in between. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was quiet, we all slept well. Unexpected, thoughtful touches like coffee/espresso pods, milk frothers, a few drinks, snacks, and even slippers were a definite bonus! Great location for getting out on the slopes with the shuttle so close by. The kitchen is nice but a little limited if you want to do much cooking. There's a nice cooktop but no oven, only a countertop toaster oven. The pans and utensils are pretty basic and they only plastic wine & water glasses. May want to bring your own if you want to make sure you have what you need. The living area is very cozy with the fireplace, big couch and nice large screen TV for movie watching. Enjoy!

We are a skiing couple who appreciate modern living and convenient access to the slopes. We found ourselves trying to procure decent lodging every winter at Tahoe to enjoy our favorite ski resort Northstar. When 5078 Gold Bend became available, we took a leap and made our winter vacation dream home tangible. After renovating the space into a modern mountain cozy lodge, we wanted to share our vision of a comfortable Tahoe experience.

This condo reflects a modern but comfortable zen vibe. Each feature was upgraded for a functional improvement. The materials were chosen with a design eye to reflect and accentuate the natural beauty of the Tahoe forests. Every item was chosen to aide in relaxation after a long sporty day outside. This is not just a rental to spend your Tahoe weekend nights, but a warm welcoming space you can relax in with full amenities for an entire week. Enjoy both the outdoor and the indoor beauty of Tahoe at 5078 Gold Bend.

What makes this property unique

There are many unique benefits throughout the property like hidden gems.

** Each bed has a new semi-firm mattress and four pillows with adjustable motorized frame.
** The toilet paper holders in each bathroom are easy to slip replacement rolls on (or off!) and have a cell phone friendly ledge on top.
** Each nightstand has a charge center to ensure all your devices get re-charged while you sleep.
** The main entertainment center and dining table both have conveniently located power strips to plug in devices or additional items.
** LED lights throughout the condo ensure a well lit and spacious feel.
** Privacy film has been added to the front door glass for privacy and eliminating head light glare into the condo.
** The convection oven has many settings including baking a pizza or cookies/cupcakes with your loved ones.

Our favorite spots are sitting on the ledge by the gas fire, falling asleep on the oversize couch, and grilling outside on the balcony when snow flurries are falling.
