Our Kenai Riverside gem, the Lynx Cottage, offers deluxe accommodations just steps away from the stunning Kenai River - the perfect location for your Alaska vacation. Nestled on the banks of the turquoise-colored Kenai River, this tranquil setting is the perfect home away from home, conveniently located in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula. From your private “basecamp,” you can explore the local area by foot, raft or fishing boat - or venture on day trips to Seward and Homer before returning to your cozy home.

This two bedroom, one bath timber frame cottage is perfect for a family or two couples. The Cottage sleeps 4 to 6 with a sleeper sofa and fresh linens provided.

The main living space boasts large windows with excellent views of the property’s wooded, riverside location, along with a full kitchen set-up suitable for any home chef. Make the most of the spectacular natural setting located just outside the front door, with a charming porch and comfy outdoor seating.

Beautiful place and enjoyed our stay. We arrived later in the evening, a roll of paper towels would have been nice or towels for the kitchen and coffee for the morning. Directions to lock the doors while inside the house and the tv.

Beautiful home

The construction of this home is stunning. Solid wood doors, hardwood floors, custom finish work. Location is really good, unable to see the river from inside the house but the property is river side. Beds were uncomfortable which surprised us but everything else was very nice.

Beautiful cottage but a bit misleading.

This is a very well-built, very clean and well-maintained place to stay. It was a little disappointing that it says it’s riverfront. You are actually on a slough off the river that can’t be seen at all from the property. If you walk to the edge of the driveway you can see part of the slough or if you walk farther up another driveway onto the adjacent properties you can see the river. This is very close to the Sterling Highway, traffic noise is loud when sitting out on the porch. You can’t hear it inside the house at all. It’s very quiet and well built. It’s a beautiful rental overall . It was well furnished and had all the basics. If you are wanting true riverfront and wanting to fish or enjoy the view from your rental, this is not for you.

Its a super place - wish there was another bathroom and wish it'd been cleaner but its super nice and well located to all spots in Cooper. Worked well for 4 of us and a baby.
