I rented this for my mother as we were staying down the road at a local campground. The cabin turned out to be her favorite part of the trip! Perfect little location, tucked in close to the water and with a great host to top it off!

Stunning view
I stayed in Black Bear cabin with my 2 grown children for 2 days while visiting the Seward area. During our vacation, we also stayed in Talkeetna and Denali areas. All were beautiful but Cooper's landing was our favorite. We spent a lot of time on the small floating dock right on the Kenai.
The owner and property manager was very available for any concern
I highly recommend this property

Lovely View
Accommodations were very nice with a spectacular front window view. Rob, the on-site manager, was quick to respond and came over in person to answer questions about the area.
This was our first time ever in Alaska and this cabin is perfectly located to explore the surrounding areas of Cooper Landing, Seward, and Homer. The beautiful turquoise Kenai river is right behind us and we were able to see rafters and fishing groups pass by. Will definitely be a stop we'll make in future visits.
Nice quiet cabins located right on the bank of the Kenai River. The cabin has everything needed for a relaxing stay - full kitchen- grill - full bathroom- comfortable beds - and fantastic view. Love the covered fire pit!!! Rob is a great guy - checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. He loaned us a landing net which we really needed this year because the water is higher than usual

Extraordinary in Every Way
This perfectly sized cabin for two (with a pullout couch in the living area if needed) is well located right next to the Kenai River. The property is very well landscaped and has a roomy floating dock right below the cabin. Bald eagles outnumber tourists and we spent many an hour relaxing on the very comfortable furniture in the living room, looking out the large picture windows and watching the world go by on the river. The bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need (it was better equipped than our kitchen at home).
Amber, the Owner, is extremely helpful and responsive; Rob, the on-site Property Manager is very welcoming and helpful and kindly lent us two cannisters of bear spray for our stay - they are a great team.
We highly recommend this property; in fact, we enjoyed our one week stay so much, we are already planning our return visit!
Wonderful week in this cabin. It had everything we needed to relax and get away from the stress of daily life. The view from all sides is great, but especially from the backyard with the river and mountains right there. It was quiet and comfortable with the heat working well and plenty of hot water. Getting over to Soldotna and Homer was enjoyable as the drive was so scenic. Everywhere in the Kenai Peninsula is like a Bob Ross painting. Access to Cooper Lake and Rainbow Lake was easy and the central location of Cooper Landing makes it a good home base for getting around the area. We didn’t want to leave. Rob was very helpful and friendly too.
The best part of this cute little cabin is its location. You are right on the Kenai River. As you look out the picture windows it is like watching a river movie. The water is beautiful!!
The cabin is set up well if you choose to cook but there are restaurants within easy driving distance and they are pretty good.
Amber’s communication is superb!! She gave us many ideas for fishing guides & also a drifting river float. Loved both of them.
I would definitely stay here again.
A plus, Rob the caretaker is on property if you have an issue but he doesn’t bug you.
Our stay at this cabin was simple amazing and a lot of that was thanks to our wonderful host and property manager, Rob who was very helpful. From the moment we booked, Amber was quick to reach out with helpful tips and suggestions, making us feel welcome even before we arrived. The cabin itself was everything we could have hoped for, cozy, clean and perfectly situated with breathtaking views of the kenai river. We spent countless hours just soaking in the scencery, especially from the dock which became our favorite outdoor space. Whenever we had a question or needed anything during our stay, the host and Rob responded almost immediately. It truly felt like they cared about our experience, which made our stay even more special. The combination of the stunning location and the host’s attentiveness made this getaway we’ll never forget. We can’t wait to come back.

The Black Bear cabin is magical
My husband and I stayed in the Black Bear cabin last weekend, and LOVED it. We can't wait to book it again. It is so perfect! RIGHT on the beautiful Kenai River, you can sit on the couch inside the cabin and look right at the river and mountains on the other side of the river. Or sit on the deck or at the picnic table overlooking the river for coffee in the morning. The cabin is furnished with lovely pieces.. live edge tables, pretty AND comfortable couch and chair. The bed is great. She has blackout curtains on all the windows, which is nice. And, the dock is so fun! We bought a trout rod at Troutfitters nearby. We didn't catch anything, but a guy on one of the guided tours caught a nice fish right in front of us, from a boat.
Fantastic place! Can't wait to go back.

Perfect Alaska Getaway
We have unforgettable memories of our time at Black Bear Cabin. It's location is perfect for fishing the Kenai River or visiting the Kenai peninsula. We will never forget the soothing view from the cabin living room overlooking the greeny-blue waters of the Kenai River. Highly recomended
Great property with an unbelievable view! Rob the caretaker was great for any needs that we had! He helped us with directions and great ideas of things to do! The host was great with her communication!
Our stay was perfect. The cozy cabin was exactly what we had in mind for the two of us, and right on the beautiful Kenai river. Communication was just right, and Rob was excellent with recommendations and hospitality. We couldn't be happier and hope to come back again sooner rather than later.
I can’t say enough about this cozy cabin,it has everything you could ask for! Very clean and comfortable great location. I’ve live in Alaska all my life and couldn’t have been more pleased with Black Bear cabin!
This peaceful cabin was exactly what my wife and I were looking for! The Kenai River was just a few steps off the back porch and the view of the river and mountains from the living area was amazing. The on-site property manager came over to greet us when we arrived and that made us feel good knowing he was so close by if we needed anything (which we didn't). We would stay here again if we returned to the area.
