Loved our stay!!

My mom and I stayed at this property for our girl's trip this month. We absolutely loved the property! It was decorated so cute and well stocked. The owners were kind and responsive. The location was fantastic and the pool was a bonus for the days we didn't want to go to the beach. I would highly recommend staying here on your next trip!

Mahalo nui loa for choosing to stay at Hale Honu for your girl's get-a-way to paradise! We are very glad to hear that you loved how it was stocked and decorated, as well as it's location. We often hear how fantastic having the pool (including kiddie pool, hot tub and fitness facility) available for those non-outing moments. We truly enjoyed hosting you and we welcome you to our Hale Honu Ohana. You are certainly welcome back each time you come back to paradise!

1st stay in Kauai

Our unit was amazing, lots of room, everything u can think of was included…bikes, snorkeling gear for 6, beach chairs…kitchen was amazingly well stocked… and even when the ice machine froze up… Michelle came right over and fixed, even dropping off extra ice. Location was great as well.

Super clean and comfortable, fully stocked kitchen equipment. We loved that it was so close to the pool. Best complex in Poipu- all near new construction with high end decor

Wow! We have done so many VRBOs and this one stood out by far! For starters the location is perfect! It’s a nice walk or easy drive (and easy parking) to the beach. We rode the bikes around as well. The hosts Michelle and David have this place literally ready to go. Not only is it decorated super cute but they have thought of everything that one would need on their vacation. They have all the needed beach supplies, bikes, and the house has all the needed amenities. Michelle made the checkin/checkout super easy and so easy to communicate with. We literally have zero complaints. Would definitely book here again.

Felt Like Home

We LOVED this property and all agreed that the photos didn't do it justice. It was beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, and right in the heart of everything that you'd want to do in Poipu. The beds were comfy (even the foldout couch wasn't too bad), and this place literally had anything that'd we'd need to enjoy the island. We would hands down stay here again and just loved our hosts.

We so appreciate the glowing review of you highlighting how much aloha we put into hosting at Hale Honu, and its great location in Po'ipu. We also thank you for mentioning the amenities we provide to our guests. It is our aim to equip all guests with what is not only needed, but desirable for a wonderful stay, whether it's a few days or an entire month. It is great to hear, both publicly and privately, that your whole family enjoyed your stay and that you want to return. Your experience is exactly why we do what we do, and why we love doing it. We are happy to welcome your family to our Hale Honu Ohana, and we will welcome you back each and every time you return to Kaua'i. P.S. The beautiful item your daughter lovingly gifted Hale Honu is now proudly displayed in the living room entertainment center. We are very thankful for her kind and thoughtful heart!

Kauai in January

We had a great time in Kauai! This resort is close to shopping, beaches, and plenty of choices for food...from food trucks to fancy restaurants! We have stayed in Poipu many times but this had to be one of the best hosts we have ever had! From clear communications to even going the extra mile when we had potential issues due to weather from our departure city, they made our stay exceptional. We definitely will be back!

Best hosts ever

This unit was very nice - it had everything you could ever need for a week in Kauai. It was set up to feel like a home. The hosts were the best - they communicated with ideas for things to do on the island shortly after booking. They left fresh fruit on the counter upon arrival and were always available with questions.

Awesome condo

In all our years of traveling, and we travel several times per year, this condo was the best condo we've ever stayed at. The owners David and Michelle were wonderful to work with in that they were very responsive and they've put a lot of effort into stocking the condo with everything you'll need. Many thanks for letting us stay here and providing a place that made our trip even more fantastic!

Celebrate a birthday and long overdue retirement.

We chose Kauai as it was most desirable island for the four of us. Kale Honu met every expectation of staying at a quality condo. We were very pleased with the complex and the amenities. The owners were over the top accommodating. Michelle and Dave were excellent hosts.

Wonderful Home and Location

We loved this home and its proximity to Popui and Brenneke Beach. The home was very well cared for and clean. Definitely the most stocked VRBO we have ever stayed at. The garage was full of everything you would need for a day at the beach or pool. Close proximity to excellent Restaurants and beautiful views. We loved staying in Koala and would definitely stay at this home again. Host communication was great and provided recommendations on restaurants and activities for our Family. Highly recommend!

Amazing Stay at Hale Honu!

We just spent 9 days in Paradise at Hale Honu. What a beautiful condo with all you could need for your stay. From the beach gear to the kitchen amenities we were so comfortable here and it truly felt like our home away from home. Superb condo. Very modern and well decorated. We have rented several condos but none have ever been as well equipped as this one. Thank you for the bikes and beach equipment which were very useful during our stay. We appreciated all the little touches like the welcome basket of products and the book filled with suggestions for activities and restaurants. We highly recommend this condo. Mahalo!

Wow! Wow! Wow!

I’ve stayed at multiple condos within the Pili Mai complex but this one was a notch above all the rest. It was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and I appreciated all the extra details such as a big welcome gift tray, fresh orchids in each room, and Malie products. Michelle has thought of everything you might need, so I enjoyed using the beach equipment, bicycles, and using the fully stocked kitchen. It was truly a luxurious oasis and I highly recommend staying here. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Perfection at Hale Honu

It is very hard to say enough about this wonderful place on Kauai near Poipu. The owners Michelle and David were kind, responsive, communicative, and remarkably thoughtful. Everything was impeccably clean, peaceful, classy/comfortable, so many essential things provided that other owners don’t. Basically it was perfect. Perfect for the two of us, and would still be perfect for six If possible I would like to give extra stars maybe like 7 out of 5 would feel more accurate. We obviously would stay again, and highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at Hale Honu

We spent last week at Hale Honu and had a wonderful time, great stay and didn't want to leave. The property owners were very easy and eager to communicate with and we had no issues with the property during our stay. The property was extremely clean and nice and the spaces were well thought out and decorated nicely. The kitchen was supplied with most everything one could need to cook any meal. I've never stayed at a place that was so well stocked. The location was great. Poipu beach and shopping centers a 5 minute drive and the big grocery store in Koloa maybe 10 minutes. The pool, hot tub and gas grills (4 or 5?) were just across the road. Hope to be back soon!

Beautiful, spacious, & very well stocked rental!

My friend and I stayed here for a one week vacation in paradise! We each loved having our own bedroom and bathroom, in addition to the joint living spaces - the gorgeous, very organized, and very well stocked kitchen, and the comfy living room. The community pool was close to our unit and the patio had a peaceful feel, with views of an open space and plenty of roosters! The location was just a mile from the beach. We took advantage of all the beach accessories provided - chairs, umbrella, floaters, and snorkel gear. This was one of the nicest rentals I have stayed. Thank you Michelle and David for showing such amazing attention to detail in your lovely home!

Perfect Poipu stay

We had a wonderful time at our trip to Kauai. Condo is spacious, clean and just as advertised. The tasty treats were appreciated as well as the well-stocked kitchen. There was even an instantpot in the cupboard! Michelle responded quickly to a minor issue at the condo that was remedied quickly and did not affect our stay. The pool was beautiful and well-maintained. We loved the daily am coffee with the chickens on the lanai. Safe property which was close to everything including a conference I attended at the Grand Hyatt. Would happily stay here again in the future. Thank you!

Wanted for nothing!

The place was really well laid out well decorated very comfortable. It seems like every time we wanted something I needed some thing we were able to find it and we never wanted for anything while there. They had all the beach accoutrements that we could possibly need as well as bikes. The property manager was extremely accessible and responsive. One small plumbing issue with water flow in the guest bathroom that they were going to address after we left was not that big of a deal for us. This was a great experience, and I highly recommend it

Great hosts. Very accomodating, responsive, and helpful. Nice resort in good location. My husband and I felt very safe there. The home is very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is very well stocked. It also has a water filter pitcher in the fridge and ice in the freezer. Powerful A/C. Super soft sheets and comfy beds. Lots of hangers, but no pant hangers. Lots of beach gear including umbrellas, chairs, towels, bags, coolers, snorkeling gear, boogie boards and more. The only downside was that both sliding doors with patio areas are adjacent to a sidewalk and road with light traffic. Not ideal for enjoying patio time or letting natural sunlight inside the unit (due to lack of privacy) if that's your thing. Overall, we enjoyed staying in this home.
