A little difficult to get to as they don't plow the roads as regularly as you'd think, but it was a nice property.

About the host

My husband and I live in Portales, NM and own rental property in Lubbock, TX. He retired after 40 years of teaching vocational agriculture (FFA) and I retired after working with the NRCS 40 years (yes, I worked for the government, but mostly helping ranchers and farmers with conservation resource issues). We have 3 grown children and 4 beautiful grandgirls and and one grandson on the way!!
Why they chose this property
Our three children grew up skiing Angel Fire. We made wonderful memories in the cabin every New Years after the hustle and bustle of Christmas. They are all grown now and scattered so most years we rent it out. I miss those days. It is a well maintained time share and only available during New Years week. The roads are well maintained but 4wd or chains are nice during icy conditions. Angel Fire is a great resort for families and has a friendly small town atmosphere. There are plenty of quaint shops to spend time in and a variety of pubs and restaurants.
