Island Getaway! Family Villa w/ amenities of home - Beautifully decorated!

Welcome to Middle Bass Island! This newly remodeled Villa is great for a family fun get away where you can explore the island(s) or for a couple (or two or three) wanting to get away. Located on St. Hazards Resort, there's a community pool, community hot tub, restaurant & Tiki bar within walking distance. Sleeps 7 in beds or 8 (1 on fold out bed). Beds are comfortable and newer! Full deck area for entertaining or hanging out w/ a fire pit in the yard area. 4 restaurants and Historic Lonz Winery museum with the Island Grind Coffee Shop & State Park are all within walking distance. Brand new flooring throughout Villa, new cabinets, completely remodeled kitchen with custom beautiful Bass Island counter tops. Bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, all new bed linens, comfortable new pillows, Gas Grill, coffee, spices, basic condiments, complimentary 1 Gallon of water (the resort has well water, we would recommend bringing water or buying water at the General Store) and other amenities included. The General Store is a 6 minute walk if you need to purchase anything. The kitchen is fully functional where you could prepare a lot of meals if you prefer to eat in or outside on the spacious deck.

Hazzards resort has laundry facilities, extra shower facilities, extensive indoor/outdoor lounge with scheduled entertainment.

JF. Walleyes Restaurant https://www.jfwalleyes.net and the General Store https://www.facebook.com/mbigeneralstore/ are within walking distance - 5 to 10 minutes. Walleye's has good food and a beautiful atmosphere with a Blue Lagoon where you can cool off, listen to music or just relax by the Blue Lagoon in the sun. JF. Walleyes also has a boutique where you can purchase souvenirs and Middle Bass Island clothing.

JF. Walleye's & Hazards resort both have golf cart rentals. Neither place will accept reservations for golf cart rentals, but they have several golf carts for rent.

There’s a water taxi for trips from Middle Bass to Put-N-Bay. Inter-Island Charters is located next to the Miller Ferry boat. They post their weekly schedule on Facebook.

Miller Ferry Boat is the only Ferry from the mainland (Catawba Is/Port Clinton) that comes to Middle Bass Island. You can bring a vehicle, but you must schedule it ahead of time - at least two weeks before your trip. If you do not want to bring a vehicle, our Villa is within walking distance to all 3 restaurants/stores on the island. It's .82 miles away (20 minute walk) and you can cut through Lonz Winery State Park & walk along the State Marina to save time. If you walk, we would recommend a rolling suitcase and maybe a wagon, depending on how much stuff you bring.
