Velas Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta

Big room - 3 beds - huge terrace, everything as advertised. Velas is a beautiful property, nice beach, lots of pools, a couple of restaurants. Property is well maintained and well located. We enjoyed our stay.

We found the condo to be exactly as advertised. We knew it needed a little refresh, but it was worth it to stay at this resort. I researched a long time and Velas Vallarta had some of the best reviews. The place is beautiful, the people are nice and very helpful. We had wonderful service everyday at the pool and restaurants. We did not choose all inclusive and it was affordable to just pay at the end for what you consumed. We walked to the marina daily, about 15 minute walk, and ate at several restaurants. It was easy to call an uber to take us to the Romantic Zone and to get us to and from the airport. The resort offers shuttles for 80 pecos to the airport. We would love to stay at this resort again in the future. Monika was also very responsive to every question that I had leading up to the trip.

Nice - but a little dated.

This owner was very nice to work with - but the bathrooms really need a redo. Especially the shower for the primary bedroom - the larger tub with glass enclosure made it a bit tricky to get in an out of with a fear of falling.

Beautiful Location

The rental is in a beautiful location with easy access to the beach and restaurants. We had a rough start because the property manager didn't tell the resort we were checking in so we waited in the lobby for several hours for the property manager to respond. She did apologize and eventually sort it out. After a rough start we had a great time in this property. The beds were comfortable and the location was beautiful. There are several pools that the entire family enjoyed and lots to explore in the area. I would book this property again.
