Some of the islands best snorkeling and shelling right out front of the house. This 2 bed 2 bath home has covered lanais offering unmatched views of the Pacific Ocean and stunning surrounding Mountains. The home has an expansive lush green grassy yard with coconut and ironwood trees flowing in the cool tradewinds. This home features upper living room (w/ sofa sleeper), dining room, kitchen and huge wrap-around lanai with bbq for you to dine, relax and watch the waves rain or shine. Downstairs features 1 king bedroom leading to another private 1 king en suite primary bedroom with its own private lanai. Also downstairs are a second full bath and large laundry room. This property is in a tsunami zone.

Fantastic Beautiful and Serene Beachfront Home

Wonderful beautifully maintained beach home close to Hā’ena State Park, Tunnels beach and minutes to Hanalei. We enjoyed meals on the wrap around porch with views of the ocean and Mount Makana, lounging in the hammock, playing games in the large beachfront yard. If you’re looking for a quiet location, with all the comfort of home that’s close to outdoor activities and surrounded by pure Kauai beauty, Kepuhi Kai, is the spot for you! Nicki and Dave are excellent hosts who communicate well and provide a great deal of information about the surrounding areas and things to do. It surely helped us have an incredible time!

Property was pretty much perfect in terms of location and beach access. The interior was comfortable with everything one might need in a home. We cooked the entire 5 days which was very convenient. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful each day. Late night star viewing was amazing due to it being pitch black and no light pollution. There were plenty of beach toys, chairs, snorkels, ice chest and a much needed umbrella. I was worried about the lack of air conditioning in the property prior to arrival. It was not bad at all, even in 90 degree weather. 100% would return.

We live in Malibu, but look forward to spending more and more time at Kepuhi Kai and our other home on Anini Beach. Our love for the beach, hiking, surfing and all things Hawaii led us to amazing Kauai beaches.

Why they chose this property

In 2016, we took our first family trip to Kauai. We immediately fell in love with the the island and in particular the North Shore. The island's relaxed, friendly vibe coupled with its unparalleled natural beauty led us to purchasing Anini Kai in 2018. We then discovered the Hanalei and Haena area and fell in love and decided to purchase Kepuhi Kai in 2019. We wanted to find a place where we could enjoy the best the island has to offer, close to the beach and convenient to our favorite restaurants and activities, and share all that we love about Kauai with family and friends.

What makes this property unique

We have found that there are very few spots which can match the beauty of Kepuhi beach and the proximity to the reef, as well as the privacy offered on Alamo'o Rd, all while being a short drive from the shops and restaurants of Hanalei, Princeville and Kilauea.
