Heavenly beach bungalow

Couldn’t be happier with our stay! Can’t get better location than this! Loved having morning coffee gazing at the beach from deck, morning walks and hot tub!

We had the time of our lives at Mandy's little cottage on the bay. Everything was perfectly clean, stocked, and comfortable, and there is absolutely no better located accommodation in Hanalei than this one. My family was so sad to leave, but we look forward to returning!

The property is an incredible location! The owner was responsive and friendly and the property was clean, steps to the beach, fully stocked with beach toys, outside shower, towels, everything you need for a wonderful stay!!! Minutes from main street! Can't say enough about this place! Worth every penny!!!

Exceptional Property

A very well appointed and charming 2 bedroom cottage on the beach. Arguably the most scenic beach on the planet. The sound of the crashing waves at night and early morning 4 mile walks with only a few people on the beach was exceptional. We would love to stay again !

Simply amazing.

This rental is located on what I would say is one of the most amazing properties in all of Hanalei. We first thought it was too good to be true, and even then our stay exceeded our greatest expectations. The location, views, accommodations, walkability, beach access are all 10 out of 10. Mandy was an incredible, easy going host. We lucked out and had some amazing weather to top it all making for probably our best family vacation ever. Already trying to plan our return trip back!

Fantastic stay on Hanalei Bay!

Wow, what a great and relaxing week in Hanalei! The home was extremely well done with a modern vibe and well equipped with all you need for a great stay. Mandy our host was great to work with, always very responsive and helped on several occasions with reservations and such to help make our stay perfect. Very magical and relaxing place! Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect spot for an amazing family beach vacation. The property manager / owner was great with communication, instructions, and area recommendations. The house itself is awesome, and couple that with the view, & proximity to the beach...it doesn't get much better than this place. The whole family loved it!!!! 5 stars really isn't enough!!!

Right on the beach!

This property was amazing in so many ways it's difficult to single out just a few to mention. The location simply can't be overstated. The nightly sunset views from the porch were simple phenomenal! Having access to the Hanalei Bay beach and pier by walking right out of the yard was soo good. Lastly, it's an easy walk to the restaurants and bars in Hanalei which was super nice. To sum it up, I think this place has ruined me for any future trip to Kauai. Now I can't imagine staying anywhere else!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the property. The location can't be beat - waking up every day to the sunrise over the beach is hard to top. The unit is updated and modern, and all appliances/features are modern and well maintained. The balcony, though small, was enough for 4 of us to sit out in chairs at night. The landscaping and property management was beautiful. Overall I would highly recommend this property. They should post more pictures on VRBO so everyone can see the beauty of the space.

Beautiful place, great location

Beachfront near Hanalei pier, one could not ask ask for a better location. Beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds. Super clean. Very responsive properly manager. The freezer was not working well, and the window hardware in the master bedroom was broken which made closing it quite difficult. Would have rated 5/5 if not for these. Wish we could have stayed longer, definitely would rent again!

Gem in Hanalei

It is unfortunate that the storm took out the main house, that must have been devastating. But, what a lucky break for us!! My husband and I have been to Hanalei many times since we have family in Princeville and Steps to the Sand is our favorite spot so far. Being right next to the pier you would think it would feel busy, but once you're behind the gate, you have no idea what's going on in the outside world, it's just you and the view. The apartment was beautiful and comfortable. It was extremely well-appointed with high-end linens and quality furniture. It's obvious the owners care about their visitor experience, I felt like I actually one of their houseguests. The location was amazing - the morning beach walks, the afternoon surf sessions, the evening sunsets, and just a few minutes from the Mai Tais. We are already planning our next trip! Thank you for having us.

Hanalei Beach Cottage a la Four Seasons

Small enough cottage for 4 of us. So many other beach cottages with direct access to the sand at the bay are too big and need to share with others. This was about 1000 square feet, but with a huge yard for the kids to run and play and look for frogs at night. Can’t beat the views. Amazing. Outdoor shower was our go-to every day from the beach. Perfect. With warm and cold water. And shampoo , body wash, etc to use outdoors. The outdoor shower Felt like a waterfall. Awesome. And a must is walking to “the Nui” for dinner, just like in the movie “The Descendants”… great food. And awesome live entertainment. Overall, if you’re looking at spending $1500/ night at the new hotel that just opened in Princeville/Hanalei, this is much better bang for your buck. And the newer construction of this home is an advantage. AC worked great in Every Room! Kitchen with SubZero appliances. Top of the line chef’s stove.

We spent one perfect week at this property. The Carriage House was very comfortable, stocked with all supplies, and perfectly located. We even lucked out with the weather. Easy and immediate communication with the manager, Mandy. Would stay here again. Highly recommend.
