Hanalei Bay Resort overlooks Hanalei Bay from a tropical, lush 28 acres in Princeville. Beautiful ocean and Bali Hai views are everywhere on this property. Beach access is provided down a long, fair grade, paved path, and the resort staff offer convenient golf cart rides to the beach below. With four new artificial turf and two new hard courts as well as 6 new pickleball courts added to this world ranked tennis resort, everyone is sure to find their groove. Onsite restaurant, pizza oven, and coffee shop, concierge and fitness center, there is little need to ever leave!

Step out onto the spacious lanai and take in the beautiful mountain and ocean view as you sip your relaxing morning coffee. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This spot has such an incredible view I didn't appreciate fully until I arrived. You could sit in the bed, relax and just take it in. It was a short and easy walk to the pool, bar, restaurant and incredible sunset views. It was a ten minute walk down to the water but always had the option for a golf cart ride which was amazing. The snorkeling by the water was also soooo worth it! Room was so nice and welcoming, and the kitchenettes was nice for a couple easy meals :)

Perfect little studio!

Me and my husband found this on VRBO and were pleasantly surprised it was apart of a resort! With access to the pool and hot tub. Very nice and cleanly and also has a balcony and beautiful view! Highly recommend to stay here!

Great location in the complex and beautiful view! 4 stars instead of 5 bc the shower/bath faucet needs to be repaired or replaced. Difficult to turn and falls off. Otherwise great unit.

The layout of the room provided us with plenty of room for us to unpack and be comfortable. Updates are definitely needed but for the price we paid I’m not complaining. It was clean, comfortable and had AC (a plus). The realty team was VERY helpful and always quick to respond. I definitely recommitting staying at this resort!

Condo needs some TLC.

Location and views were stunning! Would definitely stay at Hanalei Bay Resort again however this specific condo needed some TLC. Condo had all basic necessities but was pretty dirty when we arrived (splatter on a couple walls in bedroom and near garbage), found a whole orange under the bed and shower and bath mats needed some deep cleaning (did not appear to be cleaned at all). Also only two rolls of toilet paper for 8 days, ended up buying our own as room is not serviced by housekeeping. Resort had issues with wifi so no wifi in our room 7 of the 8 days of our stay which made it a little challenging to research and plan our days (unrelated to condo owner but considering you pay a hefty resort fee per day).

Wonderful.

This condo was perfect for my husband and me. It's spacious, comfortable, has a VERY comfortable bed as well, and it has a spectacular view out the balcony doors of the mountains, trees, garden and a little ocean too. The condo isn't "fancy", but it was just what we needed. It also has a nice TV and DVD player which we appreciated because we watched a couple movies while there. The kitchenette is very helpful too (although a new microwave would probably be helpful). The beach equipment was also super helpful (we used the beach umbrella and beach chairs), but they could be replaced with newer ones as they're pretty old and worn-down. They were definitely a nice bonus though which we appreciated. The price was very good, and in my opinion this was a much better deal than booking a hotel room. The Hanalei Bay Resort is just lovely. You get the "resort experience" without having to pay resort prices. $20 resort fee/day is worth it. The Lobby area, pool/spa area (with a swim-up bar) and restaurant are great and very scenic. What's great about condo 1205 is that it's super close to the parking lot, Lobby, restaurant, pool area, etc., which is very convenient. We were able to get in and out of the property very quickly throughout our stay because of how close this condo is to the parking lot. Although the view isn't an ocean view, it's a spectacular view (with some ocean in it) and it's worth it because of the convenient location of the condo. If you stay in a condo closer to the water then you have to hike back and forth to your car, and walking to places (like Hideaways Beach or Queen's Bath) takes even longer. Also, the neighbors staying in the condo next to us were polite and not loud and the only time we noticed them is when we were out on the balcony at the same time as them. As long as everyone is respectful of one another there shouldn't be any issues. The next time my husband and I visit Kauai we will definitely book this condo again! P.S.- we stayed here for 3 nights and in Poipu for 4 nights, and we prefer Princeville over Poipu. :)

Our stay was incredible! The view from the room was spectacular. And the bed was extremely comfortable. Was also great to have laundry in the room. We did have a few issues with not getting a pickup from the beach when we called, and Wiki pizza closing early due to not enough dough. Otherwise, the stay was amazing and would recommend!

What a gem!!! So many things to love about this place. The unit itself has breathtaking views, a bunch of water/beach gear for use, a private washer and dryer, and a very comfortable bed! The property as a whole is also stunning and meticulously maintained. My husband and I loved the pool, beach access, pickleball and tennis courts, and onsite bar and 2 restaurants. We will be back!!!

The View!

The views were everything and exactly as pictured! Just walking the grounds was so refreshing. The Happy Talk Lounge was a highlight and the Wiki Pizza as well; both had amazing open-aired views and good food. The bed was very comfortable and the ac was good and cold. We will definitely be back!

Another great stay at Hanalei Bay Resort

The Hanalei Bay Resort is perfect for those who want more of a classic Hawaiian vacation stay. The beautiful grounds and understated buildings are inviting, but not formal. We stayed in a 1 bedroom studio unit which was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The best part about it was it’s location which was close to the main lobby, pool and the view of the mountains was amazing!

Hana lei bay resort

We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds were beautiful and had a lot of amenities. The only thing that we were not happy about was the extra fees that the resort charges over and above the owners charge, which stated all fees included.
