Antler Ridge is a great place to stay. The house was clean and exactly as advertised. The deck is spectacular and TMC stepped up and provided a grill when the onsite grill was found to be not working. Truly wonderful hosts and property. We had a great time and hope all future guests do too.
This is a wonderful cabin and great location. At the end of the road and great yard area. perfect for younger kids because there is a little stream and pond like area in the back but isn't any deeper than your waist, so no worries of kids getting swept away in the river. House was great as well. The only thing that I didn't care for is that the cabin is right below highway 12 so the road noise isn't great if you are at the back of the house where the firepit is.
Only 20 mins to White Pass Ski area. Three miles to stores in Packwood. Elk herds all around. Great hot tub.
Don’t plan to work on WiFi. 1.69 mbs download and .60 mbs. Upload. No TV. Great place for adults and kids to go outside! 😎
Awesome property at the end for more privacy. Everything was set up and the accommodations were outstanding except for problems with the hot water heater on 2 occasions and some took cold showers. The response time was very good for corrections, but I believe compensation should be considered.
The property was absolutely beautiful! There was a lot of room and it was very private and serene. I loved the property but we had some issues that need to be addressed for future guests. First, the oven door was completely broken. You had to prop it enough to open and close it. The handle and the side were falling off. This wasn't something that had just happened either. You could tell it's been like for a while. It was very frustrating trying to cook every day.Secondly, the deck needed to be power washed. There were spider webs everywhere and green mold on all the furniture and deck. I know it's in the woods and you would expect some but it hadn't been cleaned in a while.Next, there was a pair of kids soiled underwear under the bunk bed. I was very upset because my grandchildren touched it, not knowing what it was. It is a health issue. So, the cleaning crew didn't clean as they should. It wasn't hidden and easy to see. Finally, we had to call to get enough toilet paper and paper towels. There were only 3 rolls for 10 guests to use. For the money we spent, we would have expected it to be better stocked. Overall, I think it's whomever is supposed to care/clean the property that is the issue. It may seem petty but things you wouldn't expect when renting a place for vacation.
First, let me just get the only negative out of the way: be advised that this property is very close to US Hwy 12 and, completely outside the control of the property owners, passing trucks often engage their compression release brakes. I am not certain if it is legal in that area or just not enforced, but it will occasionally result in extremely startling noise at any hour. When no such braking occurs, the highway noise is still present, but more subtle and not distracting from the overall peacefulness of the property.
The cabin is situated on a small hill at the end of a private road. It has a sizeable back deck overlooking the Cowlitz River channel and valley views across to Butter Peak. At this time of year (lower water flow), getting to the Cowlitz involved a short hike. The view continues inside with expansive windows and comfortable furnishings!
It was very hot and humid during the first couple days of our visit. Although the cabin has no A/C, it is mostly shaded and there were an ample number of fans to draw in cooler air through open windows.
This cabin had everything we needed for cooking and eating meals, playing games (many provided) and relaxing in between the times we visited Mount Rainier. It was also very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was soothing after a day of hiking and the deck area was perfect for relaxing outside in the shade. It comfortably accommodated eight adults overnight with some room to spare.
Due to the current fire danger during this time of year, we did not have a campfire, but there is a very nice area for one and there was also a propane fire pit on the deck.
Communication with the hosts was easy and convenient (texts). We had no issues or concerns at all. Overall, this was a very great property and it provided for an excellent family retreat!
We are planning a return trip to Packwood/ Whitepass and will be returning to this home. The property was clean and exactly as advertised. The home was warm, cozy and inviting, I loved the open concept and the space was big enough for our large group to not feel like we were on top of eachother. Looking forward to coming back!!!!

We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay!
Amazing property and excellent property management!
Such a beautiful property and house, made even better by a very hands-on and accessible property management team. We stayed here during a big snow event right after Christmas 2021 and even though Packwood was dealing with multiple issues with power and services, the property management team did a great job getting the cabin ready for us and remained constantly in check with us, answering questions, and keeping us posted as things changed. I hope we get a chance to stay here again in the future!
This house and property exceeded our expectations! A lovely large house that fit 8 of us comfortably including a Toddler. We brought our board games but this house had plenty of them too. Our son’s family stayed in one of the bedrooms upstairs and it was perfect as there was a hidden toy room for their toddler! The kitchen was incredible - coffee maker and a pod machine included plus loads of dishes, silverware and utensils. I forgot spaghetti noodles but thanks to a fully stocked pantry we were saved (just check expiration dates on the food); including giant marshmallows and we even found long skewers outside to roast them in the fire pit. (Thank u to whoever left those!) Cooking a scaled down Thanksgiving dinner here was no problem - all utensils were found in the cabinets and even assorted condiments. Everything was also very clean - showers looked brand new. The large lot was incredible and such a lovely walk down to the river with eagle sightings feasting on salmon. Situated at the end of the road was another bonus - There were no other people around and this was very private. Our dog loved being able to walk off leash and it felt very safe. The hot tub was another bonus. The only negative thing I can think of is some of the beds upstairs were firmer than desired but nevertheless an amazing house. Also, no tv reception but it really was a nice family-bonding time. AMAZING HOUSE u will not be disappointed - we will definitely be back! Thank u so much for allowing us to experience this small slice of heaven! The Pines
Very nice cabin with plenty of towels, linens, dishes, etc. We loved sitting on the porch, and were able to see a herd of elk by the shallow stream behind the home. The weather was cool enough to enjoy the hot tub one night too!

Loved the view and wildlife out back by the creek! The decor is beautiful, hot tub was fantastic and the foosball table was a hit with the kids! Only drawback was no dressers in the downstairs bedroom and the closet was locked so nowhere to store clothes.
