The farmhouse, located in the center of the town of Umbertide near Perugia, offers an apartment built on top of a medieval building, founded on an ancient spring already known by the Romans. In the living room a crystal floor allows you to glimpse the foundations of this ancient site.

A green space right in the heart of Umbertide

Within walking distance to all the amenities of Umbertide, we enjoyed the peaceful garden around the beautiful old building containing our 1 bedroom apartment & could park our car safely within the property by our front door.

Beautiful property

The property is unique. It would be lovely in warmer weather. Nice patio on the back, quiet and private. I would have liked to see a nicer kitchen. And upgraded wiring because there was really only one outlet downstairs. With computers and IPhones you need outlets! Baths were both nice. One up, one down so convenient. The bed was comfortable and the linens nice. Loved the fireplace and had a fire every evening. Very warm and cozy. Good heat in the house. The proprietor Alesandressa, we met on our last day. She was really nice. I think she had been away most of our stay.

Oase van rust

Een oase van rust midden in het centrum van Umbertide. Prima appartement met eigen terrasje, een goed bed, een ventilator op de slaapkamer, en BIJNA alles wat je nodig hebt (er waren bijvoorbeeld in de keuken géén eetlepels, en in de badkamer waren er geen gordijnen voor de ramen). Er staat in de omschrijving “ontbijt inbegrepen”, dat waren 4 cakes, wat crackers en een bijna leeg blik koffie en wat melk voor een hele week, dus stel je daar niet te veel van voor! De fles wijn was daarentegen wél weer een leuke geste bij wijze van welkom. We hadden hier een fijn verblijf, mede door het zwembadje, en de ligging van het complex, en de zeer vriendelijke, gastvrije mensen in Umbertide.

Very beautiful location in wonderful Umbertide

The house is an ancient farm surrounded by a huge plot of land. Although you are in the center of Umbertide, it is very quiet and peaceful. The pool is very good, the rooms are beautiful and spacious. There was a slight misunderstanding when we arrived but the owner was very flexible and immediately provided a solution. We had a wonderful week in Umbertide.

Le potenzialità di questa residenza sono enormi ma la cura della stessa , le promesse comunicate sul sito ed il rispetto delle stesse sono fortemente discutibili. Sulla base della n/s personale esperienza è risultato deludente il rapporto di fiducia con l'host che, a fronte dell'impegno ad ospitarci nella casa storica ampiamente mostrata nel sito, ci ha deviato in alloggio adiacente ricadente nella medesima proprietà giustificando la scelta con motivazioni di sicurezza per COVID. In effetti la residenza originaria da noi scelta risultava concessa ad altra famiglia ospite con la quale abbiamo avuto scambi. Peraltro la collocazione della residenza è fantastica e l'Umbria mantiene e supera le promesse; nostro malgrado dovremo utilizzare diversa sistemazione.

Heerlijk verblijf met gastvrije hosts, en op een goede locatie

Mooi verblijf met alle nodige faciliteiten, vlakbij het oude stadje en de restaurants. De hosts waren erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Ze voorzagen ons van allerlei informatie en documentatie. Een eigen terras bij de woning, met een mooie tuin en voldoende privacy. Een aanrader!!

soggiorno bellissimo consigliatissimo

Abbiamo soggiornato benissimo con il nostro cane e bimba... appartamento comodissimo diviso su 2 piani molto accogliente. Ampissimo spazio esterno pieno di natura, alberi e verde. Massima tranquillità , posto auto interno , vicinissimi al centro di Umbertide e a 20/30 minuti da Gubbio e Perugia. La titolare molto gentile e disponibile. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Consigliatissimo!

Breve soggiorno a Umbertide presso casale storico

Soggiorno piacevole quasi in centro paese. L'alloggio molto rustico, accogliente e pulito e la padrona di casa cortese e disponibile. Forse i materassi dei letti e le reti andrebbero riviste, ma per il resto direi che la proprietà è adeguata al prezzo del soggiorno.

Alessandra was a great hostess and her home is beautiful! There were two of us staying at this adorable spot, but could also work for more with the pull out couch on the first level. The location right in Umbertide is great with walking distance to restaurants, churches, a grocery store, and shops. Added bonuses - the marmalata and honey Alessandra left for us for part of breakfast was delicious and if you wander through the large yard, you will be happily greeted by their friendly dog!

Appartamento molto carino, proprietaria cortese, pulizia da migliorare

L'appartamento in cui abbiamo soggiornato è molto carino e Umbertide è un buon punto di partenza per girare i principali centri dell'Umbria. La proprietaria è stata molto gentile, ci ha accolto con una bottiglia di vino e tutto l'occorrente per la colazione. Abbiamo potuto usare il caminetto ed è stata sempre disponibile alle nostre richieste. La pulizia dell'appartamento ci ha delusi, andrebbe un pò migliorata e alcune cose sono un pò vecchiotte, come la televisione e la biancheria.

Una vacanza dal risultato garantito! Abbiamo soggiornato per 5 giorni nella casa vacanza di Umbertide (annuncio n. 1833224) di proprietà di Alessandra Oddi Baglioni, discendente di una delle famiglie più antiche di Perugia, persona squisita ed accogliente, che ci ha dato l’opportunità di imparare un po’ di storia della sua famiglia anche grazie al gradito omaggio di uno dei suoi libri “Nozze rosse”. L’annuncio mantiene pienamente quanto promesso, la casa vacanza è fresca e pulita, ben organizzata negli spazi e con un ampio giardino esterno a disposizione degli ospiti; pur collocata ad un passo dal centro di Umbertide, grazie al giardino che la circonda il verde domina ed avvolge, isolando gli ospiti dal resto del centro abitato. Posto ideale per visitare le mete più significative dell’Umbria, facilmente raggiungibili in un raggio massimo di 50 km. Il Tevere che scorre maestoso poco distante ci ha dato la possibilità di godere di una bella passeggiata in bicicletta, a contatto con la bellissima e rigogliosa la campagna circostante, che ci ha avvolto con i suoi colori (il giallo-verde del grano, il rosso dei papaveri) e profumi. Consigliamo la vacanza agli amanti della natura e delle bellezze storiche, delle quali l’Umbria è molto ricca. Un ultimo consiglio: visitate Montone, centro medievale a pochissimi km da Umbertide ed affacciatevi al ristorante “Del Verziere”: cucina tipica umbra, dove si può anche apprezzare il tartufo ed un divino cuore di cioccolato caldo accompagnato da gelato alla vaniglia.
