Outstanding beachfront location. Wonderful views of the gulf, especially at sunset. Very close to Blind Pass and Turner Beach where the shelling is great. House is comfortable and well stocked. Lots of beach gear too. And, of course, having a heated private pool is luxurious.

Perfect Vacation in Chateau Blanc

We just spent 2 wonderful weeks in Chateau Blanc on Captiva Island and we highly recommend. As shown in the photos on the website, the beautiful beach house is nestled right onto the beach where we sat in our chairs daily and watched birds and dolphins. We were visited daily by the nearby bald eagles and osprey. We enjoyed our evenings on the screened in lanai watching those amazing sunsets. Ella was the perfect host,ensuring that we had everything we needed.

The views surpassed our expectation! The house was clean and well stocked. The area is private with single family homes and we often had the beach to ourselves. Ella, the owner, lives right next door and was very responsive. Thank you for sharing your "guest house". I might recommend a nonstick frying pan for eggs and a couple of lap blankets for the chilly mornings..

Great cottage!!

The cottage was perfect for the two of us! The beds were comfy and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need for cooking. We spent our days shelling, reading, and just relaxing. We ate out a couple times but cooked most of our meals in the cottage. If you are looking for a quiet house in the perfect location, this is it!!!

The Calm Between Two Storms

There was some lingering evidence of Hurricane Helene because of the timing, but everything was perfect. The area was just opening back up just as Milton was gathering steam in the Gulf. The weather in between however was very nice and the accommodations were just right for what we were looking for, a nice quiet get away for my wife's birthday. The beach was a stones throw away from the house and the pool was in a nice sunny spot. The kitchen had all that we needed to prepare meals during the week, and the screened in porch kept us from being eaten up by the sand gnats and mosquitos in the evening. Truly, a perfect spot to unwind.

Lovely stay

Ideal vacation house and location. We have been vacationing in Sanibel for the last 10 years. We discovered this property when our prior spots were destroyed by IAN. It was an amazing stay. Peaceful and private. Lovely ocean views and beautiful landscaping. We spent our week moving between the ocean and pool each day. Everything we needed for a day at the beach was provided. Wonderful host. We really appreciated her prompt response to our questions.

Perfect location and wonderful house

My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Chateau Blanc! It is a wonderful house for a couple or a small family, right on the beach with a beautiful pool. The view of the ocean from the house was spectacular! We love Captiva and have stayed on the island several times and this by far was our favorite!
