Great cottage!!

The cottage was perfect for the two of us! The beds were comfy and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need for cooking. We spent our days shelling, reading, and just relaxing. We ate out a couple times but cooked most of our meals in the cottage. If you are looking for a quiet house in the perfect location, this is it!!!

Perfect Vacation in Chateau Blanc

We just spent 2 wonderful weeks in Chateau Blanc on Captiva Island and we highly recommend. As shown in the photos on the website, the beautiful beach house is nestled right onto the beach where we sat in our chairs daily and watched birds and dolphins. We were visited daily by the nearby bald eagles and osprey. We enjoyed our evenings on the screened in lanai watching those amazing sunsets. Ella was the perfect host,ensuring that we had everything we needed.

Beach rereat

The views surpassed our expectation! The house was clean and well stocked. The area is private with single family homes and we often had the beach to ourselves. Ella, the owner, lives right next door and was very responsive. Thank you for sharing your "guest house". I might recommend a nonstick frying pan for eggs and a couple of lap blankets for the chilly mornings..

Perfect location and wonderful house

My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Chateau Blanc! It is a wonderful house for a couple or a small family, right on the beach with a beautiful pool. The view of the ocean from the house was spectacular! We love Captiva and have stayed on the island several times and this by far was our favorite!

Best location

Hands down the best small house, 2 bedrooms, right on the water. Had the most enjoyable week by myself with various friends stopping by. I live in Naples, Florida but wanted some time at the beach. The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owner, Ella, is a real sweetheart.

Wonderful Captiva Beach Home

Chateau Blanc never disappoints. A comfortable, clean home with a short walk over the beautiful dunes to the wonderful, quiet gulf beach. There is a public beach about 0.2 miles away, but even when that beach is busy, there’s plenty of privacy. When we had our fill of the beach for the day (what?), the heated outdoor pool was calling our names. A wonderful stay!

Captivating

Chateau Blanc was a home away from home. While the island is still in recovery from Hurricane Ian, this property was more than ready to provide my family with a week of fun and sun. Captiva is a beautiful island and we cannot wait to come back.

Back in Captiva!

So glad to find Chateau Blanc so we could overlap with family and friends also in town. This house was well equipped and had a lovely location. Especially enjoyed the trees that were saved after Ian and left standing to provide great shade while not blocking the view. Attentive owner stayed in touch to make sure all was okay.

Lovely stay

Ideal vacation house and location. We have been vacationing in Sanibel for the last 10 years. We discovered this property when our prior spots were destroyed by IAN. It was an amazing stay. Peaceful and private. Lovely ocean views and beautiful landscaping. We spent our week moving between the ocean and pool each day. Everything we needed for a day at the beach was provided. Wonderful host. We really appreciated her prompt response to our questions.

The Calm Between Two Storms

There was some lingering evidence of Hurricane Helene because of the timing, but everything was perfect. The area was just opening back up just as Milton was gathering steam in the Gulf. The weather in between however was very nice and the accommodations were just right for what we were looking for, a nice quiet get away for my wife's birthday. The beach was a stones throw away from the house and the pool was in a nice sunny spot. The kitchen had all that we needed to prepare meals during the week, and the screened in porch kept us from being eaten up by the sand gnats and mosquitos in the evening. Truly, a perfect spot to unwind.

***PERFECT PLACE IN PARADISE***

First let me start by saying what you get for the price is a steal and don’t hesitate waiting to book, because at this Price the good weeks will go quick. Perfect spot no crowds totally private. Amazing clean and Private Heated Pool. Home is equipped with everything you need. We rented a Golf Cart Salty Carts, made getting around the Island convenient and fun. Saw Dolphins, Manatess in the beach. I can’t wait to Return. Ella and her family are super nice and attentive. Super clean and cozy. The view is to die for.

Great Place

The house is located on a private, secluded beach. There’s a public beach a few hundred yards away that you can see, but we basically had the beach to ourselves all week. The house is close to restaurants, a grocery store, and just about everything else you will need, but it is very private. The homeowner lives next door, but as I said, we still felt we had all the privacy we wanted. The pool is very nice to have just down the steps from the house. The house had everything we needed, although it would have been nice to have a gas grill. In any case, it’s a great spot. I highly recommend it, unless you’re planning to go when we do. 😀
