Our family enjoyed every moment of our time at Rose Cottage! Located on a quiet street with stunning views of the water, it was immaculately clean and thoughtfully well-supplied. Monica was a wonderful host, she was so welcoming and available to answer any questions and check-in and check-out were a breeze.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, thank you Monica for a perfect stay!
The house was beautifully arranged and kept, tasteful and comfortable. The enclosed front porch looking out on the water was a great asset. The neighborhood was comfortably walkable and there were hiking trails nearby as well as a charming village and restaurants with easy food.
Our hostess was gracious and available for questions, even ahead of our arrival.
The cottage is in a beautiful wavefront neighborhood. The neighbors were all very friendly. The house is cozy and comfortable. The views is amazing. The property owner was easy to communicate with and was very responsive. It was the perfect haven for me during the holidays.
This Mulberry Point cottage was a slice of wonder with its incredible water views, coziness and location. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the front glass porch. The photos do not do it justice! Monica was a wonderful host and everything was well thought out and impeccable. We hope to be back at this seaside cottage again!
Rose Cottage is a gem. The cottage is clean and beautiful, well laid out and well appointed. You can feel the thoughtfulness of the hosts in all the little touches like coffee options in the cupboard and luxurious bedding and towels.
Great place to decompress from the busy world. Thank you, Monica! Well done.
I've rented many properties across the US and this one was definitely the best. Incredibly clean and superbly equipped from the kitchen, to the bathroom, to the beach toys. We stayed for a week (two teenagers and two little ones). We all loved it. There is so much to do in Guilford and this cottage is in the perfect location. The beach down the street is great. As is the public beach and the state park beach, Hammonasett, in Madison. Loved going to the town green with all it's shops and restaurants (especially Ballous). We also took the thimble island boat trip which was lovely. We will be sure to stay here again.
A wonderful clean and comfortable house with a fantastic view Ceiling fans and air conditioners aplenty as they were much.needed in the 100 degree weekend!Extra benefits? Dishwasher! Washer and dryer!!! And two jkyacks on the lovely association beach minutes away. One uncomfortable issue ? The driveway and the need to backdown very carefully into the main road.I wish I had met the owner in person but she was always available via text!
We had a relaxing stay and swam everyday in the cove. The view from the cottage was beautiful, the neighborhood lovely with friendly people, and the owner was helpful and available but not intrusive. The cottage itself was charminng with a well-equipped kitchen. Real value for the price.
This is a perfect vacation home and immaculately "eat off the floor" clean, with comfy beds, a lovely renovated bathroom with really nice shampoo and soaps, a fully stocked kitchen including coffee, tea, spices,.oil and vinegars,, and just about every imaginable tool: Salad spinner, pots & pans, serving platters, barware, small appliances, good knives, meat thermometer for grilling, lobster crackers, the list goes on. Charming living room/dining area. We barely used the AC units as the sea breezes were delightful. Finally, the views. Whatever plans you have for the area, just realize you will only accomplish half of them because there is just not enough time to sit on the patio and stare at the water with a coffee or cocktail in hand. Monica and Bill are accommodating and gracious and immediately answered any questions we had. Didn't want to leave and we hope to return soon.
This home has the best of everything - beautiful view, charming location, close to town and activities, and a host that has thought of every detail big and small.
From start to finish our vacation was absolutely fantabulous. The owner, Monica was just delightful to work with. The Rose Cottage was so clean and comfortable. The view, all we can do is WOW. Highly recommended!
i wish i could give more than 5 stars, because that's what this property deserves. It is one of the cleanest, most well equipped homes we've stayed in, and we've stayed in a lot! Definitely on our list for a return visit. And, oh yes, location, location, location. Views of the cove and the sound from many windows, and those roses. Wow! I could go on and on, but you need to experience this for yourself, You'll be so glad you did.
Beautiful location facing the water. Tranquil. All the great reviews are accurate. Monica has thought of everything and has gone beyond with supplying literally everything. Even a gift of chocolates from the shop in town. The pantry is stocked. The kitchen has every pot, muffin tin etc. Very clean and safe. The owners live next door and happy to be invisible or in touch for anything needed. Hope to come again!
The “Rose Cottage” was everything it claimed and more. The views were spectacular, the house immaculately maintained, and a super host with attention to details. Would unequivocally recommend (except for the weeks I would love to be there)!
We had a great week despite some rainy days. The house is super cozy, very well stocked and the view is truly spectacular.
The owners are lovely people and very accommodating. We look forward to a return visit!
