Spacious 2000+sqft Home, 3 min to Beach, Lighthouse & Quaint Village

Family Tides condo, which is centrally located on the island was updated a few years ago. It includes all new paint, appliances and flooring in the bedrooms. Enjoy the spacious open floor plan with large living room, dining area & beautiful kitchen. Right off from that area the balacony door leads to the front deck spanning the entire full front of the building. One can enjoy the scenic view of downtown St. George Island including the lighthouse from sitting in a rocking chair. The public beach, lighthouse, quaint shops and restaurants are all in walking distance. The condo is next door to Aunt Ebby's Ice Cream and about a block from Island Outfitters (beach rental equipment) and Island Dog Outdoors.

There are plenty of beaches nearby, including the main public beach and the State Park which covers the eastern portion of the island.

The beds sleep up to 8, not including the sofa bed. The master bedroom has a king bed, the 1st guest bedroom features a full bed and twin bunkbed, and the 2nd guest bedroom has a queen bed. There is also a pull-out sofa bed in the living room (linens available for the sofa bed upon request).

Kitchen comes supplied with condiments, standard coffee maker, dishwasher, ice maker with filtered water dispensing frig. There is a washer and a dryer. There is Wi-Fi and a 50" Smart TV (no cable) and DVD player along with family-friendly DVDs.

The condo is located upstairs (above a quiet restaurant), providing a better view of the island. Bookings 7 nights or more get a 10% discount; 28 nights or more get a 20% discount.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash, dry and put away all dishes.
Place dirty linens in laundry room.
Rinse out coffee pot, remove used filter, and unplug. Empty refrigerator. Place all trash in the dumpster.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please report damages immediately.

Our Island Get-a-way

We have stayed at this property numerous times and it has always been great. It has the perfect location for the activities we like to do on St George Island. We always enjoy coming back. Property is always clean and ready. Enough amenities to keep us entertained at the property and on the island. Its so convenient to everything around! So affordable and close to the beach

The property was very spacious, and I loved the balcony outside. The restaurant downstairs is very quiet with very little traffic. Check in/out was super easy and convenient, and the host was very attentive. 10/10 would recommend!

Everything was great. Really good location centrally in town. Plenty of places to eat near by, and the beach is easily in walking distance. Small hick up getting in the day of, but got ahold of them and got everything resolved quickly. We'd definitely stay again.

Great location!

This condo was in a great location with just a short walk to everything. Everything was clean and we had a lot of room for everyone. Our dog especially loved sitting on the front porch to people watch. Our host was very kind and attentive to anything we needed.

Huge condo, perfect location

The condo is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. It was perfect for our family. The location was great! It was a very short walk to the beach, Paddy's, and all the shops. I recommend eating Subway when you arrive or else you will be craving it the whole time because of how good it smells! We will be back!

Beautiful and perfect location!

Beautiful condo! Warm and spacious with all of the basic necessities you would need for your vacation. Perfect location to walk to most of the attractions, stores and restaurants. Ruth responded to any questions or requests immediately and was very helpful. I would highly recommend staying in this wonderful place!

This place is above a Subway restaurant. But it wasn’t at all a problem. It was a wonderful place to stay. The location is within walking distance to anything you might want to do! It was big and well stocked.

Great place!

Our stay was amazing! We got to the island when a storm was blowing in. We are so thankful that the owner let us into the house early. We were right next door to Island Dog rentals where we rented bicycles and paddleboards. We biked all over the island. It was fantastic! The beach is super close and house had everything that we needed to enjoy our beach days. Everything is biking distance to the house which makes for a lovely vacation!

Oddly the location actually works great, the floor plan was great for children and it was not as loud as you would think being near the main road through the island. The deliver truck for the site woke us early one morning but no big deal! I would definitely stay here again!

Huge, clean, lovely, comfortable, close to everything.

Absolutely perfect spot- very short walk (even with small children in tow) to beach, playground, lighthouse, restaurants. Couldn't have been happier. Decor was fresh and beachy. The host was prompt with replies and went out of her way to help us as travels plans were changing due to covid 19. Can't wait to go back, will book again. Thank you!!!

A perfect get away on St. George's Island

This is a A+ property. We could hear the waves from the condo. There was a lovely game room and we enjoyed using the air hockey table. Plenty of space. Kitchen was spacious. Beautifully decorated and very new. Short walk to the beach. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back again. For the first time my teenage girls seemed to enjoy themselves while away and I have to attribute this to the location, the game room, card games and space they each had!

Just what we needed

My wife's parents live on the island, but we wanted to be responsible and socially distance from them as much as possible. So we did not need a pool or direct access to the beach. Therefore, in that respect, this property was perfect. We would definitely rent again. Very large, very spacious, plenty of room for the family to spread out. It's been recently renovated, and was quite clean. Appliances all worked flawlessly. Master bath is large (though the shower is surprisingly small), and guest bath is perfectly sized. Subway below was not noisy at all, wouldn't have even known it was there. A/C was perfect, kept it nice and cool at night. My notes/tips: - The entrance room has no TV, so it's kind of only useful for a reading/game space. Have a projector? Bring it, perfect place to set it up. - TV in den didn't have any reception/cable that we could access, and all Amazon TV apps were locked by a passcode we weren't supplied. Luckily, we brought our Fire Stick - Subway internet is slow and spotty. Plan accordingly - While most pots/pans were new, both frying pans were older and not nonstick. Will bring our own pan next time. That's about it. Great property, and the minor items definitely aren't anything worth getting worked up over. Would definitely stay again.

Host was very responsive. With this being our second stay in St George we loved this property and all of our guest agreed. Having everything on one level definitely made the stay much more enjoyable. Upon arrival the rooms were clean and it was located in walking distance of the lighthouse, and beach.

My family and I love St. George Island. Some of our favorite things to do include spending time at the public beach (3 min walk), shelling, going to the State Park, using the playground, eating at the restaurants and shopping at the stores, all very close by.

This condo appears to be twice the size of the majority of condos at SGI. Your family or party will have PLENTY of room to spread out. It has been recently renovated, including a beautiful kitchen. Your family may love hanging out in the large living room and/or family room.
