The Allanbreck Hideaway - sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom CHECK IN CLOSES AT 7PM

Our Allanbreck Hideaway was the first studio we converted for guests and is located adjacent to our home with magnificent views over the Loch and Morvern Mountains.

Compact but beautifully formed, this Hideaway has some of our favourite little touches that have been honed and perfected over the years.

Step inside through double French doors into the open plan living space with its comfy seating in front of a jaw dropping statement gas fire. The small kitchenette is to the right and the kingsize. bed is in a partitioned off area of the main living space.

The bathroom has all the hallmarks of our luxury Hideaways; gorgeous freestanding two person bath with claw feet, walk in monsoon shower, fluffy towels and luxury toiletries.

The room is both cozy and luxe. The views and location are stunning. Mairi is kind and accommodating as they come. I only wish we had stayed longer. Book this property! You will be blown away.

Perfect Glencoe Stay

We loved our stay at the Allenbreck Hideaway. It was a perfect location to explore Glencoe and offered so many comforts. Mairi is a lovely host meeting us upon arrival and showing us about the unit as well as offering so many great recommendations. We were given an upgrade due to a plumming issue, and it only added to the wonderful experience. The unit was very well equipped and very comfortable with a fabulous bathroom! We could not have asked for a better stay in the area.

Loved this place if you don’t zoom past it

We were kind of surprised to find a one hr window was suggested for check in which heads up limited check in hrs or add on costs can be a thing in west area of Scotland. The road there is not for sissy’s or rookie drivers but the place is amazing and view is great. Tony was great They need to revamp directions and give you idea of miles or you’ll zip by it in on a road hard to turn around on.

The studio overlooks the lovely Loch Leven and is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Upon arrival Mairi greeted me kindly and made me feel welcome. During the first two nights the upstairs guests made lots of noise and woke me up several times in the middle of the nights. I wrote a polite note to Mairi and her husband Tony. Instead of addressing my concern, they accused me of being noisy myself and cancelled my reservation. They forced me to move out of the studio during the high tourists season when hotels nearby are all booked. It is most disappointing that the management is so unprofessional. They could have simply asked the other guests to be quiet and that would be the end of their responsiblity. Instead they choose this hostile attitude. I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this is the first time I have this type of experience. Most disappointed.

Fabulous West Highlands studio

Top Spot in Scotland

Mairi's beautiful studio apartment was definitely one of the best of our Scotland/Ireland trip. We would recommend staying there unconditionally! The loch view was unbelievable and the apartment itself very lovely. We enjoyed a walk along a safe and scenic walkway to nearby restaurants and Mairi's friendly hospitality was greatly appreciated! Everyone should take a drive to the nearby Highlands in Glencoe. Literally breathtaking!

Wonderful Studio with Gorgeous View

We loved our stay in Appin. The studio had everything we needed and more! We could sit on the porch and stare at the loch, or sit in front the fireplace and enjoy a glass of wine or a cuppa. The bathtub was the highlight of the bathroom. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend this lovely and well-appointed apartment.

We were met by Tony, a delightful host, who showed us to The Studio. Oh my, why didn’t i book in for a week. The Studio exudes luxury. It has been very well designed and furnished beautifully. Beautiful studio in stunning location!

We spent a weekend in Mairi's studio which is directly located by the Loch and well connected to Glencoe, Fort William and Oban. Mairi was a wonderful host who provided us with all the important information for the surroundings. Furthermore, the luxury equipped studio has so much attention to detail (i.e. converters, chocolates, etc.) that I felt like staying at a friend's place and not a rented property. Definitely recommend and will consider next time I am in the Highlands!
