Family friendly Lake House on tranquil protected part of the lake.
Large back porch overlooking the lake.
Large fire pit area with hammock.
Large dock with stairs into the water.
This part of the lake has no boat traffic so you can enjoy peace of mind while swimming and paddle boarding.
Fenced in yard with child proof gates.
Boat ramp access down the street with day slips available from Heart of Texas resort.

main floor has two master suites with King beds and full bathrooms. One of these rooms has a sleeper chair and large closet with a pack and play for a baby.
Main floor also has the main open living, kitchen dinning space and a half bath.

Upstairs has a second TV room with ping pong table, Keyboard Piano, a bunk room with two bunks and two sleeper chairs, total capacity of bunk room is 6.
The is an additional large bedroom upstairs with a Queen bed, a sleeper chair and a desk and chair.

Fantastic stay

Wonderful Lake Property

This is a beautiful lake property close to Burnet. The property is very well maintained. The yard is very large and fenced so you can bring your pets. The dock was just perfect for fishing and generally relaxing. The sunsets from the dock were gorgeous. Would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful get away

The home was beautiful and comfortable, beds were excellent, the master bathroom was awesome, huge shower and bath tub (you could swim in the tub) and the baby did ! Thank you for a wonderful time.

Escape to the lake

We really enjoyed this house and the quiet neighborhood. The water was smooth and without lots of traffic just outside our home. We would definitely come here again!

Melissa, You've pointed out a feature that makes our property so special. We are protected by the rocks at the top of the colorado arm. This means no real boat traffic. Only fishing boats, pontoons and jets skis can make it up to our end of the lake, and nobody is speeding. Just calm waters for relaxing.

Excellent Stay

We stayed here for the weekend while we picked up kids from Camp Longhorn. Really nice, well stocked house. Two master bedrooms was the selling point but all of the amenities made it even better. We loved paddle boarding and fishing and building a fire for smores. Hopefully we can snag this place again next year.

Annual Family Getaway

Wonderful opportunity to have time with grandparents, children, & grandchildren! Everyone kept busy with the kayaks, fishing, ping pong, and s’mores around the fire. Thank you so much for the little touches that really made our holiday!!!

Beautiful property with access to every lake amenity you need for an amazing stay. From fishing poles, rafts and paddle boards even the 16 year old wanted to spend time with the family!!

Great property!

We had a great time on our trip. The house was new, modern, and a great setup. The kitchen was big, open and perfect for cooking while staying connected with the group. The property was beautiful with a huge fenced in yard, lots of shade in the back, and amazing lakefront/access - perfect for swimming, kayaks, etc. Host was friendly and responsive.

Fourth of July!

Our family found this home to be the perfect place to spend the 4th of July weekend! The home is open, warm and inviting! Everything you need is provided!! No boat traffic makes floating, swimming, and paddle boarding great!! We will definitely return!!!

I'm very sorry to see we only got 3 stars, we always aim for 5 stars. A little context is needed here, The guest inquired about the possibility of an early check in so I asked my house keeper to accommodate, it looks like this was a mistake as the guest informed me that she missed a few things and the house was not to his expectations. The house keeper lives near by and I did offer for her to return and make the place right, but given the current conditions with covid, I don't think this was a comfortable option. I asked for pictures so I could relay this feedback to the housekeeper but we did not receive any pics or further feedback. regarding soaps, linens and kitchenware etc, Shefaly didn't make me aware of this request while he was there, We have a locked supply closet and shed with many of these consumables and common kitchen items, so we could have re-stocked those items, again, this was missed when the housekeeper rushed to accommodate the early check in request.

stunning and perfect getaway spot

loved it the second time as much as the first. the first time i went with kids and grandkids and we explored the surrounding recreational areas and parks. this time i went with a group of girl friends and we looked at the farmers market and shops in burnet. i have a feeling i'll be back again...

Memorable Vacation

My family had a wonderful week in this beautiful home! It was a wonderful retreat for all of us to be together again after such a long time apart due to the pandemic. The house was a great size - 9 adults had plenty of room to relax together and to have places to split into smaller groups. The bedrooms were spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen! Lake LBJ was so relaxing - we loved just floating and enjoying the breeze and also enjoyed the paddle boards and fishing. We hope to come back one day!

Family last summer flgetaway

Just wow! This lakehouse is amazing, so peaceful and relaxing. We decided to have one last summer getaway vacation, my husband and I along with mom in law, son, daughter and her boyfriend and our dogs. It was the perfect place, Chris the host was awesome and promptly answered any questions and needs we had. The house had all the comforts and everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable, living room/kitchen area is spacious and the view is amazing. We had great time kayaking, SUP, saw bunch of turtles, ducks and even saw a blue heron thanks to the neighbor pointing that out to us. There’s a cool vineyard 5 min away and longhorn cavern state park is 10 min away. We loved it and had such a great time. Can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic Weekend Getaway!

Booked a last minute weekend getaway and despite the stormy weather my husband, kids and I had a great time! The house was very clean, including the hard to reach corners, under the beds and had zero hesitation about my 2 year old crawling around on the floors. Yes I am pretty picky about cleanliness, especially during this pandemic, and Chris’ house was spotless. Plenty of games and toys to keep busy inside during the rain. We were able to get out on the river a couple times when the rain lightened up to enjoy the kayaks and paddle boards. We enjoyed watching the turtles sun themselves on the rocks in the mornings as well. Thanks Chris for a fun weekend, my family has found our “go to” lakehouse and we will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Wonderful stay at a beautiful place

My husband and I stayed with some friends at this beautiful property for a few days. It was beautiful and had everything we needed. We grilled and cooked meals there and barely left the house at all because the house had so much to offer. The gas grill was very convenient, and the kitchen was well-outfitted with plenty of dishes, utensils, etc. to cook anything we wanted. The only thing I could think to add would be a family-sized plastic drink pitcher (I couldn't find one of those in the house, but it had everything else, including an Instant Pot!). We loved how the house had so many great places to gather together (lots of room and seating for us all to hang out). For entertainment, we enjoyed time on the water using the provided stand-up paddleboards. We also had some spirited games of ping pong in the upstairs game room area. While we didn't have time to enjoy them all, we appreciated all the board games, yard games, etc. that were available. Perhaps best of all was the beautiful view of the water from inside and outside the house...it was so peaceful and quiet there, such a great place to relax. We can't thank the host enough for a wonderful stay, and we would book this house again without hesitation.
