I will first say that the view/location of this house is phenomenal. Beautiful sunsets and views of the water/boats all day. It was also nice to be able to sit out on the dock at any given time. In addition, the owner was very responsive and easy to work with. Check in was seamless.
That said, I wouldn't stay here again. The primary reason is the house needs some upgrades/repairs for the price we paid. Many light fixtures were out or broken, two of which were in showers, making one of the bathroom showers unusable. This was problematic because we had a group of seven.
We experienced a leaky roof on two occasions. Both were caused by heavy rains, but still an issue. The floors are uneven in several areas of the house, and many of the TV's did not work. A fire stick was provided, though we brought our own, which was good since there was no access to cable, etc.
Many boards leading into the house and on the dock were broken/warped, causing a hazard for people to trip and fall. The kitchen was fine, but not much space and difficult for more than one person to be cooking/doing anything at the same time. Again, this was more of an issue given our party size.
This house may be better suited for smaller groups, or just for a weekend getaway, versus the full week we were there.
