Tucked away in the forest, you will find a quiet escape from the craziness of life at this rustic retreat. Warm up after a day of skiing by throwing a log into the woodstove or spend a summer evening out on the spacious deck with a cup of coffee in hand and beautiful mountain and forest views as far as the eye can see. This deck also features a convenient outdoor dining area and private gas grill accompanied with a hot tub, creating the perfect setting for cookouts. You can even challenge your friends to a game of shuffleboard for an extra sense of fun!

Despite being in peaceful seclusion, you won't be far from all the attractions of Pagosa Springs. The city's golf club, Pagosa Springs Golf Club, is a short six-mile drive from your front door, so be sure to pack your golf clubs during your summer getaway. Winter travelers can make the 33.1 mile trek up north to Wolf Creek Ski Area for days spent tearing up the powder or carving up groomed runs. No matter the season, downtown Pagosa Springs is home to many activities for you and your group to take part in. Just nine miles away, you will find several restaurants and shops, a riverfront walking path, the San Juan Historical Museum, and of course the famous hot springs.

Woodland Retreat

I hosted a family from China and wanted to share with them my love for the Pagosa area. The home is beautifully nestled in the woods and decorated beautifully with a cabin them. The rooms are spacious and flow well together, and it has an amazing deck. Conveniently located just north of town near the Forest, we were able to explore easily. Highly recommend for reunions or rest.

This property is well equipped with lots of opportunity for family fun. We arrived during a snow storm, but the walk way and front path were cleared for us. Beautiful views from the deck were wonderful and our grandsons had a wonderful time. This was our 2nd stay and we plan on returning.

Great cabin for annual family ski trip.

Wonderful property! Private, secluded cabin with a wraparound balcony that offers breathtaking views of the mountains and a running stream in the valley below. I have rented this cabin for my family’s annual ski trip the last 6 years and just reserved it for 2024 trip. It is just a short 30 minute drive to Wolf Creek ski area. Clean, well maintained cabin.

Family Ski Trip

We took full advantage of this wonderfully furnished and well equipped home. We cooked, we sledded, we played games and we enjoyed the hot tub. Even though our mission was to travel the short distance to the ski slopes at Wolf Creek, the home quickly became our vacation highlight. It is conveniently located to downtown Pagosa and the Wolf Creek Ski Area. Loved every second of our stay and are already making plans to return.

Family Vacation

The code to get in the house is waaaay to long. We were counting on the washer and dryer as we packed accordingly to get there with a note the dryer does not work. No check out process notes so we were not sure where to put dirty towels, sheets and garbage. Over all the place was nice and worked for what we wanted for our vacation. We enjoyed the patio for our meals and the hot tub to complete our evenings. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Amazing Pagosa Springs Stay

Epic Snow

Nice, quiet location about a 45 minute drive to Wolf Creek. The house had what we needed for our short ski trip. The hot tub relaxed our muscles after a long day on the slopes, but it was a bit small. Designed for 2-3 people. Highly recommend Ski and Bow Rack for rentals. Pagosa Springs is a cute, affordable town. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back.
