country house just renovated, quiet, isolated on the edge of a small river "dropt" with a park of 2000 m2, its private swimming pool 8x4, located between the bastides of Villeréal and Monpazier. The cottage is composed of a living room with its kitchen, 3 bedrooms (2 beds in 160 and 2 beds in 90), a bathroom with walk-in shower and a storeroom. The living room is equipped with a convertible sofa, television, central island, oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer ..... Near the Dordogne, you can visit our beautiful region, taste our specialties. Fishing and hunting are possible nearby

Beautiful remote house

The house is beautiful and well equipped. The photos don't do it justice. Denis wife was very friendly when we checked in and baked us a lovely strawberry tart. The pool is amazing too.

Peace and quiet...

Surrounded by fields, this is an exceptionally quiet and peaceful location. The property is recently converted and facilites, including the pool, are excellent. Denis and his daughter welcomed us in person and gave us a full guided tour of everthing, including the vegetable patch which we were invited to make use of. And as an added welcome gift, half a dozen eggs fresh from the farm and a delicious a raspberry clafouti baked by Denis' wife.

Lovely Gite

Very nice gite with a lovely pool. However it was not clear on the booking that we had to provide towels and bedding. By the time we were contacted to ask if we wanted to hire them we had left home. Don't expect to provide bedding when we hire a gite.

Stayed for 5 nights in June and had a great time. The property is of high quality and not overlooked. The pool is perfect for cooling off. Needed to keep windows closed to stop flys but fans provided in bedrooms. Could have done with some simple directions as our Sat Nav and Google searches didn’t get us to the property so we wasted 45 mins driving around. Other than that hosts were easy to deal with and we appreciated the welcome pack of eggs and cake.

Petit nid à l'écart et proche de tout

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans le logement de Denis. Tout était au top, si ce n'est la connexion wifi, mais Denis n'y peut rien, c'est la région. Si vous voulez passer des vacances en toute tranquillité tout en étant proche des points attractifs, n'hésitez pas ! De plus Denis est aux petits soins, tout en étant discret, ce qui est un confort inestimable. Nous reviendrons certainement dans les prochaines années.

Le spectacle de la Nature!!!

En vacance dans le sublime village de Villereal, nous avons eu la chance d’être accueillis dans ce merveilleux Gîte ! Il est situé en plaine nature sans vis à vis où la flore et la faune dessine un splendide tableau à toutes heures ! Vous aurez peut être la chance de croiser une biche, des lapins, surprendre un faucon crécerelle ou encore observer le magnifique ballet des hirondelles venant se rafraîchir dans la fabuleuse piscine !!! Cote Gîte, il est parfait , pour 6 Personnes vous avez même à disposition des tomates cerises thym basilic pour accompagner vos salades et plats!!! Pour conclure mention spéciale à Nicole et Denis les propriétaires une délicatesse une disponibilité et d’une gentillesse! Nous avons eu le bonheur de découvrir leur exploitation et la qualité de leurs produits d’exceptions notamment leurs légumes!! Nous espérons y retourner rapidement ! Mooie plek met alle gemakken voorzien

We zijn ontzettend positief over ons verblijf. Het huisje is echt van alle gemakken voorzien. De keuken is groot en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De tuin is voorzien van meerdere verse kruiden en zelfs tomaten planten in het groente tuintje. Hier mag je al gast gebruik van maken. Het zwembad is echt genieten! En er zijn ook genoeg schaduw plekken. Voor honden eigenaren is het goed om te weten dat de tuin niet omheind is, dus een lange loopriem is een aanrader. Ook hebben beide omringende huizen waak en jachthonden die direct aanslaan als je met je eigen hond(en) langsloopt. De hond in het rechter gebouw loopt los en komt blaffend naar je toe, de 3 honden van het linker huis zitten in een schuur maar deze kunnen ze openbreken wat helaas was gebeurt waardoor ze 3 uur rondom het vakantie huis liepen. Tip voor de vaatwasser: de grote borden passen niet in de onderste lade waardoor de bovenste lade loslaat. Er is geen airco aanwezig maar in elke kamer staat een ventilator. Een nadeel wat wij toch moeten benoemen is de grote hoeveelheid vliegen. Ookal maak je alles gelijk schoon en zorg je dat alle etenswaren opgeborgen zijn kwamen wij er maar niet vanaf. En het waren er echt heel erg veel in het huisje. Ook de badkamer kon erg muf ruiken, je ontkomt er niet aan om een raampje open te zetten. Het huisje was niet super schoon, echter kan dit ook komen doordat wij vroeger aankwamen en vroeger in het huisje konden.

Maison toute équipée et confortable

Nous avons séjourné entre amis. La maison est très bien rénovée. Agréable à vivre, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Notre chien a pu profiter et courir en toute sécurité autour de la maison. Merci aux propriétaires qui nous ont accordé quelques heures supplémentaires avant le départ.

Séjour reposant à la campagne

Nous avons séjourné à 4 au Gîte Saint Sib que nous avons trouvé propre, moderne, spacieux et bien équipé. Les extérieurs sont merveilleux : le gîte se situe en plein milieu de la campagne, au calme et sans vis-à-vis. La piscine est parfaite. De plus, les propriétaires sont adorables. Nous recommandons vivement !

Good but not great!

The property was pretty much as described but for us had one major drawback. It does not have air conditioning, which would not ordinarily be a problem, but you cannot sleep with the windows open because there are plenty of mosquitoes and no screens. There was one fan but three rooms and we found it very stuffy and hard to sleep. Our only other criticism would be the welcome pack, sure nothing was promised but just a bottle of cold drinking water would have been handy (there were six eggs, some prunes, quarter of a roll of loo paper). On the plus side Denis is very nice, location is excellent, a very tranquil spot.

Our stay at St. Martin, Villereal.

A very comfortable gite. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The gite was very well equiped with pleasant surroundings. The weather was extremely hot during our stay, thank heavens for the pool. The surrounding areas, Villereal and other towns were beautiful.

Vakantiewoning is top ! Alle comfort en een zalig rustige ligging .

Het verhuur vastleggen was op zich geen probleem . Betaling kon alleen met kredietkaart en moest ineens volledig betaald worden , dat vond ik minder . Communicatie met de verhuurder liep ook niet meteen vlot maar is uiteindelijk wel in orde gekomen .

Perfect location

We were greeted by the owner and showed round the villa, who gave us some farm eggs and vegetables. The villa was well equipped with everything needed, clean throughout. Perfect location, pool was such an asset in 34degree sun. Lots to see within 20-30 km. we loved monpazier, lots going on. Singer, jazz band, and a small production in the square. Would recomend this area for peace and tranquility.

Accueillis par Denis et son épouse, nous avons découvert le gîte correspondant en tous points à la description mise en ligne, agrémenté d'un petit cadeau de bienvenue de la part de nos hôtes. Séjour très calme pendant lequel nous avons pu profiter de la piscine dont l'eau était à 27°.

Propriété exactement conforme à la description, rénovée avec goût, très bien équipée. Propriétaires charmants et généreux de leur temps. Une belle découverte. La piscine est le grand atout de cette maison. Si vous cherchez un séjour à la campagne au calme, c’est parfait. Beaucoup de visites à faire dans la région mais prévoir de tout faire en voiture.

Un régal !

La maison est parfaitement située pour ceux qui aiment le calme et être tranquilles. Elle est très fonctionnelle, bien équipée donc très agréable à vivre. La piscine sous cette canicule était plus qu'appréciable 💦 Les produits de la ferme proposés par Nicole sont succulents. Si vous avez des enfants, ils pourront découvrir une vraie ferme, la traite, le potager, le séchage des pruneaux... et jouer avec les chiens et le chat, juste à quelques kilomètres de la maison. Nicole et Denis sont généreux et très arrangeants. Bref un régal pour tous !
