Great property. There were 7 of us, and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. The places we ate at (Catskills Pizza - they even deliver! and Aba's kitchen) were fantastic.

The home is absolutely beautiful-both inside and out. Unique, charming, and extremely comfortable. Steve was a terrific host- providing lots of guidance in the printed welcome guide and very responsive when we had a few questions. We look forward to coming back!

What a fabulous property! Perfect for a group (we were 8). We loved hanging around the big table, we had a pianist and it was amazing to have the grand piano, we loved the hot tub at night. Gorgeous views and starry skies. Everyone gets a nice bedroom and private bath. And terrific communication from the owner. Could not have been better. Very highly recommend. We will definitely be booking again.

This was a perfect house to stay with our adult children and their spouses. The patio is great for hanging out and eating meals. The kitchen is well stocked fits every one. Stephen was very accommodating.

Excellent thanksgiving getaway

House was just as described, easy check in, immaculately clean throughout, well stocked with wood for the fireplaces and very responsive host. Would come back without hesitation.

This is a wonderful property for a large family gathering. It is a converted barn with just about everything you need. The only suggestion is to let guests use the laundry facilities which are kept behind a locked door. A place of this size and 20 mins from a decent size town like Kingston needs a place to wash clothes especially if you have small children and or are staying here for a week or so. The property is very pretty and lush. We enjoyed our stay in May 2026.

thank you for your review. please note that the laundry is in fact available for longer stays-just not a 3-day weekend. I'm certainly willing to open it up for special requests if urgent. And in fact it is a newly-built modern timberframe home - not a converted barn. so it has all the modern, energy efficient features that a converted barn might not. best wishes.

Beautiful property!

This place is absolutely stunning. Well designed, very dog friendly, and the view of the mountain is unparalleled. The owner is very communicative, quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend. Also, the sound system is killer.

Relaxing in the country

A great house in a beautiful setting.House was very comfortable, great conversation areas,each bedroom has a full bath. Deck overlooks the mountains and the meadow in front of the house. Great AC in each room.Quiet and isolated location. Would book again!

This is a really beautiful property with very cool amenities. The hot tub and fire pit were awesome nighttime activities, as was the music studio. All the beds were very comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and the speakers are great to listen to music on. The location is nicely situated between Woodstock and Saugerties and not far from other local towns and attractions. Stephen was very responsive and quick to fix any issues that arise. Highly recommend staying here.

Barn Home

Huge property, wonderful view, and stargazing in the hot tub was great. Located just a short ride to Woodstock, restaurants, grocery store, etc. House was clean and well stocked. We were a party of 9 and everyone had a wonderful time. Would definitely come back again.

Post Christmas Family Getaway

Thank you for a great visit. The house was exactly as described with great communication from the host. It was perfect for our extended family gathering (10 people mixed ages). Cozy fireplace, hot tub, well appointed cook's kitchen, with amble space and bedrooms for all. We enjoyed day trips to Woodstock and Rhinebeck - both very close by. We will definitely come back!

The house was impeccably designed and had everything visitors would need. And the view off the front porch was beautiful. It was truly impressive and very relaxing. One small suggestion would be to make the address at the gate more obvious, instead of having it on a tree next to the gate.

Perfect getaway

The property was just as depicted in the description and photos. Really enjoyed our stay in the woods. A perfect spot to gather and decompress with family. The entire place is fully functional, so guests don't have to make any accommodations. It's important to note that the house is on well water (entire area is, apparently) and the host makes sure to provide drinking water options in both the main house and the recording studio.We would definitely stay again!

The best

The house is amazing, it delivers on everything stated in the listing and then some. This was our second time staying at Stephen's place and it just keeps getting better. Can't wait for the next one. If you love to listen and play music, its a must.
