We loved staying in this cabin! This log cabin was in a quiet place outside the busy-ness of downtown Estes Park area. It is also very close to the RMNP entrance, which was very helpful for our early days hitting the trails. It had modern amenities, and we appreciated the comfortable bed and a hot tub, which were very helpful for our tired muscles. We loved sitting out on the deck watching the mountains and deer nearby. Thank you for hosting us!
Had a great time staying here. The property was amazing. Would definitely recommend if you want to stay in Estes park. Stayed for the weekend and it wasn’t far from downtown and had some amazing spots to eat close by. Me and my partner enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood and the easy check in and check out process. Super amazing hosts! Had a great time staying here and would definitely stay again!
My partner and I stayed here for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Staying in a new place each year has become a tradition, but we agreed this place was the best we’ve stayed in so far. Peaceful neighborhood, beautiful night sky, and hot tub made it perfect for us.
This property is incredible! Just what you need for a couples getaway with everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy yourselves. We definitely will stay here again when visiting Estes Park in the future
We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the close proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance.
The bed was very comfortable and we loved grilling and relaxing by the fire pit on the deck.
This cabin was just perfect! Perfect location, so close to town and RMNP. It was very beautifully decorated, so cozy and very clean. Check-in was a breeze!
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy, and it was easy to get to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. It was also nice to have a supermarket so close by. The hosts answered our questions quickly, and the guest book provides lots of great tips and recommendations.
I loved the cabin with a galley kitchen stocked with more than i expected, comfy chair and couch to rest in in front of the fireplace.
I was so excited when a deer family spent time in the yard.
The cabin was conveniently located to everything, but especially close to the national park. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking in the snow, and we loved the fireplace in the cabin. Everything was clean and well kept. There were deer that came through the neighborhood and just chilled out in the yard. We had a wonderful time and will absolutely be back!
Very clean and welcoming! Communication with the host was quick and informative. The location is perfect for the entrance to the park, town and restaurants. It is secluded from downtown but is in a neighborhood. I would plan to stay there again if I am in the area.
This cozy cabin was perfect for my husband and myself. We loved our mornings on the deck drinking coffee, gazing at the magnificent view, and watching for wildlife all around us. We couldn't have had a better location and the cabin was stocked generously. The owners were quick to respond when we had questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Why they chose this property
Fireside Cabin was originally built in 1937. We bought it in April 2019 and did a total renovation. The cabin previously had 2 tiny bedrooms and 1 tiny extremely rustic bathroom! Let’s just say that the entire cabin was extremely rustic! Our demo took the cabin down to the studs. We moved the walls to create a room big enough for a comfy king size bed and a nice size bathroom. We vaulted the ceiling in the living room to create a much larger feel and added the cozy fireplace insert. The entire cabin was insulated to provide year round living. The kitchen got granite counter tops and all new appliances. The outdoor living space got new deck railing and an awesome new fire pit. I guess the only originals left in the cabin are the wood floors, rock fireplace and the outside log cabin siding. Both the floors and siding were sanded, grinded and stained by hand!!! We poured our heart (blood, sweat & tears) into this place and we are extremely happy with the results. Our wish is that each of our guests has a truly memorable and comfortable stay in Fireside Cabin. The name Fireside Cabin is a reminder of the High Drive fire that came through this area in 2012. Many homes did not survive the fire, but this little cabin endured! You can see where the trees on the property still have burn marks.
