A lovely little house at the heart of Grignan

We were 8 and spent 5 days in this rental. The house exceeded our expectations. It has the charm of an old house built on a hill: Narrow spiral staircases, thick stone walls. The house feels lively, with many decorative objects and books. The kitchen had everything one needs to cook for 8, with lots of pans and pots. We were able to shop at the large supermarket that's only 15 minute walk from the house. Without a car, this was the perfect location for us. The Tuesday morning market is not to be missed. The owners were incredibly helpful, and generously supply (dish, dishwasher, laundry) soaps, towels, and other basics. The inner courtyard offered a lot of space to relax, and the tables enabled us to eat outside everyday. We arrived on a blistering hot day and the presence of only two fans in the house worried me that we were going to suffer. Fortunately, the temperature dropped and the wind picked up. A couple of extra fans may help with the heatwaves that seem to plague France more and more often.

Très bien

Très bon séjour en famille. Propriétaire très sympathique. Maison très agréable et très bien aménagée (attention juste aux escaliers un peu étroits). La cour ombragée au milieu du très beau village de Grignan est "un must".
