This rental location is gorgeous, the house was especially clean, and the hostess, Adrienne Kimball immediately available when needed, and especially friendly.
This was a great place to stay. Six adults and one 2+ year old.
Spacious, quiet, cozy and private.
Owner was readily available and helpful
In answering a few generic questions.
Heartily recommend it.
Great house in a beautiful location, not far from town, shopping, skiing or snowmobiling. Host was great. Everything you need to go have fun or just relax.
The cabin was super clean, well equipped and super comfortable. Adrienne was a super host responding to a couple of questions quickly! Hope to get back to the cabin again next year.

Caroline & party were terrific guests. Extremely responsible and easy to host. I look forward to their return...anytime!
The house was everything promised and more. Clean, well stocked, and perfect for a large group. Our host was responsive, especially when a minor appliance problem arose.
It doesn't get much better! I highly recommend this rental.
What an amazing property, exactly what we were looking for. The owner Adrienne was super helpful and available. I’ve never stayed at a more well stocked house. I will definitely be renting the property again in the future. We had a party of 10, there was plenty of room, Close distance to great skiing.
Beautiful, spacious cabin. We are a family of five, but it’s large enough for double that number. It would be ideal for sharing because there are bedrooms and bathrooms on three floors. Adrienne is very helpful and responsive. We had a slight plumbing problem that she addressed immediately. It is very quiet, and somewhat isolated, which means it takes half an hour to get to stores and restaurants. We thought that was a great trade-off because we were looking for peace and quiet. Overall, a wonderful stay.
The best supplied/appointed property I have rented; it's got everything! Somewhat remote which provided a quiet privacy. Animal sightings & beautiful sunsets from the porch. Plenty of room to spread out. Bedrooms are large with dressers & closets. Plenty of hot water for 10 of us. Cell service can be spotty, but you can go through the Wi-Fi. Grocery shopping is 30 minutes away, so stock up. Owner is very conscientious & responsive. Highly recommend.
We gathered at this lovely home for a late autumn family celebration. The rooms were well appointed and the beds comfortable. The porches were a great place to view wildlife, catch up on family stories, and enjoy a morning coffee. The kitchen has everything you could need. The home Is near Manchester — which was a charming town. Lovely.
Great place for a group. We had 14, including a 1 yr old, 4 yr old, and a 6 yr old . Plenty of room for all. House was extremely well outfitted with just about anything you could possibly want while staying there. The setting was beautiful. Host very good at communicating and answering any questions. We would definitely book this property again. Thanks Adrienne!
The house is lovely and in a beautiful setting. The house was very clean, comfortable beds and plenty of room for our family of 8. The owner was wonderful to work with. We will definitely be back!
We searched out a location to put us near the West Mountain Inn for a wedding over Memorial Day weekend. Adrienne's place was perfect for all 9 of us to stay as a family group. It was quite and homey and gave us the time we needed to spend with one another having traveled from 4 states. I appreciated all of her communications on details we were unaware of. One slight drawback was the distance from our primary destination (shops/touristy locations) although after the 3 day event it was minimal and we barely noticed.
This was such a great find for our group of 8. The house is so well set up with 5 bedrooms, 4 having queen sized beds which you don't find very often. The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The homeowner was very responsive and genuinely cares about the guests staying in her cabin. Ski mountains are reasonably close and Manchester Center is a short drive away so you can take advantage of the restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back!!!
The place was very clean, plenty of room for everyone, the location was very quite and secluded. Adrienne was a great host and very responsive. Will definitely be coming back here.
This was a perfect spot for a weekend family getaway. It was super helpful that the owners warned about possibly losing cell service right before arriving at the rental, so we were all prepared for that. Cute spot, great views, cozy and warm environment. The big kitchen table accommodated our whole family, which was fantastic! Walking around the property was an added bonus as well! Would book again!
Adrienne’s place is wonderful. Rarely do u find a place for a short term rental where the pictures don’t do it justice - but this place is more modern and lovely then the pictures show! Perfect for two families (and we could have squeezed a third family). Also, big snow on day we were to check out and Adrienne was super accommodating (as was the plow company she uses who came twice and helped us on our way with our home!). Highly recommend!
Wow! This house is absolutely amazing! A group of 6 of us went up and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The house was immaculate and so well stocked with everything you could possibly need- especially in the kitchen!
Adrienne was great with communication about finding the house, Checking in etc.
If you are going up to the house after dark, be very careful for the last 2 miles. Very windy and potholes.
We cannot wait to stay again. Couldn’t have enjoyed it more!
We had a great time staying in this rental, Adrienne was very responsive to any question we had. The space worked well for our group of 5 adults and 2 young children.
This home is a gem. If you're looking to unwind, unplug, and enjoy nature, look no further. Our family traveled with 3 generations (including 4 kids, ages 1 - 6) and there was plenty of room for all of us. We loved both huge porches and coming together in the large kitchen for family meals. As mentioned in other reviews, Adrienne was wonderfully attentive before we even arrived, answering questions and providing suggestions of what the kids could do in the area. We saw deer and other wildlife every day. The ride into Manchester is between 20-30 minutes. With young kids, excursions were better planned than impromptu. We loved our visit and look forward to returning!
A great week-long summertime stay - no complaints. Our family of 4 (two adults, two teen boys) quickly settled into a well stocked, comfortable cabin that offers a beautiful setting from which we set out on daily adventures of fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Bought groceries on the way in and had ourselves an appropriately distanced Covid-vacation. The cabin is generously stocked to meet any need. Highly recommend for anyone seeking solitude & comfort, with excursions when needed. (30min + to most attractions /sites of interest) .
We needed a little getaway from covid and found this gem of a rental!! The owner, Adrienne, deserves the praise for such a well equipped and comfortable home, and for being wonderfully accommodating. We've rented through VRBO numerous times and must say that Adrienne goes above and beyond! I love all the attention to details and the coziness of this cabin. Thank you!
We stayed at the wonderful property (6 adults-1 infant) for 4 nights . There was no need to venture out for meals as the kitchen was supplied with appliances and utensils better than mine at home !
It was an unusually hot weekend but we found fans in every bedroom closet.
The porch was perfect for morning coffee as well as after dinner sunsets.
Manchester is just a short drive away but we preferred to hang and relax at our weekend getaway that had everything we needed !!
We cannot wait to get together here again!
Our family had a wonderful time in Vermont. The house is beautiful and there were puzzles and games to play, music, beauty, hiking, cooking, eating, and a whole lot more to spend during our week "unplugged". Next time, can you order a bit more snow though:) Just kidding....we had a great time skiing at a nearby ski area. I could not have asked for a better stay.

About the host
Hosted by Adrienne Kimball
I divided my time between Boston and Vermont for almost 30 years, finally relocating to VT, to reside here full time in Dec 2017. I’ve come to love my time in the Green Mountains and hope you’ll understand why when you visit. I have raised my four children in this valley and can recommend plenty of fun activities in the woods or in town for children or adults.
Why they chose this property
Our little valley is a hidden treasure. It is quiet and serene with plenty of woods and streams to explore. There are numerous towns nearby, with lots of activities during all four seasons. It’s the perfect launching point for getting out and about during the day, then coming home to cook a big meal in the fully equipped kitchen. This cabin is equally perfect for a romantic getaway, while it may seem large considering it can sleep up to 14, but don't let that sway you, the lay out is such you won't feel 'lost' if there are only 2 guests. It's also ideally suited for a large party looking to have fun for the weekend. With 3 floors, there's plenty of room for privacy, along with lots of open living space to comfortably accommodate everyone in the same area.
What makes this property unique
The activities are endless! Hiking, swimming, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, golfing, walking, biking, shopping, etc. There is a small local movie theater to get that local feel as well as several playhouses in the area. If you're feeling like staying in, you can kick back on the large porches with a cocktail and start the grill.
