Awesome

Cabin is very nice, as advertised. Our host was awesome and helped tremendously with a medical issue that came up. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the gazebo talking and watching the sun set.

Great cabin for a family getaway.

Everyone enjoyed their stay here. My brother’s kids didn’t want to leave. The host was excellent and we couldn’t have asked for a better cabin or location. The back deck was a real treasure. The rocking chairs were extremely comfortable while drinking a cup of coffee in the mornings and the view was breathtaking.

Christmas Vacation

Everything was perfect about our vacation! We are a large family and had plenty of room to spread out. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and I cannot say enough about the views. The kids loved being outside and the hot tub was perfect during the cold nights. The Christmas tree made it even more special! We cannot recommend staying here enough❤️

Mountain vacay

Our group of 8 (5 adults and 3 children) were a perfect fit for this house. Highlights for us were the gazebo with fabulous mountain view, the hot tub, and the chickens and rabbits on site. Deep Creek hiking, Cherokee, and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad were all within a short drive. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out -- and also plenty of room in the common area for us all to spend time together. Thanks for a lovely vacation!

Lovely Stay

The Eagle's Nest Cabin was so wonderful for our family! This cabin was the cleanest cabin I have ever rented. It is very clean and well stocked with all that we needed! There were plenty of towels and paper goods for our family of 8. The owner resides next door. He was welcoming, kind, and so helpful! He allowed us to visit his pet rabbits which was a delight for my teenagers! We enjoyed all of the amenities including the sauna and hot tub! The view was amazing, the area was quiet and peaceful. Bryson City is a cute mountain town where you can shop and eat local food. The owner provided organized information about the local area and some personal recommendations!

A Great Place to Stay

This cabin is the perfect place to stay while exploring the Bryson City area. Everything that you could need during your stay (kitchen with plenty of cooking and eating utensils, ample towels, comfortable chairs and couches) was provided. We loved the outdoor porches; especially the covered gazebo with some amazing glider chairs. We spent a lot of time out there enjoying the views of the mountains. The owner of the cabin is very knowledgeable of the area and can answer any questions you may have. You can tell his pride of the cabin by the way it was kept so clean and so well cared for. All in all, it was a wonderful, relaxing place to stay.

Eagles Nest Was Great!

Just got back from a New Year's weekend stay at Eagles Rest. The house was very clean and had all the necessities (sheets, towels, dishes, kitchen items, basic spices). The location is great - only about a 6-8 minute ride to downtown Bryson City. The area around the home is quiet and had good privacy and a great sunset view. We had one rainy day but were able to still spend time outside enjoying the outdoor fireplace and hot tube which are both under covered decks. The kids loved feeding the chickens and bunnies! We'll definitely be back!

Fantasy weekend in Mountains

Our group of two adult sons, preteen daughter and 50+ husband & wife had a great time playing corn hole, soaking in hot tub and roasting marshmallows. We were able to watch US Open on TV and enough WiFi to answer a few emails. Cabin was very clean and well stocked. Floor plan gave enough privacy and space to spare. Beautiful views from deck! Location is convenient to Bryson City, tubing, hiking and biking. Great fun chatting with host and feeding chickens and rabbits. Cabin and grounds well maintained.

Perfect getaway

Let me start by saying thank you to Joe, his hospitality and tips were great. The cabin is just as pretty in punctures as it is in real life. The deck and sunsets were perfection. Staying in was easy because the cabin was so cozy and equipped with just about everything. If you are interested in visiting Bryson city and enjoy a great cabin in the process don’t look any further Eagles Nest is equipped with everything and more then you will need. This is my 7th cabin and they have all been good but Eagles Nest is that extra level. Great waterfalls and hikes nearby. If small town is what you are looking for then don’t hesitate this cabin won’t let you down.

Magical Christmas Weekend

Eagles Nest Cabin was absolutely fantastic. When we arrived, we found beautiful and festive Christmas lights decorating the house. a fully decorated Christmas tree and music on when we walked in! It felt magical from the start. The house was clean and fully stocked with supplies. Joe met us and gave us a thorough tour of the house, which was extremely helpful. Joe and Lisa have thought of just about everything one would need for a stay. The cabin was very convenient to Bryson City, grocery store, and some fun family friendly activities! We even were able to take our kids on a trail/hike w/o leaving the area. Lookout point and hiking to the creek was a fun family activity! We enjoyed the details that Joe and Lisa thought of for our kids. There was a scout elf there, and he even printed personalized letters for the kids! The Media room, hot tub and beautiful scenery were such a bonus. To say that the kids enjoyed feeding the chickens and bunnies would be an understatement! Joe was incredibly helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and our weekend on the Polar Express, taking in all Bryson City and the surrounding areas had to offer! We will be back!

Outstanding!!

Robin was a great host! There was an issue with the original cabin that we were scheduled for that was out of anyone's control. Robin jumped through hoops to help us by getting us into another cabin that met our needs. It was just as good if not better than what we had planned. Thanks to Robin for helping our team enjoy a much needed break in the Smokies.

Outstanding location, great owner & perfect experience!

The stay here was wonderful! There was a lot to do in the area but the cabin was so wonderful we didn't want to leave! The ONLY downside was the Wifi. Views in the morning are breathtaking!! So much to do in the area you need more than a week to do it all!! The master bedroom WILL make those who stay in the other rooms jealous! The owner was very responsive and friendly.

We became a part of Bryson City and its people in July of 1999 when we purchased the property that would become Lands Creek Log Cabins. As with many of our friends, we’d visit the Great Smoky Mountains as often as we could and each time it was tougher to go back home. From the first time we drove into this valley and alongside Lands Creek we knew we were meant to be here.

Robin moved up to start working on the site and building cabins in July of 2000. Sue, along with sons Josh and Kyle followed in June 2001. What later became the Squirrel’s Nest Cabin was the only cabin here when we began.

Lands Creek Log Cabins is a business built by the efforts and belief of family and friends. It is a true “family business” in every sense.

By the efforts of many we have grown a great deal in our time. Our grounds are now at 100 acres and the home to 19 wonderful cabins and The Lands Creek Lodge. At the center of it and down by the creek is Harmony Hall.

As we have grown, we have had one goal at the foundation of our business: To touch peoples’ lives in a positive way and to provide the opportunity for memories.

— Robin & Sue Fronrath
