Great stay

Property was very clean and well kept. Had the “home” feel, while still being on vacation. Highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to get away for few day.

Short walk to the beach. Near several great restaurants. Owner personally met and greeted us.

Recently remodeled and refurbished 1940’s style beach bungalow. Spacious kitchen with generous counter space. Open floor plan. Two nicely appointed bedrooms with a shared bath. Great private WiFi and cable. Laminate floors or tile throughout. Awesome covered porch with swing, great reminder of simpler days. Parking for two vehicles. Kitchen view of the beach. Plan to go back again next winter.

Perfect

Our week started with 100% chance of rain for the first three days, normally would have been a bummer..... HOWEVER, this cottage was perfect for a few rainy days of relaxation! We sat on the front porch, was able to get out in between storms. The weather turned great later in the week...again, the cottage was perfect to "come home" to after a day at New Orleans or Ship Island. We will definitely be back. A wonderful place to stay!

Mina's cottage was so lovely. It was clean, spacious, and felt very comfortable. She is very thoughtful in her details, considering everything you may need. From beach chairs to boogie boards and sand buckets. She has you covered! The neighbors are so friendly and welcoming. I loved being able to see the ocean view from the kitchen window , yet being far enough away to avoid hearing all the traffic. I loved my morning and evening walks to the beach with my best furry friend. I will be back to stay. It was just good for my soul. Thank you, Mina

Phenomenal Home & Beach is right behind you

Mina’s, home is so beautifully decorated it is amazing what’s hiding behind the front door. The community is outstanding super pet friendly, walk friendly, bicycle friendly, talk to the locals walking the community they will tell you stories of Katrina. We loved the neighborhood we felt like we were back in old Metairie La. We are born and raised from New Orleans relocated to NC 20 years ago. We came for Mardi Gras. We chose to stay in Gulfport so we could have the best of both worlds the beach and Nola only a short drive down I-10E. There are lots of places all around you a Mall, shopping, food, casinos, etc. We especially loved morning sunrises with coffee and seeing the beach everyday and night was so so nice! The owner is more than attentive to your every need, she is fantastic. We ate at the restaurant down the street from the house DON’T waste your money! It was frozen seafood and small portions for the price it’s nothing like the reviews again we are born and raised in NO we know good seafood !! We went to the casino that is 7 minutes west of the home they have two casinos you choose smoke free or smoking. If you go to the players club counter you’ll get a players card, you get $15 free play and $15 food credit your buffet is 1/2 off. We walked out of the casino after 15 mins on slots with $165 we came we saw, we ate, we won! bye now LOL. Go to the casinos they are gorgeous. We will forever stay at Minas home ....unless we are already moved there by this time next year. I love my home NOLA, but what I really loved was how safe we were in Gulfport! No car break-in fears, no worries etc N.O. is very dangerous. Save your money for experiences and stay just outside N.O.

I was in Gulfport/Biloxi on business. The property location was in the middle of the project site. (Working on traffic control devices along US 90) It was a week long task, so the spouse and pet join in. The kitchen was spacious with great appliances. Just what we were looking for!

Good Location to the Beach, but...

For the price, it was a great property in a decent area. Walk to the beach in 5 minutes or so. 2.3 miles to Shaggy's and about 3 miles to the aquarium and downtown Gulfport areas. Probably only a 10-15 minute drive to Biloxi. There are a lot of trains that go by 2 blocks away and lots of overhead commercial and military plane traffic, so if you are a light sleeper take that into account.

Great Location

This beautiful cottage is in a great location for a visit to the Mississippi gulf coast. It’s located in Gulfport, which is close to Biloxi, Pass Christian, and even Bay St. Louis. The cottage itself is about 1 1/2 blocks from the beach. There are restaurants nearby. The cottage is furnished with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay again!

My only concern was that the floors were very dirty I always go barefoot inside and my feet were black within seconds Other than that and the beach not being what I expected which is not the responsibility of the property it was a nice day

Redone older home. Charming. Drawback-train two blocks away that blows its whistle as it goes by, day or night. Luckily, I believe there is only one train late at night and one EARLY in the morning. The others don’t matter, even though you can feel the house vibrating-interesting experience that. It is only a 4 minute walk to the beach on which you can walk for miles if you want. Great restaurants for lunch and dinner, not much for breakfast. Lots of local art and museums to see. Casinos abound, if you are into that. Ocean Springs is a must see!
