Ocean Views and only Steps from Magic Sands Beach!
TAKE IN A VIEW OF LAʻALOA BEACH (aka Magic Sands) FROM OUR LANAI! The top floor condo is directly across the street from La'aloa beach park (aka Magic/White Sands) - at most a 5 minute walk from the front door. Try boogie boarding at the beach with one of the boogie boards supplied for your enjoyment. After a great day in the water the sound of the waves breaking will put you to sleep at night!
However, this is not all. We care about our guests. For example, we give discounts for stays longer than a week. Plus, we block out 24 hours between stays to make sure that the condo can be thoroughly cleaned for every guest.
In addition, the condo is setup for it truly to be your home away from home. The living room has a cable connected 65 inch HDTV Smart TV so you can connect to netflix and other apps. The free WIFI will allow the kids to surf the internet and stream as much as they want with the 400 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload speeds. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a cable connected Smart TV. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds that can be put together to make a king size bed. The living room also has a queen sized sofa sleeper. Recent improvements include updated Master and Guest baths as well as premium vinyl flooring. The guest bath has a tub/shower combination while the master bath has a walk in shower. Our kitchen is fully equipped as we like to cook. and it includes a large stainless steel refrigerator/freezer with water dispenser. In addition, there is a full size range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, slow cooker, coffee maker (grounds or k-cups) and rice cooker, as well as other small appliances at your disposal. We also provide boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas, snorkel gear, noodles, coolers, sand toys, and beach towels for your use. The lanai is setup for dining out as well as lounging and is perfect for watching the beach and the pool below. In addition, we are on the Keauhou building which means we don't get direct afternoon sunshine so the condo and lanai stays cooler. This allows you to enjoy it 24/7 without the needs to pull down blinds to block the gorgeous view..
White Sands Village resort offers two private tennis courts (set up for both tennis as well as pickle ball), a beautiful pool with hot tub, sauna and pool table for your family to enjoy after those long days exploring the island. This area also includes restrooms as well as showers with hot and cold water. There is a covered grilling area by the pool with tables and an outdoor kitchen with a small refrigerator for your family to enjoy as the kids play in the pool.
We think you will agree that you have all the comforts of home while staying here. We have spent a lot of time paying attention to detail to make it your paradise in Hawaii. This includes regular spraying for the tropical pests that come with being in paradise.
Our condo unit is located in the front section of White Sands Village on the third and top floor (#317) so our view of the beach is spectacular! On the third floor, the elevator access is 15 steps from our front door with no stairs to climb. Our unit's assigned covered parking spaces (room for two cars parked tandem) are just steps from the elevator with no stairs for access. The unit even has a key coded door lock for easy check-in and checkout. This condo unit is a value-priced alternative to the more expensive Kona resorts.
If you are a golfer, the Kona Country Club is located two miles down Ali'i Drive. There have two 18 hole courses, one which features mountain vistas and the other fronts on the ocean. There is also a full service club house and restaurant.
The famous snorkeling beach, Kahalu'u, with its green turtles and colorful tropical fish, is a mile walk south. In addition, bike rentals are only a few steps from the condo so you can bike to the snorkeling beach if you prefer. Better yet you can snorkel along the shoreline on either side of White Sands Beach.
Additional activities in and around Kona include kayaking, paddle boarding, sunset cruises, whale watching, parasailing, deep sea fishing, jet skiing, hiking, movies, theater, shopping, and restaurants. Of course, you don't want to forget to check out Kona town with Hulihe‘e Palace, Kona Farmer's market, Mokuaikaua Church (Hawai'i's oldest Christian church) and Old Kona Airport recreation area.
Take a day trip to Mauna Loa and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park home of Kilauea the worlds largest active volcanic crater. It is about 3 mi (5 km) Long, 2 mi, (3.2 km) wide and 3000 ft (920 m) deep. Currently, there is lava in the crater (about 700 meters deep) so you can hike out at night and observe the lava's red glow. Hike around in the general area and trek down into some of the previous calderas with steam escaping from deep below the surface. If you like you can stop off at the Volcano winery for some great snacks and wine tasting. On your trip to the park midway between Kailua-Kona and Volcanos Park don't forget to stop at the renowned Punalu'u Bake Shop. They make many very tasty treats that the keiki are sure to enjoy including their famous Punalu'u Sweet Bread. They also feature Ka'u coffee and make great sandwiches. It is a good place to take a break as you drive to the Park.

IMPORTANT Notice for Summer 2026:
The pool and hot tub area will be closed from approximately early June 2026 through August 2026 for major renovations, including re-plastering and deck replacement. This means at times you can expect noise, dust, and construction activity—especially during the first few weeks—with jackhammers, mini-excavators, and cement work. July should be less noisy but still some noise and some dust. August should be basically quiet during the final curing phase but the pool area will remain closed the entire time.
During the summer 2026 the grilling area should be available as well as the pool table, sauna and tennis/pickle ball courts.

The big island has been our home since 2015 when we moved to the east side of the island in Puna. We decided to move here after spending many holidays with our family on the Big Island. On our first family visit to the Big Island we actually stayed at White Sands Village. We have many wonderful memories of our time there over the years.
When this condo came up for sale we fell in love with it as we know you will too. The condo has allowed us to recapture these family memories from days past and now create new ones with our now grown kids and our grandkids. It is our west side of the island home where we can enjoy beautiful sunsets from the lanai.. We feel very happy to be able to offer you the opportunity to stay at our condo and create your own Big Island memories that will last a lifetime with your own family.

Why they chose this property
This property has everything you could want. It is steps away from one of the best boogie boarding sites on the island. It is only a short drive to the heart of Kailua-Kona and it's wonderful restaurants and musical entertainment. On site we there are two tennis courts, a pool table, heated swimming pool, hot tub and sauna for your use.
What makes this property unique
Our condo is a wonderful place to sit back and relax at the end of a day playing at the beach with the kids I love kicking back on the lanai with my favorite beverage watching the wonderful Kona sunsets. The sunsets are to die for. After a long day hiking and swimming the hot tub or the sauna are there to help relax those tight muscles. On the days you want to hang out at the condo relaxing the tennis courts, grills, heated swimming pool and pool table are available for you and your family to use as you create your own wonderful family memories.
