Woodland Pines Cottage is a cozy vacation home set on a semi-private, lightly-wooded lot 1 mile from the east shore of Upper Scott Lake. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths (including one en suite bathroom), as well as an open area that includes a small kitchenette, a living area with a large-screen (55") satellite-connected TV set with DVD player, an eating area with 8-piece dining set, an outdoor patio with dining area and gas grill behind the home, a 4-seat hot tub (open all year), and outdoor conversation seating.

Note: Reservations for this home also include access to our private beach and dock on nearby Upper Scott Lake, along with the use of our canoe. The Lake Is Located Exactly One Mile Away From The House.

You will need a car to take in all the sights that southwest Michigan has to offer. There is sufficient parking by the house for 6 max large vehicles.

We do not allow any RV/camper parking. You may not park on any lawn or yard areas, or on the street.

Guests will have access to the entire home and back patio area, as well as the use of our private beach, dock & canoe on nearby (One Mile Away) Upper Scott Lake.

Respect Our Neighbors: Use Only Our Yard, Beach, Dock, Driveway, & Parking Areas. No RV Parking/Camping.

Use of our canoe is free with the home. We also offer reasonably-priced kayak rental, by the day ($25/day) or week; reservation & pre-payment are required; a $100 minimum rental applies.

Local boat rental options may be available--just ask for details. The public boat launch is just down the street from your private beach & dock.

The Neighborhood:
Woodland Pines Cottage is part of our group of Upper Scott Lake area vacation rental homes, which is a small community of luxury cottages in the Scott Lakes area of Lee Township. The area is quiet and peaceful, and many vacationers return year after year to the same spot with family, friends, or co-workers.

Summer brings the fun of boating, swimming, picnicking, and relaxing. The autumn colors are spectacular around the lake and area. Enjoy the area's winter sports like skiing, sledding, cross-country skiing, and ice skating. Spring brings the lovely colors of the flowers and leaves bursting to life, invigorating your soul and mind after the long winter.

The cottage is 10-15 minutes away from Crane's Orchards and Dutch Farms, famous for delicious pies and fruit picking. On the way to the orchards is the Fennville Winery, offering tours and wine tastings. If you like antiquing, it does not get better than this - there are many antique stores within 20 minutes, either in South Haven, Allegan, Douglas, and Saugatuck or along Blue Star Highway. In the summer dune rides are a blast and the South Haven beaches are gorgeous. Go fruit picking for cherries, blueberries, raspberries, and apples in nearby orchards. Art galleries in the area offer a wonderful selection to take home as souvenirs. Take your own kayaks to different lakes and rivers - but don't forget your paddles and life jackets!

Upper Scott Lake is only 15 minutes from downtown South Haven or Saugatuck and 25 minutes from Holland.

Getting Around:
You will definitely need a car to see the best that Southwest Michigan has to offer.

Cellular pocket Wi-Fi is provided by AT&T, the best area internet service provider. They only offer limited speeds so more than a few connected devices at a time will cause lag. We provide satellite TV since video streaming is not an option.

Use Of Tinsel, Glitter, Confetti, Feathers, Etc., Is Not Welcomed Since They Leave Messes That Are Hard & Time-Consuming For Our Very Small Staff To Clean Up. Note: If You Do Have A Wild Party, We Will Call The Police & Have You Removed From Our Property.

Township-Mandated Quiet Hours Are From 10 PM-8 AM Daily.
