Classic and accommodating, this beach house boasts a spacious screened porch with rockers, a cozy sunroom with canal view, and a fixed dock on the tidal canal – perfect for fishing, crabbing and relaxing. A small public boat landing is only steps away for launching kayaks or a Jon boat to explore the saltmarsh creek. Situated near the end of a short side street, this home enjoys direct access to the beach only a short block away.

HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping are additional costs for monthly stays.

BEACH / CREEK ACCESS: The beach is about a 3-minute walk right around the corner and a short block away. A small public boat launch is four doors down on Sundial Drive, perfect for launching a Jon boat and kayaks to explore the beautiful tidal creek.

LENGTH OF STAY: Sunday to Sunday stays in summer. Partial week stays may be considered for last-minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.

DOG FRIENDLY: This Dog Friendly home invites you to bring the whole family. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog. Guests bringing a dog must make it known at the time of booking and pay additional rent. Maximum 2 dogs. Leashed dogs are allowed on the beach during daylight hours.

LITCHFIELD BEACH: Walkable with a laidback vibe, this community offers residents and visitors easy access to miles of pristine beach as well as tidal creek access via a small public boat launch. A stroll-about will rekindle friendships made from past stays, reveal scenic Lowcountry vistas, and provide access to a sample of local shops and restaurants. The greater Waccamaw Neck area offers grocery stores, art galleries, prominent golf courses, historic landmarks, and more.

Pet friendly, Caskeys Catch perfect beach home

This home was well equipped and perfectly situated close to the beach (only a short walk across the street) and a serene canal on the back of the home. The home is well suited to fit up to 8 folks. The property is well kept and the neighborhood is perfect for kids and dog lovers! We can’t wait to return. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

Host was welcoming! (Real Estate Rental) The home is on the Sound with Dock that was great and the distance to beach was even better!!! Home had four bedrooms but in full disclosure, it was downstairs outside with a separate entrance. The overall space was great! Very roomy with plenty of good seating. A/C and Heat worked! Hardwood floors for easy cleanup. All bedrooms were nicely accessorized with lamps, bedside tables, tv's shades and dressers to store belongings. Sunroom was great. Puzzle table separate from dining was my favorite. Bathrooms are old but lacked nothing. Kitchen was old, but we lacked nothing. They had a grill that could light, but not get hot enough to cook food. They had an oven but it too took very long to get to a decent temperature. Maybe get those fixed. We mainly grill on vacations, but not this time.

Perfect location

The location could not be more perfect. Right on the water where we watched cormorants dive for fish and one day a bald eagle perched on the dock. Groceries and restaurants were close by. Brookgreen garden, which is a family favorite was less than 10 minutes away. The house itself was well laid out, making it easy to gather together or to separate. The kitchen was well stocked. There were a couple of mild disappointments. The 2 closest access points to the ocean were closed, which was not disclosed in advance. There were no lights on the dock until the last day. We would definitely stay again. 4.8 stars.

Great Restful Stay

The property looked just like the photos. It was on the creek with a nice deck which afforded a serene view. I really liked that everything you needed they had: space, kitchen utensils, extra blankets, plates, coffee maker, rockers on the porch, etc. I really enjoyed my stay. Sound of the ocean near. Everything.
