Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the layout, we all had enough space and privacy. The full kitchen was handy with having the family together. We loved the pool and how close it is to poipu beach.

It’s Hawaii folks and paradise isn’t cheap no matter how you slice it. The unit could have been cleaner and the microwave in better shape, but Kristen is a rock star! Her attitude was amazing and helped with every issue that came up. The unit is in an excellent location; whether you want to go to the beach, drink a few cocktails or go have a nice dinner. Everything is well within walking distance or just a short drive away. I have stayed in nicer places on my previous trips to Kauai, but Kristen was a rockstar and she made this a great selection! We will definitely rent from Kristen again and Vacations Realty Hawaii.

This place has a great layout for a big family ! We had 4 kids and 2 sets of adults and we had more than enough room . The kitchen is a great layout. Not far to the beach .

The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stockedLocation was perfect. We stayed here last May and wanted to come back this AprilJust one draw back that was very disappointing was the hot tub was not functioning. Disappointed my two teenage girls.

Upsides: Comfortable rooms and beds, located steps from the pool and about a mile from Poipu beach and stores, beach supplies (chairs, snorkels, boogie boards), nice outdoor patio. Nice welcome basket with cookies, nuts and a serving of Kauai coffee.Downsides: hot tub was out of order for the 5 days we stayed and gardening crew at work right outside our patio by 8am. A few extra kitchen condiments/supplies would be helpful (spices, cooking oil) but other than that we were all very comfortable and happy with our stay.

We have stayed in Poipu many times, first time at this condo. We loved it! Getting to the beach was quick, property well maintained with great pool. This condo had a well stocked kitchen and laundry. Bedding was nice with extra blankets.

This house was wonderful! It was clean, comfortable and inviting for eight adults. Pili Mai is well situated and Poipu is a great location to stay on Kauai. Communication before and during our stay was clear and informative. We loved Kauai and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location and layout but with serious issues.During the first two days of our stay, we experienced repeated water shutoffs while showering. Only 1 of the 6 of us could shower at a time, and even then the water would shut off abruptly. Terrible experience. I do appreciate the property manager being responsive to address, as we unfortunately had to call her well outside of office hours. Issue was resolved after 2 days of this. With a 3 bath unit and only 6 guests, this was very disruptive.The unit was not delivered in acceptable condition. We walked into• A visibly grimy center island• Food residue inside the microwave• Blood stains on linens• Sticky flooring near the entrance• Accumulated grime in areas behind doors that suggest infrequent deep cleaningWhen we lodged a complaint about the above, we were told it would have been addressed had we pointed it out immediately. However, we chose to focus on the water issues and who wants a cleaning crew in your space once you've already checked in. More importantly, a property at this price point should be delivered spotless consistently.The unit itself was in an unbeatable location walking distance to quality food and less than 5 minutes from the beach. It was also well stocked with beach gear etc.Overall - so much potential but not a good value given the issues we experienced.

Great Location

Minutes from shopping and the beach, but in a quiet, relaxed location. The pool was across from the building, and yet it was quiet enough we couldn't hear anyone.

Perfect location

Overall we had a really good experience, the property was very clean and exactly what our family of 6 was looking for. We thought the location was perfect in terms of things to do, places to eat, and spot on the island. The amenities like the pool area were also really nice! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was perfect for our family of six. We each had our own bedroom and two of the masters had their own bathrooms. The condo was in a perfect location very close to the pool and a quick ride to Poipu Beach.The condo had a well stocked kitchen, and the bathrooms had toiletries. It was convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Beach chairs , cooler and sand toys were also supplied. My only minor complaint was that the bathrooms did not seem thoroughly clean and we found an apple core under one of the beds. Overall it was a great place and I would stay here again. Kristen was our contact person and was very responsive to any questions that we had.

Wonderful Condo & Location

We spent one week as an extended family over the New Year and loved the stay. The condo is well equipped with all of the supplies you need. The layout with separate wings were perfect for each family. Location is within walking distance (15 min to Poipu beach) or a quick drive. Facilities are well maintained and neighborhood was quiet.

Great Location

We had a great time at the Pili Mai! It was a great location - close to Poipu and the beach and the Hyatt (I was there for a meeting). The pool was great and the location of the condo was so easy. We had one little issue, but the property manager was very responsive and easy to work with! Thank you!
