Imagine enjoying your beachfront view of the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the sugar white sands of the beach on Okaloosa Island from your unit. The unit is located at the West end of the complex overlooking the beautifully landscaped grounds.

The unit has a beachfront master bedroom with an amazing view of the ocean, a 2nd floor balcony, king-sized bed, walk-in closet, two vanities, a jetted tub and a glass shower. The second bedroom has a king-sized bed and lots of room. The third bedroom has a bathroom with a glass shower and a Queen size bed. Two bunks are built into the hallway providing easy access to the 2nd bathroom. Extra bedding is provided in the full-sized sofa bed located in the family room. There are TVs and DVD players in the family room and all bedrooms.

All of the condo complexes located on Okaloosa Island are low rises, making the beaches much less crowded than other beaches of the Florida coast. We are located less than two miles from the Gulfarium, the fishing peer, and numerous excellent restaurants. Destin is located 6 miles away with many beautiful golf courses within minutes of the condo.

Great view. Spacious unit. Clean. Silverware drawer needs to be cleaned out periodically (crumbs in the holder). Could use some interior updates (bed spreads and couches). Would stay there again.

The owners and home managers were all very kind and helpful before during and after our stay. I’ll definitely be back and we’re so thankful that the house was extremely clean. My only suggestion would be to have some extra pillows because my family likes to sleep with more than just one and some of the pillows are very thin. We also like to sleep with fans in each room and there was a box band there so that was really nice for one of the families. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner or drinks and the kitchen table was perfect for the adults to play spades in the kids to play go fish! We’d love sitting on the balcony, listening to the waves, watching the firework shows and looking for dolphins! It’s really nice that you get four chairs and two umbrellas with this booking with the size a lot of money for your week on the beach! It was a wonderful day thank you! Our first couple days were rainy, but we stayed inside and played games and the kids had the best time doing that! It was perfect weather the rest of the week!

I wasn’t going to give a review but I received a VRBO notification that the condo owner reviewed me however I couldn’t not see his review until I gave my review. Our original booking dates were 5/16-5/23, but we left a day early (5/22)for issues w/the condo I’ll not go into, but the owner was made aware of issues by us while we were there as well he communicated to me he knew about the issues before our booking. To his credit, he did try to remedy the issue before we arrived and did send maintenance twice during our stay, & was very apologetic for the situation. I found the owners to be very nice, & communicative as were the caretakers. Things I liked- This particular condo provided parking for 3 cars instead of 2 like most condos, plus the owner gave me an extra pass for one more car, also 2 sets of chairs & 2 umbrellas were included in the price of the rental agreement which if not included can be very expensive. The gulf view was spectacular. The deck parking was also very nice. Other Water Edge condo owners we met while spending time on the beach were very receptive & super friendly. Nathan the beach shack guy was great, he had our chairs set up bright & early with good distance between the next set. The swimming pools were quite large compared to most beach condos. There were several close by restaurants where there wasn’t a wait, & the food was delicious. I would probably stay on Okaloosa Island again in the near future.

What makes this property unique

The condo is located beachfront on the second floor with the Gulf of Mexico as your neighbor. Enjoy a morning walk on the white sand beach while the dolphins play in the surf. Swim in the crystal clear ocean water or in one of the 5,000 square foot swimming pools. Surf fishing. Great restaurants are located with 2-5 miles of the condo.
The condo unit also has a covered parking structure as well as a fitness center.
