Location, location, location!!

The location of the apartment couldn't be better. It is in the center of everything, but yet quiet inside. I was fortunate to be in Sete for "Les joutes nautiques.". What a wonderful spectacleto see! For dinner I highly recommend Chez Francois (8 Quai General Durand) just a two minutes walk from the apartment. Seafood was excellent, as was the service. Reservation recommended. Finally, the reception I received from Cecile was so welcoming. As a solo traveler I appreciated the effort she made to accommodate my needs before my arrival and during my stay. Merci Cecile.

Eine gravierende QualitĂ€ts EinschrĂ€nkung ist, das eine permanente MĂŒllentsorgung, von den umliegenden Restaurant und Haushalten stattfindet. Der LĂ€rmpegel ist enorm hoch, auch in der Nacht.Die MĂŒllcontainer stehen direkt unter den BalkontĂŒrentĂŒren der Wohnung. Nachts ,kommt die MĂŒllabfuhr, was in Frankreich normal ist.

Pro:- Lage direkt am Kanal und an der schönen FußgĂ€ngerzone, die Markthalle und viele GeschĂ€fte und CafĂ©s in kĂŒrzester LaufnĂ€he - Recht gĂŒnstiger Preis- Parkhaus bid 1,90m Fahrzeughöhe direkt gegenĂŒberContra:- Die Wohnung ist recht verlebt, Spuren von Feuchtigkeit, verrammelte Kanten, eine sehr alte und dreckige Kaffeemaschine (es gibt neue fĂŒr 40,-), staubig- der Austritt aus dem Fenster ist eigentlich nicht zu nutzen - auf einem steht die Klimaanlage, auf dem anderen BaustĂŒtzen, die dort sichtlich lange stehen. Es ist also maximal von einer Person mit kleinem Hocker nutzbar.- im Treppenhaus hatte sich jemand erleichtert und niemand fand es in 5 Tagen angemessen, das zu beseitigen- direkt vor dem Schlafzimmer sind die Sammel-MĂŒllbehĂ€lter der zahlreichen Gastronomien. Auch die Sammelstelle fĂŒr die Kloake aus den Restaurants, die in SĂšte 1x wöchentlich nachts 1.30Uhr abgepumpt wird, Geruch bei 35 Grad inklusive- Besagter MĂŒll inklusive Altglas wird jede Nacht um 4.30h geleert - ein LKW mit Blaulicht, Personal und viel Krach und Geruch- Parken ist nur gegen hohe GebĂŒhren in den ParkhĂ€usern möglich. Im umliegenden Wohngebiet sind die meisten PlĂ€tze nur fĂŒr 30 oder 120 min verfĂŒgbarAlles in Allem eine nette kleine Wohnung mitten im Zentrum, die sicherlich super fĂŒr eine Nacht nach dem Feiern oder auch einen Wochenendtrip geeignet ist.Sucht WohnqualitĂ€t zum Abschalten in der Stadt sollte man bereitwillig mehr bezahlen.

RĂ©sidons en Occitanie et avons souvent traversĂ© SĂšte sans s'y arrĂȘter, une course rapide ou un restaurant sur un trajet retour vacances. Cette annĂ©e l'envie de sĂ©journer plus longtemps Ă  SĂšte Ă  ressurgi. DĂ©jĂ  trouver un appartement avec non seulement un confort mais une proximitĂ© avec les sĂštois. Une rĂ©elle dĂ©couverte de la ville juste aprĂšs la fĂȘte de la St Louis . Des commerces, les halles, les restaurants multiples , les transports en commun pour se dĂ©placer plus facilement vers les plages et communes environnantes et pour les plus sportifs le vĂ©lo . Cette pratique nous a permis de faire le tour de l'Ă©tang de thau sur une journĂ©e, un rĂ©gal mais un peu chaud quand mĂȘme avec cette chaleur d'AoĂ»t. Nous dirons que ces 5 jours auront Ă©tĂ© chargĂ©s d'Ă©motions et d'histoire. A refaire sans hĂ©sitation.
