About this property

Cozy, Clean, & Quiet 2B/2B Ski In/Ski Out Condo w/ Hot Tub!

My clean, cozy, and quiet condo is located at Snow River at the top of Jackson Creek/Indianhead mountain. It's a brief walk to the Jack's Cafe/Sky Bar on site for food, drink, and the best views from the top of the ski hill in the Upper Peninsula. My condo is the perfect place for your romantic getaway, family trip, after hiking/camping refresh, or peace and quiet on the mountaintop. I provide exceptional communication and top notch responsiveness. You won't be disappointed with your stay!

This condo is located at the Jackson Creek/Indianhead hill and is a 900 Sq. Ft 2 Bedroom, 2 bath condo, w/ 2 person hot tub room. It comfortably sleeps a total of 8 people. The lower bedroom has a king bed, smart TV & ROKU box w/ DVD player. The living room has a King sized Murphy bed that sleeps 2. There is a gas fireplace, newer furniture, smart tv w/ DVD player, plenty of movies, ROKU Box, and very comfy blankets for sitting by the fireplace.

The full size kitchen has all major cooking and kitchen utensils needed. I have provided a Keurig machine (bring your own pods), coffee machine, crockpot and various other items used for cooking. There are USB charging outlets throughout, a small deck off the kitchen/dining table area (weather permitting there will be a table/chairs/electric grill). There is a full bath w/ tub/shower on lower level.

There are multiple card games, board games, and activities for children all the way up to adults. There are multiple guide books to hiking in the area, waterfalls, regional attractions to visit, maps and recreational light reading.

The loft has 1 queen bed, 1 day bed that pulls out into queen size bed, a smart TV w/DVD player, bathroom w/ shower, and 2 person sauna/hot tub room.

There is a lock box for the key, so you can check in and check out with ease. Code is in the reservation.

Please note, I do not have air conditioning in the unit. I do have plenty of fans to keep things cool. It generally does not get too hot in the summer, but please be aware when booking.

Dogs are OK, but I respectfully ask that they not be on the furniture or in the beds.

***Update as of November 12th, 2022***

New management of Snow River resorts have decided that any on site units not in their exclusive rental program will not have access to their pool, hot tub, or sauna at the main lodge. Please do not book expecting to have access to the Snow River pool area.

Great Ski Getaway

Spent a few days skiing at Big Snow. This place is ski in and out..great location. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all we needed and a nice place to relax after a day on the slopes. Myron was awesome to deal with while making the reservation and while we were there. Would definitely rent this place again.

Best VRBO host!!!

While the location and the place itself are perfect- what really stands out is how awesome Myron is as a manager- he is super helpful and proactive in making sure his guests have an enjoyable stay. I’ve used VRBO a lot, and this was also the first time that the accommodations exceeded what I was expecting. I cannot say enough great things about this property!

Great getaway!

Everything was perfect! Cozy and just what we needed. Close enough to get supplies and far enough away from noise. We were the only ones in the unit, so it was very private. Definitely would go again!

Highly recommend

The location was perfect. Loved being able to ski right out from the condo area. The condo was clean and very welcoming. The owner was great, and responsive. We extended our stay a day and he was super helpful in doing that. The hot tub was great, the beds are comfortable. The Netflix and board games were a plus too. Will be staying again in the future.

We stopped a night on our way to Pictured Rocks. Place was clean and quiet. Spent day hiking Porcupine Mountains. Myron was easy to work with. He answered all our questions. Hope to stay at the place again in September or October when leaves change.

Just what we needed

We were spending one night around the Porkies and this was perfect for us! We had a great time exploring the area, hiking, checking out all kinds of waterfalls, etc. Myron was super easy to work with, very responsive and had awesome suggestions for things to see and do, as well as places to eat. His place was clean and cute. It was just right for our family of 4 and could see how fun it would also be in the winter with a group!

Peaceful Place

We enjoyed the peace and quite. So many small towns and things to do within a short distance. Had a Colorado feel to the area with all the mountains. Happened to be very warm but cool evenings allowed us to open the windows and it was just perfect. The condo had everything we needed and then some. lots of game nights on the deck, walks and drinks at the lodge. The staff there were so friendly and even had musical entertainment on Saturday.

Great little place!

The condo smelled new; must have had updated furniture or carpeting or something. It had all sorts of kitchen appliances, dishes, spices, ice maker, etc… The indoor hot tub was a nice touch! Myron, the property manager was SUPER helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. Only issue we had was trying to turn down the temp. Not sure if the property had air conditioning or not. Temp wouldn't change and it got a little warm in there.

Great small condo!

Condo was cozy with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining and living room on main floor. Even though the condo was on the smaller size it was arranged great and it meet our needs. We had 2 couples and the spiral staircase was tight and the bedroom in the loft area had a round bathtub in a separate room along with the bathroom with the shower. The single bed was tucked under the angled ceiling. The queen bed was right at the top of the spiral stairway and the loft railing on the other side. It worked for us and we have no complaints as there is no other way to arrange the condo to get a better stairway. The condo was a little difficult to find as you can’t see it from the parking lot of the chair lift. You need to go left at the chair lift and jacks bar and grill. There is a little drive way over the hill. Overall a great place!

Easy Ski in/out condo

It was perfect for a family of four. Easy access to the ski Indianhead (outside the door). Snowmobile trails right there as well. The pool had weird rules about beer-"No outside beer per State Law". You are suppose to buy beer form their bar, I've never heard of that before and highly doubt it is a state law. They "enforced it", but everyone bought one beer and refilled theirs in the bathroom. They must know that happens, it's just odd.

Good ski-in/ski-out location

The ski resort in general is going through a change of ownership and there were some obvious growing pains. I think it’ll all settle in and be better than years past, but it may take a year or two to get there. Sounds like new lifts & new pool area are being planned. As of now, the condo’s lost their direct access to the pool and hot tub area which is a disappointment, but I think they’ll sort it out and the pool area is being remodeled which frankly is needed. The onsite restaurant changed and the bar that used to be open most days is now weekend only, but the interior restaurant which was barley open is now always open. I prefer the bar, but whatever. Prices went up across the board-food, drinks, lift tickets. It’s not widely expensive but is no longer “cheap”. The skiing is great (not a “top tier mountain”, but for the Midwest, it’s on par with Lutsen and Spirit). The snowmobile access is still good but the trail through the resorts was cut. You can still access the trail head and get to the lake and towns and other trails. The snow is phenomenal—lots and lots of fluffy snow. Every time I’ve even been there, they have great snow and they did a really good job plowing the 2 feet plus of snow we got in a few short days. The condo is well-appointed with all the things you’d want from dishes to towels to bedding and comfortable furniture. I think it’s the best accommodations in the area and you can ski right out from the condo. The road coming in is rough! Watch out for pot holes, especially as you come off the highway, but you’ll make it. All-in-all, we’ll stay there again.
