About this property

Summary:
Come stay at our updated Wakefield house, complete with a brand new hot tub and only seconds away from the trails!

Our family started coming to this area in 2017 to enjoy the outdoor activities that this area provides. The beautiful annual snow falls averaging around 217 inches a year also makes it a great place to stay and adventure on a snowmobile or go to one of the close ski resorts.

We started coming only in the winter months for the snow activities but then soon realized that summer months are just as good, if not better. The summer months are good for hiking, parks, ATV trails, waterfalls, swimming, wildlife to see and multiple lakes close by. As we adventured more in this area, we decided that we wanted to buy more and make a permanent presence in our little neighborhood, that we loved so much. As close by properties became available, we further invested and plan to make renovations and updates for the comfort of ourselves as well as our guests. I also like to provide additional amenities such as spices, cooking oil, laundry soap etc. to make it comfortable for cooking/laundering at home. Please be respectful of items left for everyone to use!! Plenty of pots/pans, dish wear and utensils to cook and eat at home.

We now own the three houses next to each other and the one across the street. 2 of the 4 houses are still under renovations and are not up and running yet.
-Wakefield Blue 1240639 (4 bedroom) 2 king, 1 queen and 2 full beds, 2 bath, newly remodeled home
- Wakefield Yellow 3171356 (which will enter construction summer of 2024) this house is 4 bedrooms, 1 king, 2 queens and bunk beds (no adults on top bunk).
-Wakefield Green (under construction) which will be a two-bedroom king with private bathrooms per room and
-Wakefield White House- across the street. We have plans to make a guest friendly gathering area with fire pit.

Our goal is to provide a safe, quiet, fun place for families to gather! Come alone, as a couple, guys/girls’ weekend or come up with multiple families!

Check out our other listing as listed above. Stay close to family but far enough away to enjoy your stay and your own hot tub.

Great place

Perfect place for 5 guys in their 40's to ski the nearby hills during the day and relax in the hot tub at night. Everything very clean and the hot tub was big. Will stay again as the kids get older and I bring the family to the U.P.

Great stay for a ski trip!

4 of us planned a snowmobile trip but due to conditions we were not able to use the trails. We switched last min to a Ski trip and the location could not have been better! We did a day at Snow River and a day at Powederhorn. Both were only 10 min away from the house! The hot tub was the best after a long day!!

Cozy and close to ski hills

We enjoyed our stay here and found all the amenities and items we needed were at the cabin. Hot tub was well maintained and got used a lot. We had a great time enjoying the lake effect snow at the nearby ski hills.

4 wheeling getaway

We stayed at this cozy little house to do some four wheeling in the beautiful forest area up North. The hot tub was a welcome delight at the end of the day for our tired muscles. We would definitely stay here again.
