I’m shocked when you gave me only three stars. I know you had internet issues, but that might have. been your equipment because you said your husband didn’t have any problems. I reacted immediately to your problem trying to find a solution. We’ve had internet issues recently and we had Spectrum out there a few days before you arrived. This little cabin was exactly what I was hoping it was. In the woods but close enough to run to town for breakfast. Perfect for a couple that enjoys nature! With all the amenities. We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I both lived in the U.P.but haven't been back in years. This cabin is perfect for the Upper Peninsula experience . Everything you need us here and the peace and quiet is amazing. Jerry is a great host and made sure all was OK with our stay. We hope to come back in the spring.

This is my second year there. I really love the place. It is a small house but has everything you would need if it was your house to live in. Plenty of rooms for people to sleep in .Several tables that guests can eat their meals at. All the amenities that you could ask for in a rental Just a great place to stay at and I plan on staying there next year too.

We had an excellent stay! Our only issue was that the bedrooms AC units could not keep up with 95-100 degree heat this week, so we slept downstairs on the futon. Very grateful for having that option!

Sorry, unfortunately I can’t control the weather. Upstairs is always warmer, that’s why I put the solid heavy barn door to separate the bedroom and loft, and installed ceiling fans. The a/c unit upstairs is 7500 btu, and the one on the main level is 15000 btu. Under normal summers we hardly experience temps above 90. This year has been bad for the UP heat wise as we are experiencing it throughout the country. We have a second home in southern Wisconsin, and temps here hit 99, with a heat index of 113. My cabin next door, I was able to put in central a/c on my wife’s demand 6 years ago due to similar weather. I’m happy you enjoyed the queen size futon with the 8 inch mattress on the main level. I hope you will return during cooler weather.

Had a great time at this little cabin.was so clean and loved the rustic/outdoorsy themed decor! We were able to take the dog out and cook meals out on the grill, which was super helpful. The location is great and around many things to do. The cabin is cozy and felt like home. Thanks very much for a great place to stay, I would highly recommend this cabin!
