DESCRIPTION
Full of light and space, L'Oranger is a tastefully reimagined villa boasting a large outdoor pool in a garden full of shade and fruit trees.

PLEASE NOTE: In response to guest feedback, all six bedrooms now have AIR CONDITIONING. The property also now has a 40-inch Smart TV.Not overlooked and set in a peaceful yet popular town, your South of France home-from-home has six bedrooms (3 doubles, 2 twin and 1 single) and three bathrooms (one en-suite).

The huge en suite bathroom has a waterfall shower and luxurious free-standing bath. A large and airy open-plan lounge offers double height ceilings and an additional mezzanine sitting area.

The dining area is vast, with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors onto the garden. Sit a dozen or more in comfort around the enormous dining table.

There's a fully equipped modern kitchen for those who like to cook, with space outside to eat, either under an extending sun canopy or in the shade of our hundred-year-old fig tree.

In the village are numerous acclaimed restaurants. A small but well-stocked supermarket and two boulangeries are all a short walk away.

Relax in complete peace and privacy on the loungers round the pool or walk to one of the many restaurants in town.

The beaches of L'Éspiguette and Le Grau Du Roi are twenty minutes away, as is the captivating Roman city of Nîmes (20 mins North) or Montpellier (20 mins South).

Charming medieval Aigues Mortes is just 20km away.

Further afield you can visit Arles, once home to Van Gogh and now host to the world famous Photography Festival. Nearby Sommières has a famous flea market (and foodmarket) every Saturday. You can get there in ten minutes by car or 30 minutes by cycle.

Proximity to the A9 means Marseille and Beziers Airports are both about an hour away. Montpellier Airport and Nimes Garons airport are 20 minutes away.

Lovely spacious house with lovely outdoor space.

A beautiful house, set in lovely gardens, which worked very well for our party of 9. Plenty of space for everyone, Several local restaurants within walking distance, although only ever one or two open each night. Angus was very helpful with logistics for our disabled child. Both families in our party thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time in this absolutely superb villa. The house is beautiful, hugely spacious and even better than in the pictures. It is amazingly well supplied, with towels, crockery, cutlery, glassware, cleaning products, foil, spices, washing up liquid etc... The garden is lush, and full of beautiful trees and shrubs with different areas to relax, and the swimming pool is fantastic. Gallargues-le-Montueux is a charming little town, with everything you need, or you can go to the larger supermarkets or towns close by. Communication with the owner was outstanding. We have stayed in many VRBO houses and this was definitely the best thus far. Thank you, Angus & Anna, we definitely hope to return!

We are a Scottish couple, Angus is a company owner, Anna is a Doctor. We have three adult children and bought L'Oranger last year as our family holiday home. It's been furnished with care and love and we want you to enjoy it as much as we do! We currently live in Glasgow, visiting L'Oranger whenever we can. When we're not there, we're delighted to share it with guests.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this place as soon as we saw it. It's in the perfect location, just 20 mins from the beautiful beaches of L'Éspiguette and within easy reach of Nîmes, Montpellier and Arles. Lots of different airports and TGV stations give you many options to get here. We've used Montpellier, Beziers and Marseille airports. The new Paris to Nîmes TGV service takes less than 3 hours. The town is spoiled with numerous excellent restaurants and even a local, well-stocked supermarket.

What makes this property unique

The large shady garden with large pool is totally private and not overlooked. Many different fruit trees and bushes are in the garden. Help yourself!
