We take the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of our property very seriously. The home is professionally cleaned and inspected between every guest to ensure it is prepared for each arrival. During your stay, no concerns regarding the cleanliness of the property, the toilets, or the deck were reported to us. Had we been made aware of these issues, we would have responded immediately to investigate and resolve them. Following your departure, the deck was inspected and any necessary maintenance was addressed. We also confirmed that all toilets are functioning properly, with no evidence of plumbing issues during or after your stay. We regret that the property did not meet your expectations. When you notified us about your concerns of seeing insects in the home, we responded immediately by contacting our licensed pest control provider as soon as they opened. A technician arrived at the property within approximately one hour to inspect and treat the home. Although the property receives routine pest control service, occasional insect activity can occur in our coastal environment, particularly during the warmer months. We take all pest-related reports seriously and work to address them as quickly as possible. Regarding the electronic door lock, we received an automated notification during your stay indicating that the batteries were running low. The batteries had been replaced prior to your arrival but unexpectedly discharged faster than anticipated. To prevent the lock from failing and creating a potential security issue before our maintenance technician could arrive, we asked if you would be willing to replace the batteries using the spare batteries provided in the home. You kindly agreed without objection. We had already ordered a replacement lock, which unfortunately did not arrive until after your departure. The lock has since been replaced. We appreciate all guest feedback, as it allows us to continually improve the experience we provide.
