Glen Falls Cottage is beautifully decorated, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The location is stunning within the trees of the forrest, making one feel that you are in a luxury treehouse!

Thank you Phyllis! We are glad you enjoyed the home!
We really enjoyed our stay! It was perfect for my fiancé and my parents! Despite hurricane Helene we decided to still come visit. Communication was amazing and very helpful when we were concerned about coming! Would 100% recommend and we would come back! PERFECT weekend trip all around and it made my mom’s birthday so special!

Thank you so much Peyton! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay <3
This property exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful short getaway to Highlands. The cabin was so well appointed, fully stocked, that it exceeded expectations. If we ever bring our family back to Highlands again, which I plan on doing, I will certainly look to see if this property is available. For anyone considering this property, go for it!

Close to downtown and hiking. Dishwasher not working. Clean, well managed. Driveway very steep, no guardrail.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback! We do apologize for the inconvenience of not having a dish washer during your stay. We had to order a part for the dishwasher and that took a while to come in but it is now back in working order.
Property was great, location was great, but do not underestimate the other reviewers’ comments about the driveway. We spend a lot of time in this area (and are well versed in mountain driving here and in Colorado), and have never come across an issue like this before. We struggled to ascend the driveway in dry conditions without all wheel drive, and even my brother-in-law’s AWD suv struggled to get to the top. Would likely not rebook for this aspect alone. Overall good experience, but beware the driveway. The walk from the road would be too far in the cold with young children.

Thanks for your review, Brooke! Unfortunately we can't do anything to make the driveway less steep, but we do try to make sure our guests are aware of the driveway if we talk to them while booking. I've made sure the listing description has a specific note about it as well so future guests who book online are informed. We are glad you enjoyed your stay anyways!
My husband, brother, sister-in-law and I had a fabulous time in this cottage! It is perfect for 2 couples and the extra 1/2 bath is an added bonus. Perfect location, private, and well stocked! There were only a few issues.....first, I was very hesitant to book this property because there was NO cancellation policy at all! I took my chances and waited until it was closer to the travel dates and then booked it. Luckily it was still available.
Second, the drive way is VERY steep but as long as you have an AVD, you should be fine. Third, the house seems very dark despite the beautiful light fixtures, especially in the upstairs bathroom. Other than these things, the house was amazing and we would definitely stay again! We also met and toured 2 of the other houses in this small quaint area which were equally as beautiful and are going to be available for rental soon.

Thanks Kelly! We're so glad you enjoyed the home :-)
This is a very cute house. Everything was very nice. The driveway is treacherous. If we had been in my husbands sports car, not sure we would have made it up without damage. There was no going out for a walk without driving down. Just too dangerous for older folks. The folks managing the property were very professional and helpful.

Thank you Carla, We do try to make sure guests who call in are aware of the driveway, but I'll make sure the listing has a note as well for those who book online. We're happy to hear you enjoyed the home
We loved the Holt Cottage. Great size and location with a fully stocked kitchen which is rare with so many rentals. Appreciate the outdoor furniture. The one drawback is the driveway. Very steep and not all vehicles will be able to park by the house. Not a good choice for anyone who has any mobility issues.
The cottage was so cozy and comfortable. All of the furniture and bedding was delightful. The kitchen was well appointed and the porch had many seating options and we enjoyed the grill and fire pit. It was so nice to only have a mile to drive into town. It feels like you are in a tree house on the back deck. Very peaceful, pretty and relaxing. We hated to leave! Thank you for sharing this wonderful retreat with us!
The house was well appointed and decorated, and the perfect getaway for a long weekend! If you are expecting winter weather, a 4WD vehicle is needed to access the driveway, but we came prepared. Will plan to return!
Beautiful, cozy house and so close to downtown Highlands. Loved our stay! The only suggestion I have is to make sure you have an SUV with wheel drive for the driveway. The driveway is very steep and my SUV lost traction and got stuck. We had to call a tow truck for assistance. There is a little flat clearing down the road where we ended up parking for the remainder of our stay.
