What we liked:
The location and space was nice. Quiet and peaceful. There was a basketball court and a big backyard, which was great to run around in. Grill was also big and clean. They also had two big garbage cans outside on the balcony, which was useful for us to throw out the trash right away. House was also dog-friendly, which we appreciated. However, there were issues that we’d like to point out.
Cleanliness:
- Dead bugs that were killed that weren’t cleaned and stuck against the wall. We saw two moths smushed against the wall
- Bugs (that looked like cockroaches) that we had to kill
- There was hair on the bed and floor and in general
- floors were really dirty. We did not feel comfortable walking barefoot or sitting on the floor. Our socks and feet were black after walking around for a bit
-rooms were very musty
Didn’t provide the necessities:
- no paper towels (we had to buy our own)
- no toilet paper other than the half used roll that was already there (we had to buy our own)
-they had a lot of kitchen tools but a lot didn’t work properly (one of the stoves didn’t work unless we manually lit it but the lighter they provided wasn’t working so we had to buy our own, juicer was broken, etc.)
Other:
-The screen doors had holes / openings so we couldn’t get adequate fresh air inside unless we wanted bugs to come in as well
-we were charged for a broken blind that was broken/misplaced to begin with. Whoever was there prior placed/balanced them in a way so once it was moved, it’d fall off. All we did was try to open the blinds, and it fell off
