★ Wild West Coast Getaway ★ Hot Tub ★ game room ★ in town ★ creek ★ comfy! ★
The luxurious and comfy home is located in a residential neighborhood in town. The grocery store is only a three minute drive away, restaurants, shops and a nice bar are close by. The large backyard provides great privacy and room to play.
We have fast Internet (Starlink; Download 93 Mbps, upload 16 Mbps), so in case you have to work or need good internet for other reasons, you will be all set.
Relax in the hot tub on the back porch after a long day of hiking. Have a picnic or read a book at the private bubbling creek that flows right through the backyard. The local elk herd likes to hang out there, too, and if you are lucky, you can spot a bald eagle sitting in the trees!
The house is clean and fully stocked. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing a home cooked meal. Use the Cuisinart griddler to make grilled cheese sandwiches, keep your kids busy with the indoor - S´mores maker or make waffles to go with your board game on a rainy afternoon. Spend some time playing billiard, arcade games or table foosball, or shoot baskets at the pop-a-shot in the game room, or send your kids to play and take a nap ;o) Have a barbeque on the back porch. It is so easy to relax sitting on one of the back porches (one is covered, one is for sunny days) and looking at nothing but lush green nature. Roast s'mores at the fire pit in the backyard (firewood is provided), relax with a glass of wine around the gas fire pit on the back porch or have a beer while gaming on the new Xbox. The house features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus a half bath. The master bedroom with the en-suite-bathroom is strategically located on the opposite of the house than the other bedrooms for privacy. Have a good night of sleep with cozy blankets and lots of comfy pillows. You will have two living areas, the great room with comfy couches, TV and Xbox or the cozy fireplace room where you can relax in front of the (electrical) fireplace, read or play games. Feel free to use washer and dryer in the laundry room (with laundry pods and dryer sheets provided). Our property manager lives close by so that help is available quickly in case of questions or problems. Forks is a beautiful place and the easiest access point to the rainforests and the beaches of Olympic National Park. If you are a fan of the Twilight saga by Stephenie Meyer, our house is located right across the street from Bella and Charlie Swan´s house (from the book). You can sit in our cozy reading chaise in front of the fireplace, read the Twilight book and see Bella´s house right through the window :o) For more pictures of the house and the Olympic Peninsula, check out our Instgram account (@the_wild_west_coast_getaway). We´d love to hear from you!

We thoroughly enjoyed the home and it met all of our expectations. Would definitely stay there again. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable environment and so very welcoming and peaceful. Cordula was very kind and Sherry was a delight to meet.

The property was perfect! Lots of attention to details about what a traveler would need. It was a great location for our Olympic NP beach and waterfall excursions. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the peaceful view from the dining area added to the enjoyment of our meals at the property. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well stocked. You could tell much thought and effort went into making guests feel comfortable and at home. This was a perfect property in every way!

Look no further—this is the perfect home for a few days adventuring in Olympic National Park. We enjoyed day trips to Hoh, Ruby Beach, Second Beach, and Cape Flattery, returning to this peaceful compound for a soak in the hot tub, while our kids enjoyed the game room. Appreciated the added amenities like laundry detergent, microwave popcorn, and a host of games, books, and puzzles. Thank you for hosting us—definitely a spring break to remember!
This is our third stay here. We had a fantastic time and it is a great home base to explore the north Olympics as well as cozy place to spend quality family time with a game or puzzle. Highly recommended.

Hi, nice to meet you!
My name is Cordula. I fell in love with the beauty of Olympic National Park many years ago, and I fell hard. It is just so breathtakingly beautiful! I have four beautiful kids (all in college or high school by now) and two cute cats. If I could, I would spend the rest of my life hiking every day, but I work as a flight attendant, so that has to wait. My goal is to hike every single train in Olympic NP and to try every restaurant on the Olympic peninsula. Always gotta have goals, right? ;o)
Why they chose this property
What I love about our neighborhood is peaceful and calm it feels, yet, it is very close to town. We tried to make this home as warm and welcoming as possible and decorated it with the Pacific Northwest in mind. For example, we support local artists who work with reclaimed wood and bought some of the decoration from the Quileute tribe in La Push. For us, it truly is a home away from home and we hope it helps our guests to relax, recharge and make great memories.
What makes this property unique
After a long day of hiking, fishing or exploring you will come back to a clean, spacious and cozy home with lots of inviting spaces to sit and relax, whether it is indoor or outside on the front porch or on the two back porches. Play billiard, table foosball or arcade games in the game room on a rainy afternoon. We love to spend time at the creek that bubbles through our backyard. In summer, you can dangle your feet in the water and let your kids play with the frogs. If you are lucky, the local elk herd pays you a visit or you will spot bald eagles in the tree tops. You have all the privacy and peacefulness you need, but stores, restaurants and a bar are still less than a 5 minute drive away. It truly is the best of both worlds…
