Private,Quiet, cabin,on 27 acres,w/ trails. near the Hoh Rain Forest Nat' l Park.
Hello. At this time of the corona virus outbreak. Here are some reassurances about my place.I am on the West end of Jefferson County. 65 miles from Port Angeles and 110 miles from Aberdeen. The closest town is Forks and that is 15 miles away. There is a large grocery store. I am isolated, with no super close neighbours and in the middle of 27 acres of pristine forest land. I have my own well and I have it tested every year. My crew of helpers are doing a great job of keeping the property clean and comfortable. We get lots of great comments about this. Our favorite comment..."We can't wait to come back". The decks, gazebo, huge yard ,and the wonderful trails are really fun to relax around. And so quiet too.

Loved our stay at the cabin! It’s a special setting and our kids loved exploring the trails on the property - we walked the trails at least twice a day. We also enjoyed meeting Kamala and chatting with her, she gave us some great travel tips for the next leg of our vacation. It was a pleasure staying at her property!
Our host was wonderful and made us feel very welcome and took great care of us! A place to come back to over and over! It is also ideally located for the Hoh rainforest and many beautiful beaches.
Kamala was an excellent host! We enjoyed our short stay and only wish that we could have stayed longer! Very comfortable beds and convenient to the Hoh rainforest and beaches.
As always, this cabin doesn't disappoint. Its so cozy and there is so much to do in and around the property. The trails are breathtaking. The cabin has all the supplies you could want and then some. Kamala is so nice and helpful. We've stayed here several times, and hope to stay againg. Well worth the price. This is our happy place!
Kamala was the best host we've ever had on any vacation. She was so sweet and had so many stories. We even had her over for dinner one night. The power went out after a tree fell in the middle of the night and she was up at 3am to call it in immediately, then came over first thing in the morning to get the wifi back up and running. The trails on the 27 acres are just as awesome as anywhere in the hoh rainforest and they're all literally in the back yard and very clearly marked so it's hard to get lost. This place is truly amazing and the pictures just don't do it justice. It had everything you would need for a place like this, even rain gear. And the outdoor shower was awesome, we may even build one at our own house one day now. 10/10 recommend to anyone staying here and we will 100% stay here again if we come back to the Olympic Peninsula. She gave us all big hugs when we left
It was a lovely cabin. Very peaceful. Enjoyed the trails on the property. The host was very helpful and kind. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed.
The house was exactly what we needed to have our family adventures in Olympic. It was clean and well furnished. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen and washer and dryer.Communication with the host was easy and direct. Would definitely recommend
This place is the most beautiful cabin and property. Well stocked kitchen, and entertainment in the livingroom, comfortable beds, and lots to do outside and surrounding areas.
This wonderful HVH was everything we expected. We stay at at lot of Vrbo rentals and Kamala goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. The grounds are beautiful with trails to enjoy through her own rainforest. If weather turns bad, she has that covered with games, videos even rain gear and boots for getting out in this beautiful area.. The history of her journey of purchasing and renovating, the 2 cabins from the 30's, is fascinating. Location perfect to explore all the local attractions. An extra added bonus....her beautiful and very functional outdoor shower. This cabin is definitely a place we would love to return to.

This is a great spot for access to the beaches on the coast, the HOH rain forest and the many trails and adventures to be found in the local area.
I just wanted to get away and see the beaches and the rainforest. The property and house are beautiful. The host is wonderful and quick to respond if you need anything. The only complaint would be the twin beds. My friend did not sleep well on either one but there is other cushions for the beds there that we didn’t see. The queen bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful time tucked away in the woods. It was wonderful to be able to walk the trails on the property every morning. It was the perfect size place for 2 adults & a pup, though I think it would be a tight squeeze for too many more people. Overall wonderful place to getaway!grelocation
We love staying here. Walking the trails, enjoying the gazebo, soaking in the quiet beauty of the Hidaway. We discovered Kamala's 13 years ago. So happy we did.
We had a great time exploring the forest around the house, our kiddo loved all of the trails.

We are English transplants who have fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest. The grandchildren love to come and spend time here.We love sharing the cabin with people who really appreciate the beautiful setting. We have spent years upgrading the property. Not easy with over 110 inches of rain a year! We are thrilled that our guests are returning and recommending this older cabin to their friends. I have guests who have returned every year {14} for a week every August ..They always look to see what changes were made to the property in the last year.
Why they chose this property
We come here to rest and rejuvenate and leave the city behind. Our family has owned and loved this property for over 40 years. Actually, the property has owned us! Especially the moles! Many of our English relatives have come to visit and are always amazed at the scenery.Last year's favourite memory was of my English buddies from high school sitting around the blazing campfire, late at night, drinks in hand, laughing until we cried. We wish to share this peaceful sanctuary with you.Make sure you take the time to walk the trails and pack a picnic for the beach.
What makes this property unique
Tranquility, relaxation, and seclusion. We have enjoyed watching the wildlife in the large yard. The trails are magical. Also the beach-combing,fishing and hunting is pretty good too!
